Banzai nodded and watched Acacia as she left. It pained him to see her go, but there wasn't anything that he could do to stop her. He turned back to Bangil then, afraid that if he watched Acacia too long he might do something stupid. He nodded to the mare, and then watched as she took the foals into the trees. What would he do until Acacia came back to him? if she came back to him, he corrected himself. He didn't want to think that way, but he had to keep the possibility in mind. There was no way of knowing for sure what she would chose. In the end, all that he could do was wait. Perhaps he ought to take a day or two to himself? Maybe think things over? Watching the mare disappear into the woods he then turned and walked away. A walk would do him some good.

Having bounded up to her brother, Lyric was about to pounce on the frog he had found when their mother called. The filly let out a heavy sigh. Why was it that the adults always had to end her fun? She wasn't entirely sure why it was that they had to leave, but it looked as if the party was over anyway. The nice mare was gone and her father looked rather troubled. Would they come back? The filly nodded to herself. They had to come back. Her mother had spent so long searching for her father that it seemed rather silly to leave now. Oh well, no sense pondering over it now. Her father probably just had some boring business to take care of. All of that adult stuff. Without looking back, Lyric quickened her pace and raced to catch up to her brother. She might not want to leave just yet, but there was absolutely no way that she was about to let Zangar beat her at anything.
