"What was that like? I-I grew up in Lavaridge Town..." She was relieved that he hadn't yelled or tried to knock her away. It was over quick, at least. She dabbed the area mostly dry and picked up some of the gauze, placing it over the wound where it stuck, taking a length of the bandage and starting to dress the wound. She wondered, among other things, how he'd gotten hurt. It looked like a bullet wound, but it was possible the wound was from something else. Maybe a sharp stick.

"I guess it was fine, I couldn't really compare it to much else." He said with a chuckle. "It's my home, if thats says anythin'"
He watched her as she worked, and he had to admit, he was impressed. It was a little awkward having someone like this... take care of him, he would have been more than okay figuring it out for himself. but she was being... pretty thorough about this.
"Lavender Town? where's that at?"

"Lavaridge Town." She corrected, "It's in Hoenn, near Mount Chimney..." The bandage was wrapped around Jerome one more time before Izumi cut it with the tiny scissors and secured it with first aid tape. "O-okay... All better." She announced and quickly started putting things away.

"Ain't heard of it" he admitted, truthfully, his knowledge of other places rare extended to outside his home city, much of this had to do with the schooling that he had skipped. "What is like there, everyone as nice as you?"
letting out a breath, reaching up to touch the new bandage over his chest that had finally stopped bleeding. He felt better in a relief sort of way, still staying seated with his head back against the couch once again.
Next to him the Gargar was eying the women who had just helped Jerome with a series of soft snickers.

Izumi closed the first-aid box and put it to the side of the couch. She let out a relieved sigh, glad that she was done with having to play nurse; The girl yawned and plopped down on her couch, the hard work of the day and late hour was finally catching up to her. Izumi smiled sheepishly at Jerome's calling her nice. "It's warm. And quiet. A lot of people retire and move there, since we have the hot springs... Not a lot of room for a mechanic."
Wheatley floated over and touched down on one of the end tables, keeping a watchful eye on the human and his ghost-type. They looked suspicious, like... suspicious people who did suspicious things. Mostly they were just in his human's home and he wasn't used to anyone but him and the drones being in his human's home. When was he leaving?

Jerome wasn't used to this, any second he expected to be asked to leave by a brightened uneasy voice. People around here knew who he was, they knew what he was, generally he had good relationships with the people living in this aria, but those who didn't know him, would never go this far for him. hell they would be scared when he even walked into a shop. It usually got the cops called on him and his group.
He listened to her tell about her home, it sounded completely different from what this city was like. "Sounds like a pretty quiet place." He would probably get so board. "That why ya came here? For yer mechanic shop?"
Jerome stayed where he was on the ground, glancing over at the Beldum that was sitting on the table. Bro' floating up into the air, crossing his arms over his chest and grinning with amusement at Wheatley.

"Yeah, and... it was a little boring..." Izumi smiled, "No clubs. I had to make do with a custom sound system- Well... mp3 player. I built a system, but the neighbors didn't really appreciate it." Her giggle gradually tapered off into another yawn, though she seemed to be trying to ignore it.
Wheatley stared at the ghost pokemon, the upper shutter narrowing with displeasure; He was not amused.
Izumi didn't seem to be making any indication that she was going to kick Jerome out or call the cops. That would have been rude of her, anyways, throwing him out while he was injured. What would have been the point of patching him up? She was curious why He'd had to be patched up, though, and she was finally not in too awkward a situation to ask about it. "Um... h-how'd you get hurt?"

A smooth grin spread over his lips when she told him about the sound system she made not making the neighbors happy. He knew for sure that that would have been something him and his friends would have loved to have.
Wearing a half lidded expression, he rolled his head to the side, though was unable to see her, his eyes fell onto the Beldum instead. "I got shot by some punks." he answered after a moment. "that night at the club."

That really wasn't an answer she expected to hear, even though it made sense for the wound... "U-um, o-oh... I-I..." What did you say to that? It was almost as bad as the question he asked her, which... sort of made sense now. "I-I'm sorry... H-how'd that happen? Do people get shot often here?" Her eyes went wide, obviously worried by that thought. She'd never heard of anyone getting shot before, that just didn't happen that she knew of.

Jerome just shrugged lightly, playing it off like it wasn't a big deal, even though he was very much aware of the fact that this had nearly taken his life... He would pick up the worried tone in her voice, this caused him to frown softly, starting to wonder if maybe he should have been more careful with what he said to her.
"Its me. the people I hang with, the position I put myself in. Ain't anythin' ya gatta worry about." He replied, with a mellowness to his voice.

"O-oh... A-alright..." Izumi didn't really understand, but if she wasn't really at risk of getting shot, she could at least calm down some. "I-I don't really see why someone would want to shoot you... " Like she'd said, he seemed nice enough, even though most people would probably be put off by his appearance; That wasn't a good reason to shoot someone though.

Jerome let out another deep chuckle at her comment about him being nice. She really had no idea. Most people got a sense of warning just by looking at him, they automatically assumed exactly what kind of person he was. Jerome knew he wasn't a good person, He didn't, for a second think he got to hold that title, regardless of how his actions might reflect otherwise.
He was however... intrigued with her way of seeing things. He kinda hoped she stayed that way, that kind of innocence and hope was rare in people.
"You would be surprised, but like I said it's settled, I ain't to worried."

"Um..." He seemed okay, and fairly unperturbed by the incident, so it wasn't too awkward that Izumi had someone in her house who'd been shot. He was just a guy who she met at a club and came into her shop and started bleeding and then she patched him up and- "Oh- I'll go get you a pillow and some blankets..." She said hurriedly as she stood up from the couch and disappeared into some other room.
This left Jerome and Bro alone with the white Beldum. It stared at Jerome, eyes narrowed yet again, clicking with what was probably an expression of displeasure.

Jerome was just thinking about what he was going to do next. he was sure that maybe he could sneak out of this place without being seen, get to his apartment, crash there... get back to the desert tomorrow.
He let out a heavy breath through his nose as this thought, until Ink suddenly spoke up again. Pillow? blankets? what? He pushed himself up into a straighter sit, and shifted his body to turn and stare with a mildly surprised look. "wha... yer lettin' me stay here?" he asked, taken aback. She had hurried off though, leaving him with the two pokemon.
Bro' was not at all oblivious to the Beldum's displeasure, and he let out a small cackle. He drifted over to the Beldum, and snatched out to grab and arm around the steel type he added with a cheeky grin.

The Beldum whirred unpleasantly and tried to float away.
Not long after she'd left, Izumi came back with an arm full of bedding. "You're hurt..." She said quietly. "Of course you can sleep on my couch, I won't be using it tonight." The girl smiled, rather sweetly, and placed the blankets and pillows on the floor while she started laying out a sheet on the couch. That would be much nicer to lay on than the normal fabric that was on it. While she was straightening it out, some of the sheet fluttered up and landed over Jerome's head.
