Watching Yamatano when she could see him, Sora looked up as she waited. She even popped a candy into her mouth, which, as usual,partially re-energized her. As she sucked on the melon drop, Sora's eyes widened upon seeing a large snake appear from the equally large puff of smoke that had appeared at the edge of the pit. "Woah-oah-oah!!!" the genin quickly hopped back--sticking as close to the sandy walls of the horizontal tunnel as she could--and exclaimed with an excited smile. Seeing how Yamatano controlled the snake without problem, Sora had no reason to fear the giant, fanged reptile. It was already obvious that this was their ticket out, . If the snake didn't practically fill the entire passageway, Sora would have pranced about it to observe it from as many angles as possible. However, cramped as it was, the girl merely enjoyed examining the fine details, she touched a scale to examine it,
Of course, through all of these excited thoughts, Sora somehow managed to hear and understand Yamatano's short question. "Yep yep!" the girl replied promptly as she turned towards the voice, "Can I ride the snake? Can I p-". Hearing rapid breathing, Sora cut her words sort and turned away from Yamatano to the source: Kensei on her other side. "Ne ne, Kensei are you alright?" the girl asked as she did her best to move smoothly over to her friend's side with the cramped surroundings, "What's wrong?". When she reached him, she tugged on his shirt sleeve to gather his attention. No longer was the excited smile present on Sora's face; it was replaced with an expression of worry as she tried to piece together what was happening herself, Sora's eyes traced Kensei's eyes to whatever they were looking at, .

Laxus Shook his head violently, He had completely spaced, and he remembered only a couple of things, like the tower blowing up, Kensei tackling him, and then Yamatano summoning the giant snake. " Wall Walking technique. " Laxus said, focusing chakra into his feet and walking over the the snake quickly. " Thank you Yamatano-san. " He said, kneeling on the snake. He didn't have much to say as he gathered the thoughts into his mind. He had been spaced out for quite some time, even long enough for Kensei to tackle him.

A long, tense moment passed as no one did anything just as kensei passed out. Oh jeez, this one's afraid of snakes. Yamatano thought as he dropped down, draping kensei across his shoulders as he climbed back onto the snake. Once the others had situated themselves, Yamatano clicked his tongue, and the snake coiled, winding itself like a tight spring. Not even a moment later, the kyodaija struck, much like a wound spring as it aimed for the top of the hole. As the snake reached the top of the hole, yamatano released his chakra and leapt, clearing the hole, and landing on the glass that was once sand, kensei still draped across his shoulders. If that hadn't woken kensei, he would have to leave him behind: yamatano saw David and an unknown shinobi having a shouting match that looked like it would turn to blows, and he suspected he would be needed should a confrontation arise.

Laxus loosened his hold on the snake as it straightened sliding off of it and landing quite a bit farther than Yamatano had. He had been jolted slightly, that thing had moved faster than he had ever gone, despite it's size. " Heh, and here I thought that you were just magic with water. " Laxus said breathing deeply as he jogged back to Yamatano. " If you need to go, I'll take care of him. " Laxus said pointing to Kensei. " I'm not that well trained yet, plus I'm not too sure about my effectiveness anymore. " Laxus said shaking his head. His fist was shaking as he clenched it. He really was weak. He couldn't even get himself out of the hole. " I wonder what that Ichibi Demon is. " Laxus said, hearing Jishaku's clone yell about Demons and the Ichibi. " Sora, are you okay? " Laxus asked, looking around for Sora.
( Sorry for posting out of order, I just felt like posting, and I needed something to take my mind off of the amount of work I have to do to Laxus' profile to get it updated to where it should be. I grabbed the wrong one from my sand box and then deleted both of them... TT^TT )

Yamatano turned back to the kumo shinobi, leaning over his unconscious leader. "Wake him up" Yamatano said as he remounted the snake, "and when you do, the three of you follow me. This battle will require every able bodied shinobi." As he finished, yamatano clicked his tongue again, and the snake whose head he was standing on slithered in the direction of David and the mystery shinobi. If the shouting he heard was any indication, this would be a battle that would reveal much of both sides.

"Huh? I'm awake." Kensei said in a groggy voice while stumbling to get up. He looked around and noticed he was out of the pit and that he was less hot than earlier. "Thanks..and I passed out because of the heat. Not the snake....im not afraid of snakes! I'll mess you up." Kensei threatened everyone even sora. Even though nobody really brought up why he passed out. He continued to look until he finally noticed david and jishaku. "how long was I out?"

" You were out for a while. " Laxus said looking at Kensei. " Not too long though, just until Yamatano left with his giant... snake. " Laxus said, grinning slightly when he said the last word. " Sora just went to the Kazekage's tower, we should head up there too. If you can't handle fighting next to a snake, I'd provide support from a distance if we're even needed at all. " Laxus said gritting his teeth. Not only was Yamatano probably much more skilled than he was, he could control such huge creatures. Maybe his appraoch to gaining power wasn't correct, maybe he needed a bit more humility in order to gain his desires. " Come on Kensei, let's go help out. " Laxus said turning and running toward the battlefield. He knew he wasn't up to battle something on par with that David kid, but he could help out. With Yamatano and Kensei with him and Sora as well, then they'd be hard pressed to lose. Hopefully that David kid was on their side.

Kensei saw everybody running towards the fight without and shrugged. Looks like the deal he made with the raikage had to be broken. He decided it was best to send a message later and assist Sunagakure instead of fleeing. Kensei ran behind the others and got ready for the inevitable.
