Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Moving to sit, he allowed the ramen to leave his hand as a faint smirk appeared in response to Rina's promise. It was nice to hope that the fairy wouldn't randomly appear and cause a disagreement of some sort, especially with his current plans. Hearing the propostion considering her taking the pills, his brow raised in mild surprise. He had suspected Icarus of being completely serious, but wasn't expecting his sister to want the man to be out the sum of money. "I can't say that would be a fair deal, but if that's the only way you'll take the pain-killers, then I promise." He wouldn't harp on the issue, assuming that if he did get around to accepting the money, he would end up putting it into a gift for his parent's upcoming anniversary or some other idea. Settling into his seat, as he had no plans of leaving soon unless hinted at, he listened to the sylph's insistence of her health. "Good, as long as you aren't pushing yourself."

User Image This Is For Real,

Drinking from the cup like she would a beverage, as she had no other way of eating it, she seems content with the taste. She laughed at his surprised look, reaching over to the table where her brother had tossed the bottle earlier. Setting the cup of ramen on the coffee table, she quickly untwists the lid and tips two of the pills into her hands. "It's very fair. He knew this would happen the moment he promised you money." she hoped that would make him feel slightly better, quickly popping the little white pills into her mouth and swallowing. "He knew he couldn't bribe me so he went with the second best option." which was true, as the prince certainly would have bribed her if he thought it would work. "My family is.... well off. He won't miss it." she had mentioned the ever elusive family once more, this time without a more demanding subject available for distraction. Maybe she should tell him now? It might not be the best time, but she didn't know if there would be a better one. She was conflicted, still holding the bottle with a name that wasn't the one she had given Andrew; it was her true name, the one she liked to avoid for it sounded too fancy. You couldn't get prescription drugs with a nickname, after all.

Rina was glad when she noticed her guest seemed to be settling in, as if he didn't intend to leave for a while. That was perfectly fine with her; so long as he was here, she didn't have to see her brother for a while. "I haven't had much choice. Super Nanny Icarus has put me on lock down." her trip to the vending machine had been the first time she'd left the room in about a day. "I don't think I've ever spent so much time in one spot." she had been a fidgety child, and it had only gotten worse as she grew older.

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Silently wondering if he should offer to retrive chopsticks, or some other form of utensil, he decides that it would make sense to ask, as he wanted to keep the sylph from walking about. "Would you like something for the noodles?" He had no clue if the girls who inhabitated this dorm kept chopsticks, but a fork would work as well as anything else. He watched her take the pills, hoping that the pain levels she felt currently would drop immensely; whether or not she was down playing her injury.

While she had mentioned her family once again, Andrew was unsure of how to respond. He could let it fall to the side, as thier conversations always did, but curiousity was a big factor in influencing his next statements; Icarus had mentioned something strange about 'telling him', and it seemed that five-hundred dollars wouldn't hurt thier banking account in the slightest. Granted, his family was doing extremely well, but they wouldn't give out so freely.

Keeping back a sigh that he wished could be exhaled, he figured it may be the best route to refer to his own family in hopes that it might lead the way to an opportunity to ask one of the several questions he had in mind. "I'm sure that Icarus couldn't be as strict as Amy was." he joked, remembering the times when she would threaten magic over the boy. Far too many times he would stay under the cover with a cold rather than risking an intimidating redhead with untrained talant.

User Image This Is For Real,

Shaking her head in response to his offer, the princess sets the bottle of painkillers carefully on the table before retrieving her cup. It was warm clenched between her hands, and she leans back against the couch to relax. "No, it's fine. It's more interesting this way." she smiled, still looking amused above all else. Amusement was an easy expression to fake The painkillers wouldn't kick in for at least a few minutes, so she'd simply have to be careful until then; she was irritable when in pain, but at least Andrew wasn't hanging over her like a worried mother. She could have sighed when he let the subject drop; as much as she didn't want to talk about it, it would be so much easier if he had just asked. She wanted to tell him, she just wasn't sure how.

