Icee: Why do we need to PM the active people? (I mean people who have posted recently and have more than 15 posts)
I haven't gotten around to banning or PMing anyone on my list yet, but I will do it tomorrow.
EDIT: Done the bannings; still need to send PMs.

No, Icee asked us to leave it. (It's a couple posts back)
Two people PM'd me back (vivacious_red & wrathofrealm) and both were shocked to be on the list. wrath has been posting in the guild and has 52 post (at the moment) and viva has 75 (at the moment) and both have been posting in the past month.Both are fairly new members so I'm confused (and now so are they) that they where on the list. I told them I'd look into it and talk to Icee (and the rest of you) but I wanted to let you all know that some of you may be getting the same kind of responses, then get back to them but I was pretty sure they were fine since they have been posting lately and way more then 5 posts.
Also, Valkyrie-Chii-Chan said she posted in the guild a while back that things where really busy for her right now and it's due to her schooling. She said she would try to make 5 more posts by the deadline.
Lastly, Ura the rainbow King said he's been mad and stopped posting, I asked him if something had happened or if he was just mad in general and he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I don't want him banned if something happened and we didn't know about it, as I'm sure you feel the same. I'll let you know him response.

Well I was logging on to say yet again that I won't be able to finish until tomorrow... but then I backread. Thanks so much guys, and thanks even more to Rayne for doing my part for me! Now you guys don't have to wait any longer for me. Ok, so now that everyone who needs banning has been banned, can someone remove them completely from the list on the first page? Also Crystal of Quills should have been removed by now so her name can be removed from that list too. Then we can move on to the next step. You guys are all moving swiftly and I'm not going to slow up anymore, especially since we're nearly through.
In my haste, I caused some confusion. When I said PMed them, I'd forgotten that the PM was for inactivity purposes. My apologies! If you guys PMed (like in the case of vivacious and wrath) them already, just let them know the mistake was on my part, and I'm sorry. I'd PM them myself if I had reliable connection right now. They're on that list though because they are house-elves. Everyone on that list should be unsorted. They shouldn't have been PMed though.
Hopefully I'll be bale to respond to Valkyrie because anyone complaining about 5 posts really shouldn't be in the guild in the first place. It takes five mins to knock out those posts
@tina: that works for me (about the ura the rainbow king person) and finallyon the fourth time, the message goes through!

All the Category 1's have been removed from the list. 3nodding Are we just waiting for answers from the Category 2s now?

We won't have to worry about them until the posting deadline.
Now, last time we did the memberslist sweep, there was a mass sorting, do you guys want to do a mass sorting this time around or something else?
According to the Lists in the Common Rooms
Slytherin has 14 active members
Ravenclaw has 11
Hufflepuff has 22 (but that number doesn't seem right to me)
Gryffindor only has 9.
That gives us an idea where the first years should really be headed (Ravenclaw and Gryffindor)
If we do the mass sorting, we can come up with requirements together (which would require the newly sorted members to have at least 30 posts by a certain date, or be unsorted)
--the updated posting totals (for the Filing Cabinet) should be due by June 1, so we'll have a clear idea of what activity's been like this month.
sorry if i'm confusing anyone, just checking in and putting down ideas i have in my head right now.

22 Puffies? That doesn't sound right to me either. neutral When did Amber last make sure they were all active? Cuz I know I had like 14 before I kicked out everyone who'd been missing for ages.
Is there a point in a mass sorting in an abbreviated term like this one? confused I mean, yeah, there are a handful like vivacious_red and Clover_IceQueen who probably deserve it, but everyone else is either new (so we can't be sure they'll stay active) or category 2. Its not like we don't Sort for Summer Term, right? ...I sound mean right now, don't I? whee *shrug* If you guys wanna do it, you know best. biggrin
Edit- So, I have no homework life and was starting on my House's post lists. In the Filing Cabinet there's the list of Inactives who are supposed to be in serious danger of being banned As opposed to the danger list, who are only sorta in danger. xp Right? Or did I flip them? Either way....

What should I do if one of the people on my section of the spring cleaning list who needs to be PMed has their PMs set to friends only?
The Ravenclaws still on that list was due to some slight forgetfulness on my part. Almost Godly, Megs784, and Arashi V6 Dream have all been sent a banning warning. The deadline I put in the PM recently passed and nobody replied or posted, so now I need to ban them. LovableSan did respond to the warning PM I sent and said she has been extremely busy but will try to post more. So she needs to be removed from that list for now, and I'll keep an eye on her activity. I'll go fix all of it now, and the Ravenclaw students will now be only 8 people...

22 Hufflepuff's is wrong. There is no way that's correct.
I think this time maybe just a sorting that was irregularly early would help. That way we could let those who have earned it graduate to a student and the others are still so new. The reason i pushed for it so bad last time was because it hadn't been done in so long but this time it was done not to long ago. However, I'll go along with whichever you choose.
Everyone that was a Cat. 2 for me has written back and looks like they are going to try and be active so we just have to wait on those 3 on my list.
It's stated in the Rules that's it's not out fault if you have your PMs on friends only, so I'd try to post on there profile but even that is a stretch.

When I say mass sorting, it wouldn't begin until after Spring Term is over. They'll be put in a House, but techincally we're doing the World Cup again so they won't really be doing classes. There's not going to be an early sorting this term at all because it's only five weeks...and there's no point since the next term would begin soon afterwards. So basically when this term/classes end, we can open up sorting. If it would be mass sorting, the rules would be slightly different. (Kitty you don't sound mean at all lol) The mass sorting would be primarily to get our House populations up. No one should really be a house-elf forever, and for some on that list, that's what it seems like their point. We won't force them to get sorted, but we'd def emphasize how much better it would be.
@Kitty: I agree the members from 2010 should be banned (although they probably have been by now since we went through the guildsmemberlist) - ps: I love how you guys are keeping up with that!!! biggrin
@Lyra: Oh well. If that don't post by the deadline, they'll just be banned. It's stated somewhere that we can't help it if their PMs are FriendsOnly and the PMs are really just courtesy.
@Tina: is there a way you can find out what's wrong with Amber's list and fix it? I know it's not accurate, and so we won't have to do this for another 2 years, we def need our lists to be accurate.
If we decide to do a mass sorting, we'll send out a PM to everyone that's left and tell them the rules of the sorting, the deadlines for other requirements, etc.

Edit: Okay so either Amber hasn't had a chance yet to change her list or ban people OR she's waiting PMs because only 4 people on that list are considered active. Here are the people that land under Cat. 2 and need to be sent the PM... (I can't send them out right now but I can ban the 2 people that landed in Cat. 1, if no one else can do it, I'll do it later tonight.)
