I can't wait for life to get back to normal- I'm sick, bogged down with people, and in desperate need of some rest, routine and recuperation.

wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance Warning Rant Ahead* wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance Ok- when I say I'm 3rd, and you don't understand- asking for more information is fine. I don't mind that. When I explain in detail and instead of asking more questions about what I just explained you start asking me questions about what my bits are? That's really rude. When I tell you- "It doesn't matter, because I don't associate my sexuality, my gender and my body as it is" and you continue to press me about my genitalia, it's clear to me that you care more about my junk than you do about me. You know what? My bits are between me and whoever is ******** me- and when you ignore everything I say it's a sure fire way to make sure you'll never see them you a*****e. I am not your piece of meat. * Of course this isn't directed to anyone in this guild.

Thanks. *hugs* I'm also starting to feel like the G in LGBT as a social group isn't doing enough to police itself and keep other people under that banner from shitting on the LB and T part of it. Maybe Nyquil and 15 hours of sleep would make me feel better.

Wow, you've had a busy day for posting it looks like *hugs* , and everyone can benefit from a good rant at times.
Contacting someone and asking about their genitals is just a bit invasive. Almost the internet equivalent of greeting someone with grabbing crotches instead of shaking hands!
sweatdrop I admit, you identifying as 3rd tripped me up for a while. But for me, it was a case of "Riri is Riri" and I moved on with life. I had never encountered anyone openly identifying as 3rd online or in person, but it simply wasn't an issue to me at the time either. A friend is a friend, no matter what their gender identity is or bits are! I continued to try and educate myself in my spare time about the various forms of 3rd gender because I knew it was important to you, and I honestly enjoy learning about new things. smile
*note, I know you said the rant wasn't about anyone in the guild, but still felt it was a bit "close to home"* Then we started talking in PM about the possibility of trying something, but one of the challenges involved was my orientation vs your being 3rd. Your explanation didn't quite make sense to me, still fitting in the "Riri is Riri" category, so rather than trying to make a bigger a** of myself, I told you my story, and asked you if you thought it would be a conflict. (Side note: I may post in my own thread at some point about it, but the condensed version is that Saew may be straight, but is less narrow) I don't know what your bits are, but it doesn't matter right now! I am still liking what bit of time I do get to talk to you, and the directions my mind has been wandering. That part of me has been all but dead for nearly two years, so thank you for that initial spark heart . [/rambling response]
Re: your "2 Things" 1- No, they are not the same, but they can be mixed I've seen, and often confused. For me, there is no local poly community, when first reaching out for a network locally we tried the swinger community, as they met a bit more often and had a little less drama than the local BDSM community. Some of the swingers here actually seem to be a bit more of the poly mindset than the swinger mindset *shrug*
2- I'm not going to ask WHAT you were watching/doing to spring that topic to mind. >.< I will simply say that where people put their mouths is their own business behind closed doors. Also you should probably avoid watching Human Centipede (not sure if you're a horror fan).

One more thing...your new signature gave me this visual. It certainly could have been worse. I know you like to dance, are you musically talented as well? I used to play piano when I was little, but I can't even read sheet music now gonk ! Dad tried to teach me how to play drums, but I am rhythmically challenged xd As to singing...well...it's best I don't.

[/rambling response] I pretty much added that disclaimer specifically for you- someone else on Gaia has been sniffing around and when he wouldn't take "My bits don't matter" as an answer and kept asking me if I "was a boy or a girl" all I could do is head desk and rant- especially after I explained that boy and girl are gender terms not sex assignment terms. Some of the swingers here actually seem to be a bit more of the poly mindset than the swinger mindset *shrug* I've never been into casual sex- done it, but not into it- and when it comes to people I'm intimate with, Secrets are a HUGE No No because it takes away my ability to consent to the situation- and Annette's too. Annette trusts me- and trusts me to be safe with my partners, but my trust is based largely on being familiar with someone, so if say- Blackrose hooked up with someone, I'd want to know about it because if something happened to Blackrose, something could happen to me and then to Annette. Quote: 2- I'm not going to ask WHAT you were watching/doing to spring that topic to mind. >.< My Roomie stopped using someone's name and instead just kept saying "The one who won't do M2A" over and over again. He had promised me that because it squicked me he wasn't going to talk about it in front of me. One more broken promise. I understand it from a pleasure point of view- but from a hygiene point of view- just no.

Saew One more thing...your new signature gave me this visual. It certainly could have been worse. I liked it- though the signature was based on a passing interest with busking and an anime I like. Just because you don't share the issue doesn't mean you can't be sensitive to it. *hugs*

Saew *passes Riri a sledgehammer and bag of clue-spikes* apply liberally and often wink The ignore button works just as well. After it's all explained and they still don't get it or my personal boundaries? Well- there's no use in throwing good after bad. Like I can understand someone not getting my gender- some days I don't. Like- I know someone who is trans and they get really freaked out if someone uses the word tranny around them- even if we're talking about car parts.
