Gamefreak41495 Lord Shadow IX Gamefreak41495 Lord Shadow IX Gamefreak41495 Well, technically every tier except OU is based off of usage statistics anyways, so this is pretty much a basic tier list. There are still a few more Pokémon that will need to be banned before it becomes relatively balanced, but, for now, this is what we've got. No it's not. The tiers are Uber-is not a banlist. OU-Overused. (BL) -not actual tier, but serves as a line between OU and UU. UU-UnderUsed NFE-Not Fully Evolved (NFC) -Not For Combat. Not a real tier but should be. Woops, in my previous post I meant to say "every tier except Ubers is based off of usage statistics." Anyway, how exactly is Uber not effectively a banlist? If your reason is that it is its own tier and has a semi-balanced metagame, then sure. I would understand, considering I myself love the Uber metagame. However, the only Pokémon in there are those deemed too unbalancing for standard OU play. BL is similar in regards to the fact that it consists of Pokémon that aren't used enough to be OU but are too powerful to be made UU. OU, UU, and NU are all based off of usage statistics. If I remember correctly, fourth gen's OU tier consisted of Pokémon that were used on one in twenty teams or more. I don't know what the rates were for UU and NU, however. Smogon might be banning a thing from uber now. OU and UU are pretty much the usage statistics tweaked a bit, Viniciti and Mew are currently UU while Venasaur/Swampwert is OU. If I catch your meaning correctly, do you mean they might be considering something too unbalanced for the tier made up of things that are too unbalanced? That is indeed a frightening thought. If so, what Pokémon are they considering? Arceus? @Arch: Reuniclus is completely fantastic. Magic Guard, great bulk, high SpAtk, and low speed (perfect for Trick Room) make it an amazing tank. I haven't really gotten into the fifth gen competitive scene yet, but from what I saw in early analyses, that is probably why it's so highly used. Something even more terrifying. Arch: mine has Dragon hidden power, recover, psychic and Shadow ball I believe.

Jerzeeboii Despair the Ocean yea, i poke around serebii alot and just recently smogon. i've started ev training and im breeding for IV's on gastly now. i think i just got one with either 26 or 31 right now in sp attack. some pokemon i'd want on my team are Gengar reuniclus weavile ferrothorn shuckle tyraniter.... idk T___T Thats actually a pretty nice squad you got there. 3nodding I know Adamant Weavile with Ice shard is pretty nice. Knocks out a lot of my Dragons. crying Tyranitar, I have Dragon Dance on mine. If hes able to do 1-2 DD's it's basically clobbering time LOL. That things a power house and a half man. 3nodding Shuckle and Ferrothorn, so annoying! LOL But good for soaking up damage. 3nodding Gengars is always a good choice. Reunclus is pretty damn strong too. I think you got a solid team here man. Got any idea what kinda moves you want for them? Natures? not really but something kinda like this? Gengar(modest) -shadow ball -energy ball -thunderbolt -hypnosis Weavile(idk modest i guess) -ice shard -I -D -K tyranitar(adamant) Crunch -stone edge -earthquake -DD( if i can get it on there Reuniclus(bold i guess) -calm mind -psychic -HP(bug) -idk shuckle(bold?) -toxic -I -D -K Ferrothorn(bold?) -gyro ball -spikes -idk -idk as you can see im not well informed of these pokes

Despair the Ocean not really but something kinda like this? Gengar(modest) -shadow ball -energy ball -thunderbolt -hypnosis Weavile(idk modest i guess) -ice shard -I -D -K tyranitar(adamant) Crunch -stone edge -earthquake -DD( if i can get it on there Reuniclus(bold i guess) -calm mind -psychic -HP(bug) -idk shuckle(bold?) -toxic -I -D -K Ferrothorn(bold?) -gyro ball -spikes -idk -idk as you can see im not well informed of these pokes I like the Gengar, as for Weavile. Modest is a bad idea. I'd go with Adamant or Jolly. But being as its speed is so damn high. Adamant mite be the better move. As for a Move set for Weavile - Adamant Ice Shard - Priority STAB damage Night Slash - STAB damage I highly advise having those 2 moves. As for the other 2 moves. Hmm.. Fake out could work. Aerial Ace to knock out those fighting types? It depends what you want. I just wanted to suggest those 2 moves. I like the Adamant Tyranitar. Moves, I like what you chose. But if you cant get Dragon Dance on it, then switch the Crunch for Payback. Payback's damage is doubled if you move last. There for making Payback = 100. Its got quite slow speed. So it may work out in your favor most of the time. If you CAN get dragon dance, then yes. Your move set is pretty good. 3nodding Just make sure you have no choice items equipped. xd Reunclis, I'd say...the speed is horrible. Theres a VERY high chance you'll go last no matter what, unless trick room is in play. Maybe use a speed reducing nature? Quiet nature, boosts SPC ATK and lowers SPD. That should be better than a Bold nature, its defense isnt very impressive. sweatdrop Just my opinion. Good moves on it, maybe the 4th move could be Flashcannon? Energyball? Shadowball? Focus blast? Which ever you feel will help cover more types. Based on all the moves you have already. As for Shuckle, instead of Bold, maybe go Impish nature. Boosts Defense and lowers SPC ATK. As for moves... Toxic Protect Stealth rock - set this up 1st. Smack down/stone edge Thats just an idea, you can do it how ever you want to. 3nodding Ferrothorn, hmm. Sassy maybe? SPC Def boosting, while lowering SPD. Would definitely help your Gyro ball out more. 3nodding You could make this your annoyance Pokemon. equipped with leftovers. moves could be Ingrain Leech seed Spikes Gyro ball If you want to protect this Ferrothorn further, have someone on your team cast Rain dance, so that fire dmg is reduced to 2x instead of 4x on it. 3nodding Ferrothorn is quite popular now a days. These are just my opinions, you dont have to do any of them. I'm just trying to give you an idea. 3nodding
