Kenny made his way up the fruit filled path on the fruit farm hoping to find some signs of human life. He'd spent a while on the island now, his first day, and not met a single person. Where was everybody? The internet said this place was a bustling thriving community! How was he going to find a job if there was no one around to hire him. Let alone an apartment or a place to sleep!

"Ug... I've been walking forever! WHEN WILL THIS PATH COME TO AN END!" Kenny screamed scaring a few birds from the fields. He was dieing for some water and had found nothing...At this rate I'll make a great scarecrow... maybe I can find a job doing that." Kenny thought to himself hanging his head. The path really did seem to stretch on forever and yet he felt as if he was almost there.

Kenny continued on his way up the path not expecting much of anything to happen. It was just a fruit farm so what could happen? He made note of all the various fruits he was passing. Melons, cherries, sunflowers and oranges. They all looked to be really healthy as far as Kenny knew. Fruit farming looks like it would be rough work. Especially on ones own but he was sure that wasn't the case. After stopping for a short rest and taking a look around he could bet there were at least ten or fifteen farmers helping to harvest these plants.

Kenny pulled his pack of cigarettes out of his front vest pocket along with a lighter. A flick of his thumb and the fire poured from within the lighter, Kenny stuck the cigarette's tobacco'd end in the fire and inhaled. He let go of the button on his lighter and stuck the pack of smokes and lighter away in their spot in the front pocket of his vest. Unfortunately for him the sprinklers had turned on and his cigarette was quickly put out and he was soaked. All Kenny could do was scream in frustration. "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

Kenneth flicked his arms around flicking water all over the place. I guess I shouldn't have been walking so close to the fruit but man do those sprinklers work! Kenny thought to himself, soggy cigarette hanging between his lips. Kenny was soon approached by a man in a cream colored coat. Why a coat in the summer.... He couldn't help but question but the offer of a towel sounded nice about now.

"A towel sounds like it would hit the spot, That is of course if it isn't any trouble. Sorry for being so loud." sweatdrop Kenny said with a sheepish smile raising his own hand in greeting. "I'm Kenneth Cole, I just moved to the island." He said, his smile less sheepish now with introduction.

Kenneth followed Aleksey up the path to his big ol' cabin. He really was close after all, Although it was bad luck walking up the path when the sprinklers were due to be put on. He's a pretty nice gu.... Kenneth thought to himself, his thought interrupted by a thunderous slap on his back that almost sent Kenny spiraling forward with an "Oof!" Woah! He's pretty strong! Kenny caught himself pretty quickly balance wise. Years training in Shuri-ryu would have taught him that much at least although he was surprised he was caught off guard.

Kenny nodded and waited on the porch, taking in the sights of the fruit farm. There didn't appear to be many people working on this farm although Kenny couldn't tell if there was anyone working near the fruit trees. He reached into the front pocket of his vest and grabbed his cigarettes, sticking the old soggy one in his other front vest pocket. He then pulled one out and grabbed his lighter and lit the cigarette with a few puffs and a deep inhale followed by a deep exhale.

Moments later Aleksey returned with a couple towels for Kenny to dry off with, which he started doing immediately after receiving them. He'd noticed the chipmunk in Aleksey's hair but wrote it off as a pet. Kenny found himself jealous and wanting a pet such as that.. perhaps a visit to the pet store later. "Fruit? No no no, I didn't come for fruit. I came because I'm exploring the island a bit getting to know my surroundings." Kenneth took another look around the fruit farm, It really was beautiful. All the different colored flowers and different colored fruits seemingly dancing together in the fields creating a mural of dancing colors. Reds, yellows, and oranges all coordinated by the one who planted them. "I'm also in the market for a part time job as it were.

Kenneth's eyes lit up. A job! I'll have a job! Although admittedly he'd never farmed fruits before... Or any kind of vegetation for that matter. He'd only ever been around animals but it couldn't hurt to learn as long as Mister Aleksey was willing to teach. "Truth be told Mister Aleksey, I've never farmed fruits before. I'll do the work as long as your willing to teach me how to do it." Kenneth said with an optimistic happy tone in his voice. He took another deep puff on his cigarette and made sure to blow the smoke away from Aleksey as to not get any in his face.
