Heh, I've got a question. I've been given the same answers by two different priests of two different denominations, I wonder if I'll get the same answer here.

In the bible, It says. " We shall make Man in OUR image. "

It never says in MY image, only in OUR image. Why is this?

I believe it's a reference to the Trinity.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit... which exist as 3 in 1.

CORRECT! Yet also wrong.

It was only God, and the Holy Spirit. seeing as Jesus had yet to be consieved. ( I probably butchered that word... )

Atleast that's what the two priests told me.

NEXT QUESTION!

Who was the second Woman?

Was she Human?

Hint: She only appears in some religious text, not in all Christian text.

The answer is Eve and yes. If you are referring to Lillith, she was Adam's first wife. Having been created through the same process as Adam, she felt herself to be independent of him. Adam tried to assert his authority and she took offense. In every telling of Lillith the topic is sexism. She ran away and God gave her two choices: Go back to Adam, or be cast out from my grace. To which she said that she would rather be out of his grace than to bow to any man. She is said to corrupt children. Her sin is lust and she is said to be the wife of Beelzebub or Satan. She was once Human and was turned into a Demon by Lucifer. She is considered the Queen of Succubi.

@Cobra: You asked me if I believe in Good and Evil. The answer is yes, but not completely so. There are things we can define as being Good and Evil by society's definition, but there are also things that fall elsewhere. Do I believe in Black and White? Sure, just like I believe in Shades of Grey. Do I believe there are things that don't fall in that same topic but still affect it? yes, that is why I believe in the Rainbow and the shades thereof. Who am I to define such things? Humanity is not infallible, and when one must determine for himself what something means, there will be conflict of interest. If I kill a man in self defense or in defense of those I cherish and said person had the intent to kill them, am I evil? I would have performed an evil act but was my reasoning evil? What if I blatantly hunt someone and murder them in cold blood because I know that they planned to do the same to thousands of others? What if I traversed back through time and assassinated Hitler before the holocaust could happen, am I evil? By preventing such a great evil from occurring am I forgiven for my own trespass? In Christianity the only way for that to be answered is if you were to ask God itself. Do I believe in Good and Evil? yes. Do I profess to understand what is truly good and what is truly evil? no.

Personally, I believe in the state of reincarnation and God. It's weird, but all of everything had to start somewhere right? In the gist of things someone couldn't have suddenly said "Omg, there's a God and his name is Zeus. Or omg, there's a God and his name is Jesus" or whatever without some form of truth too it. That everything had to start in one specific point in time and over the years the story changed until what it is today.

For example, remember when you were in elementary school and your teacher made you play the game "Telephone" where the teacher told the beginning phrase and then you whispered the phrase around a circle and by the time it got back to the teacher again, the phrase was completely different. Like you started with "Hi my name is Bob" and then when the phrase got back to the teacher the phrase had turned into "The water tastes like chicken" or something completely f*cked up like that. Just imagine how much more f*cked up it would be between not just the 25 people in your class, but billions and billions of people and hundreds of thousands of years worth of time for every single one of us to take the story of religion and tweak it in some way shape or form. Even if you only changed one word from the person you had heard it from, eventually someone else will change another word and then so on and so forth.

My belief is completely that at the very beginning of time there was a God and he did start the universe and then he created us. But this is where my belief takes a turn from everybody else's beliefs. I believe that this might have some truth to it too, and even though it's a story, it might not be completely inaccurate either. Plus I can see God doing something like this.

NEXT QUESTION!

Who cast Lucifer from Heaven?

( and for my own little entertainment, what does Lucifer translate to? )

Lucifer was cast out twice. Once at the beginning and again at Calvary. The first time he was cast out by God for rebelling against Heaven.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Revelation 12:7-9)

There was another casting out of Satan. Christ Himself mentioned it prior to His death. Referring to His death, He said:

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. (John 12: 31)

You see the second casting out of the devil was at the death of Jesus.

John the revelator talks about this second casting out after talking about the first casting out.

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12: 10, 11)

There are clear clues in the text itself. This second casting out of Satan was when "salvation" came, when "the blood of the Lamb" was shed. That was at Calvary. That was what Jesus also referred to in John 12:31.

In this second casting out of Satan, it is mentioned that "the accuser of our brethren is cast down". Remember the story of Job 1: 6-12? Satan had access to Heaven as he represented planet earth after Adam and Eve became his captives. As he accused God regarding Job, he accused every child of God as worthless (see also Zechariah 2:1, 2). And it was not a pleasant moment at all for God or the holy angels.

At the Cross, Satan's access to Heaven was forever shut. Since Christ won the most decisive battle with Satan, the Lord Himself would represent the human race in all the Heavenly meetings from then on.

I have no idea what Lucifer translates to. I think it's "Morning Star" or something?

but I don't think that God is that mean, or that God would purposly make something as powerful as God's self. Although entertaining, it doesn't fit with God's persona.

Do I believe in Good and Evil? yes. Do I profess to understand what is truly good and what is truly evil? no.

Are you sure? My priest has studied with Hebrews, catholics, and almost every other denomination, and they all concluded that Lilith was actually made BY Lucifer, and she was always a Demon. but I don't know, I'm just going off what I have been told.

so that answer is in dispute!

Technically he has been cast out once. since the world has not ended, Revelations has not happened. But correct! God did cast him out!

Also, He was compared to a morning star, but Lucifer translates to " Night Bringer ". Satan was given to him by Humans, and Beelz was given to him after he was cast out. I think it is commonly used by Hebrews. They like using things they think the Angels used to refer to things.

Actually, Bible Scholars say Revelations is a mixture of past, present, and future happenings. It isn't a book completely dedicated to the end of the world in the future.

Huh, I've only heard that it is what will be, the end of times, the war of the world, The Seven years of hell on earth, etc, etc...

I've never heard that it is a mixture of the past as well.