At his claim about being better off than he, she laughed quietly. "With him standing over me, it's like having a mom again." she tells him, rolling her eyes for effect. While the prince had calmed down considerably after their trip to the hospital, where he'd been a worried wreck, he still seemed to stare at her if she so much as twitched. Readjusting herself on the couch? There was big brother standing over you making sure you were alright. It was kind of funny, really, seeing him in such a manner. While his expressions were becoming more and more neutral, as was usual, it was his reactions that threw her off. Such behavior she would expect from Ciarin, her oldest brother, but Icarus had always been the most distant of the three; while not exactly cold, he certainly wasn't the warmest individual around. The girl was rather relieved, actually, that her friend had arrived to give her brother some time off. He needed to unwind, and she certainly didn't mind Andrew's company.

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Letting her eat without another question, as it was apparent that Rina was enjoying the noodles, he listened to her statement of her brother, and mother. The necromancer only knew that the sylph's mother was no longer alive, but he had never learned of what caused the woman to pass away. He hoped the subject wasn't to sensitive, finding that this statement was a fine opening for his curiousity of the princess' family. "What was she like, your mom?" he asked in a calmer tone, trying to assess her reaction to discern if he was venturing to far, or if she was fine with the prospect of answering. Either option was her choice, and he wouldn't mind moving along until another opportunity appeared for this discussion, or his chance to present a gift.

User Image This Is For Real,

Continuing to eat from her cup in the best manner she could, the princess smiled faintly at his curiosity. She didn't mind his asking, she had come to terms with her mother's death over the years {even if she still wasn't alright with her father's remarriage}. She figured she had mentioned her once before, as the boy on the couch beside her obviously knew of her passing. She considers her response a moment before finally speaking. "Her name was Tyria. She was very pretty, and well known for being kind." that seemed like a decent place to start, settling back into the couch. Raising her cup, she took another drink of her lunch, getting a nice mouthful of noodles this time around. Chewing thoughtfully, she maneuvers her next words carefully into place. "She didn't technically have to work, but Queens are required to have some sort of hobby. Her's was music." there, that was subtle. Right? She couldn't stop now; if she kept going, he might not notice it. "She spent her time at the Sylph Royal Academies making sure that young Sylphs received a proper musical education. She's the one who taught me piano." she continued to speak, pausing only a moment to drink from her cup.

"She taught my brothers quite a few instruments, but I could never sit still for long periods of time. It took forever just to teach me piano." even though she loved the instrument dearly, she was not the type who was capable of sitting still for too long. Which, of course, was part of the reason she was slowly going insane confined to her couch for so long. "She and my little sister died during childbirth. It was a bad time for my people, but we have moved on. Out of obligation, my father remarried. I haven't been home since." she hadn't even met her younger half siblings, and she didn't intend to return home for quite some time; at least, not until her brother married.

User Image Clair walked down the hallway and into her room with her music blaring into her ears from her head sets. she closed the door and turned around with a bad full of chips and smarties for when she studied and froze. "oh my gosh what happened to you" she exclaimed to her room mate with a shocked look on her face. She didn't care if the rude boy from the club was here, because she figured that if a boy who had no concern of saying high to a girl was of no use for words with her.

(yes clair still holds a grudge against Andrew for not saying high to her even tho she had said hi)

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Letting her eat, as he had no intention of rushing her, Andrew thought about the sylph's mother from the opinion given. The name was as unique as Rina's own, and he was sure that the woman would be beautiful if her daughter resembled her. He nodded automatically as she spoke to indicate that he was listening, but paused as he ingested her sentences. "She sounds like a wonderful parent." The cause of Tyria's death must have been painful for the entire family, but it was odd that her father was obligated to remarry. The way Rina spoke made it seem like her mother was well known among the sylphid race, a musician that spent time with many children among her own, doing work that wasn't neccessary because-

What?

His eyes darted to the door as it opened, presenting the room's other occupant. "Hey Clair." he voiced quietly, trying to shove aside the attitude given. There were more complicated thoughts presenting themselves at the moment; the main of which he was completely unsure were true, or if he'd misheard and was jumping to conclusions. Staying quiet as the fairy questioned her roommate, he would let Rina answer for herself as it was clear he was unwanted company to the girl.

User Image This Is For Real,

Nodding in complete agreement to Andrew's statement, wondering if he had heard the occasional bomb shell she had dropped. She shifted restlessly on the couch, awaiting the inevitable questioning when her roommate entered. Rina examined the other girl quickly, taking in her appearance, stance, and facial expressions as if to better assume how to respond. One eyebrow rose in question at the exclamation, as if genuinely surprised that the other girl sounded moderately concerned. The princess looked down to the injury in question, gauging the best way to respond. She wasn't especially pleased when her roommate got closer to stare at it like she was some sort of sideshow, but she bit back any nasty comments. She cast Andrew a sideways glance, as if to see how he was handling her snappy roommate, before finally turning back to Clair.

