She then tossed her shortsword into her left hand and drew her final sword, a katana, with her right hand and charged him as if running after the Kodachi. She simultaneously swung both blades at him in an X position. I will protect everything I hold dear... 感情

♪ Theme: Waltz of Red Death気分 Turn your emotions into power!As he disappeared, Misuzu whipped around in time to see her own Kodachi being thrown back at her and go through her chest. Misuzu stumbled back a bit but managed to keep to her feet as she let out a hiss and pulled out the Kodachi out of her chest and holding the Kodachi and short sword gripped between her left hand's fingers. A fountain of blood followed after the Kodachi was pulled out and Misuzu gave another hiss. This was no ordinary foe. Much as she hated to admit it, he was probably faster and stronger than she was. Instead of charging blindly again, she eyed the area and waited for an opportunity. I will protect everything I hold dear... 感情

Right now, she really hated the Head Captain, no, not even the Head Captain. He didn't even deserve to be called the Head Captain. Right now, she hated Tesai Kurogane with a burning passion. Did the lives of his comrades really mean nothing to him? Only something to be disposed at his whim? What a joke. But if beating Saito would free Hans, it was probably her only choice. Plus she would be killing two birds with one stone since she would be saving him and accomplishing her mission at the same time. "Once i'm done, you're next." she snarled, turning her back to him and facing Saito. Misuzu gave him a dull look as she slowly stepped forward. "Sorry...I really didn't want to, but this is something I have to do!" she said, before Shunpoing forwards and stabbing forward with her left arm with the shortsword and Kodachi, gripped like claws between her fingers. He grinned and looked at Saito. "Prepare yourself boy!! Oh, and Ms. Kusakabe...its not only his life your fighting for." He said and nodded towards her. There was a small flower bud on her chest where her Kodachi hit her. It swelled up and drank her blood. "The longer you drag this out, the less energy you'll have to fight. So chop-chop my dear Kusakabe."

The name Kusakabe stung more than the flower ever would. It felt like a hundred stabs being piledrived into her. Midway in her stab, she recoiled back suddenly and flipped a few feet backwards. "Shift, Eien No Shiki!" she called, her reiatsu exploding out from her as her Zanpakuto went into its Shikai form. When the wind and dust disappeared, Misuzu stood there unchanged, missing her three blades as if her Shikai had failed. However, Misuzu raised her left hand with the palm sideways as a magic circle appeared and she drew a black sword out of the air. "Fuyuno Yami..." she muttered as she raised the blade in a tight striking pose. I will protect everything I hold dear... 感情

He waved his hand and the flower grew in size, roots burying into her skin. "Not only will you have that flower on you, but it'll drain your energy the more emotional you get!" He said with a laugh. Snapping his fingers, Hans' head poked through the ground and he slowly came up. He wasn't himself. His skin was grey like Atorasu and there was a large root going into his head. Smaller roots branched off the big one and was all over his limbs. His eyes were dull and lifeless. He drew his zanpakuto out and go into a fighting stance, staring at Misuzu. "You can fight either the Espada or your friend. You choose." He said with a smile.

Hans appeared behind him and took the hit, screaming in pain, mostly for effect. Looking back on Midori, Hans raised his sword and brought it down aiming at her shoulder without hesitation. He was being controled, that much was clear.

"You despicable coward..." she snarled. Caught off guard, his sword ripped through her shoulder as she hissed in pain and immediately backed up once more. She had no choice, she would have to go onto the defensive. "Haruno No Raiu!" she called as another magic circle appeared and Misuzu pulled it out of the air with her left hand. It looked like he didnt care about being cut. "The fun thing about this, Kusakabe, is that my puppet knows no pain. You can call him my zombified puppet if you want. He feels no pain, no remorse, no sadness, no regret. I can control him as I will!" He explained and burst into laughter. Hans looked lifeless and he jumped and stabbed at her, screaming to scare her.

However, he was much stronger than her, due to him being the Squad 11 Captain and she felt herself slowly being pushed backwards. She was forced back a step before she decided to retaliate, flipping her sword around so that the blunt end was facing towards him. In a swift movement, she swung the blunt end of Fuyuno Yami at his neck, hoping only to incapacitate him and knock him out for good. I will protect everything I hold dear... 感情
