Finny shrugged merely to Harry, "No clue. It's complicated." He giggled. He turned to the white-haired dog man and quirked an eyebrow, "You look familiar...Do I know you?"

Trenton looked at Anna's shoes, wondering why they chose her, and more importantly what was so special about them? He snapped out of it when Anna addressed him and looked up at her. "I guess we follow the yellow-brick road." he shrugged and looked down at the messy road with a few missing bricks and some litter. Nothing like in that old movie. Trenton's ears picked up when he heard someone ask him a question and turned around. "Maybe, but last time I was here was around thirteen years ago." he said, his tail letting go of one leg to wrap around the other. The guy did seem familiar, but it was faint. "I'm Trenton." he said and resisted the urge to attack the cat.

Ellie set her broomstick down back in its place in the corner in her tower. She coughed slightly and dusted off her black, slightly lacy, victorian looking dress. She straightened her hat so it tilted slightly, covering her eyes. With a sigh, she pulled the hat off and sat down with a huff. Ellie didn't like being so harsh, but since she had been entitled as "The Wicked Witch of the West", she had a reputation to uphold, even if she didn't agree with it. Her mind wandered back to her childhood, her first crush, Romend, and wondered if he would still think of her as ugly. Ellie closed her eyes. And the day her father had rewarded her sister with the shoes, those ruby red shoes. He had always liked her sister better, always ashamed of Ellie. It was no surprise when her father had given her sister those shoes. But it still stung and hurt her. She needed those shoes for more reasons than one.

He paused, "I might have known a Trenton..." He turrned to Harry, "You heard of a Trenton?"

"Trenton, Trenton," Harry repeated to himself as he tried to figure out why that name sounded so important. "Is he my brother?" he asked confused.

Finny pretended to ponder, "I don't think it. He had...Dog ears, and a tail." He paused- his own tail moving around like it had a mind of it's own. "Perhaps...A childhood friend...?"

"Quit thinking about me and lead the way." Trenton snapped, his tail wavering slowly. He reered his sharp teeth at them for a second then looked back at Anna calmly. "Are you ready to go?" he asked nonchalantly.

Harry gasped soon covering his head as best as he could. "Reading minds is bad!" He paused as he tried to remember the reason... he didn't. "How did you gain such an ability?" he soon sang off-key.

Finny's eyes widened with fear, "Y-yes sir!" He turned around, paused, and turned back. "Where too...Exactly?" He glanced at Harry and nudged his shoulder- in a 'no one really knows' hint- and turned back to Trenton, awaiting his answer.

Trenton blinked slowly at the scarecrow-esque man then looked at the cat. "Didn't you hear Ginny? She said you guys knew." he said

"Of course we know," replied Harry happily before nudging Finny back in a "just nod and smile" hint. "We were testing... no rating you!" If Trenton thought they didn't know, he might have attacked them with a toothbrush!

Trenton crossed his arms as his tail wagged slowly. Something about this smelled fishy. "Well then?" he asked. "What are you waiting for? Lead the way."

He turned on his heel and started walking, "Let's sing!" He blurted excitedly.

Harry grinned again. "But if you sing too loud, a scary bat no hat, no it's bat I think, will come and carry you away!" He held a sad look for a moment. "And I'll never see you again!" he soon cried hugging Finny.

Both Trenton's eyes and ears twitched at the cat's ideas. "Don't...Don't sing...." he muttered. He heard them sing once, and that was enough. "I don't even know your names, anyways." he muttered.