"I got in a fight with something I couldn't stab. I kind of went flying and tore a ligament or two." she shrugged, as if she didn't care or it happened all the time. The way she described it made it sound worse than it was, but she didn't pay it any mind. Either Clair would know what it meant or she wouldn't, and the Sylph didn't care either way. She raised the cup in her hand to her lips, coming away with another mouthful of noodles that she chewed contentedly. Hopefully Clair would get an eyeful before wandering off to do what she had been planning to do before she came in.

User Image Clair nodded and took out a box of smarties and gave it to her room mate "chocolate always makes thing feel alot better" then added "sorry for the haunted house thing arlier, i was pissed off and i shouldn't have done that" as she smiled and walked out, grabing her book bag saying "i'll just study out-" she paused after oppening the terrace door and then turned to Rina and asked "whats with the hot guy standing on our terrace?"

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Sighing audibly, he was uncaring if the fairy thought him rude, as she seemingly already did. He simply nodded to the girl, agreeing to never call her so informally, as it was very obvious just how deep the damage was from thier first encounter. Instead, he let the sylph answer, thoughts of her injury returning. Andrew wished she wouldn't speak so nonchalantly, as if her ligaments being torn wasn't painful, but he wouldn't interrupt, choosing to stay silent and let Rina deal with her roommate.

While studying the pattern of the dorm's wall, he let his mind wander to it's previous thoughts; had she really mentioned that her mother was a Queen? But that would make the white-haired girl a...princess. Letting his eyes flicker back to the ramen-eating sylph, he quietly returned his gaze to the wall; ignoring Clair's mention of some hot guy outside.

User Image This Is For Real,

{I assume you mean Icarus, but he's already flown off. But I'll roll with it.}

Setting her mostly empty cup, it contained only a splash of liquid and half a noodle, on the table as she felt the durgs kick in, the Sylph flopped placidly back on the couch. Her muscles had loosened, and she appeared very relaxed. A content expression crossed her features, and she tilted her head back to look at Claire. "Hot guy?" she questioned, turning clumsily in her seat to glance out the window. "Oh, him. That's my big brother. He was just leaving, so don't worry about him." as she spoke, the boy turned his head and flashed the room's occupants a playful grin before wispy, colorful wings exploded from his back. He flew off, obviously pleased by his sister's nearly drunken half wave. The princess laid her cheek on the back of the couch so that she was looking at Andrew, one arm hanging over the back with the other moving to curl beneath her head. She studied him a moment, her look of content faltering even in her drug-induced state.

"I didn't wanna tell you. I was afraid you'd treat me formally and distant." she shifted her gaze away from his face, as if feeling guilty. "I didn't wanna tell anyone, it kinda sucks to be used for expensive gifts and free meals and attention. But you have a right to know..." the princess still wasn't looking at him, studying something that must be very interesting on the opposite wall. Her speech patterns were off, and she sounded weary; whether or not the weariness came from the subject matter or the painkillers was uncertain. "I'm sorry, Andrew. I'd understand if you were mad." she had never technically lied to him, she had tried very hard to avoid such, but she felt bad. Rina figured he had come to the conclusion that she was a princess by now, or else she might have clarified first; the drugs were fogging her brain, so it was a tricky thing.

Andrew Caliu. Necromancer.

Letting Clairissa return to her orginal plans of study, he leaned back on the sofa, a hand running through his hair as the princess spoke. Though he noticed the unnatural manners of her speech, her reasons were still logical; there would be plenty of beings who would either use royalty to thier advantage, or refrain from becoming close to one of such a high status. Breathing in, he released the air slowly, speaking honestly. "I'm not mad or upset. It isn't as if you ever denied the fact. I just never thought to ask." He would stop at that, for now at least. It was becoming very obvious that Rina was being affected by the drugs, which, while being a good thing for the pain, was not acceptable for thier current topic of conversation. Smiling faintly, he turned to face the sylph before speaking again, choosing to suggest his thoughts aloud. "Why don't we talk about this later so you can sleep a bit, okay?"

{ooc: ooohh, I was wondering who the 'hot guy' was..xD pardon my blank mind at that moment~}
