"Mm..." he blushed as he looked away after she nuzzled his cheek. "I will try...I won't promise that it will do any good. But I....I am willing to....try." Erik looked down at her. What was it about this female that was making him willing to change. He sighed as he sat down and folded his wings.
"What do I need to do first?"

She paused, realizing she could learn things from him she never knew. However, she'd have to be careful. "Tell me about your family, you've never told me before." She whispered, looking at him. Something emotional, whether he had family or they ditched him, family was often a touchy subject for once. She sat down, looking at him. He had hidden a lot from her, and now here he was, willing to be the man that wasn't uncaring. Wasn't pushing everyone back.
"And how you feel about me." She stopped, shocked by her own words, however didn't show it. She was a strong woman, she'd make him see that.

"I don't remember my family...." He looked away from her, eyes closed as he remembered. "I was raised by a man named Godric, I guess you could call him....my maker. Everything that you dislike about me I learned from him. He always taught me that the world was a hard, ugly place and that the only way to survive was to be ugly right back at it." Erik's tail flicked behind him as he thought about all the horrible things he had done with Godric. In the moment he was having the time of his life, nothing was more exhilarating then being with Godric and reeking havoc everywhere they went, but now that he looked back on it, it brought a bitter taste to his mouth.
"He taught me how to kill...How to take anything I wanted...whenever I wanted it. It didn't matter if someone told me know, I took it anyway then killed them afterwards." The memories were so vivid to him, it was like he was back in those dark times of his life, reliving all of it.

Now most girls would pout and tell Eric to answer the second question, seeing as he forgot it, but not her. Instead she blinked at him, shocked. "So he's the reason." She stated, sparkles going crazy as she glared to the side. "What a mean man. I'm sure the right person can help him though, and maybe he was just...confused, you know? Or raised like you were? Some people....can't help it." With this she tested the male by nudging him lightly, offering a smile.
"I know, I know my words won't matter. However, what is done is done. Yes, you killed, but you can work to becoming a better man that you were before. I knew a man similar to your life story. Now? He has a mate and a small family, none are his children, but he has an adopted son, nephews and nieces, and his life is becoming..... happier. I know if he can do it, so can you. I'll be here to support you, too."

"He made me strong in a dangerous world. I wont be mad at him for that." Erik glared to the side slightly. How was he supposed to make her understand that without his Maker that he wouldn't have survived a week on his own? Where he had been born, then land was treacherous. "Godric was vital to me...."
Slowly he looked back at her, "You knew someone...like me?" He looked at her surprised, but hid it well behind a harsh look. Something that he did quite often when he was caught off guard. He still wasn't good with allowing foxes to see how he was feeling. And Erik didn't know if he would ever be about to.
"And you think....that I could be like this fox?"

She blinked when he actually seemed to take in her words, nodding quickly. "Yes." She said, nodding softly. "I didn't know him more than hear stories when I stumbled upon his brother and a nephew. Either way, he turned his life around. And, Erik, I know you can." She smiled at him brightly, tail wagging.
"Besides, you're much better tempered than him. I'm sure you can." She mewled, touching her nose to his softly, a smile on her lips. "Besides, I'll be here to bother you everyday as always, I won't let you regress~"

"So you never even met the male?" Erik looked at her skeptically. Maybe she was making the whole thing up because she so badly wanted him to change. Which upon thinking about it, it didn't sound like too terrible of a thing. So what if she was lying about it. Chrome seemed to genuinely care for him, though sometimes she had an odd way of expressing it. But maybe he would understand more if he was someone other then himself. Groaning slightly, his head began to throb with all this cryptic thinking. It made him feel stupid because he didn't have any of the answers.
"Well...I'm not promising anything....You might just...have to take me as I am..."

She smiled at him, tail wagging softly side to side. "Well," She laughed out, grinning at the taller male. "Only if you tell me how you directly feel about me." She cooed, perhaps black-mailing him, just a little. Oh, she told him how she felt, and he only had to say it once. He would never have to reassure Chrome again.
"Just this once?" She added hopefully.

"Mm...." Erik looked at her. All she wanted was for him to reveal his feelings but it was something that he had never done before. He wasn't sure exactly how to do it, or more importantly how to express his feelings. To be frankly honest, the feelings that were stirring inside of him were so new to him that he didn't know if he would ever be able to express them.
"Mm.....I don't.....know...I don't know how to....recognize what I am feeling." He looked down, "I know I don't want you to leave....I like it when your around. It makes me.....happy I guess." He knew he was doing a horrible job of explaining things.

That was all she needed~ Chrome smiled at Erik wide, nipping his ear lightly and grinning at the 'Daeva. "I'm super happy near you, too." She cooed, flicking her tail with a teasing smile. "Long as you don't throw me around I'm happy! And you don't have to tell me that ever again, I'll be happy just being near you."
She glanced about, wondering if she should ask Erik if he'd like to hunt, something messy and wild~ Anyway, she knew he'd enjoy it.
"Now, lets find something to hunt? The fish were nice, but I'm still hungry~"

Erik couldn't believe that was all she wanted. he had done such a horrible job of explaining how he felt, and she accepted it like it was the best news in the world. Maybe he was lucky to find such an understanding female. Since he was particularly horrible at expressing himself, but somehow Chrome knew exactly what he was trying to say.
"Hunting?" He looked at her, "Sure..." His ears twitched as she nipped at them. "I smell a herd of elk around here...One of those should be big enough to feed the both of us."

"Elk?" Hmmm, elk seemed nice, she wouldn't mind some of that. She seemed amused by how he was looking at her, but it didn't matter. She was not a high maintenance girl, as long as her man loved her, or liked her a lot. Smiling at the 'Daeva, she flicked her tail to the side and popped over to the side of Erik.
"Care to lead the way? I'm sure our sparkling combo can frighten elk into our grasp." She laughed, nodding to his flames and her glitter. Oh dear, what a bright combo they made~

Erik looked down at her sparkles, "Those will reflect well in the sun. That could be an asset to us later in the future. I will have to make a note of that." He looked back to the forest then thought of something. Before he had time to talk himself out of it, he leaned down and nuzzled against her neck gently. But just as quickly he pulled away.
"Come on..I'm hungry." He headed into the trees, his tail whipping violently behind him. Erik was eager to get some food in his stomach and maybe that would kill the butterflies in there.

Now, she knew better than to squeal and gush about his nuzzle, but she did reward it with a slight purr from her throat. She nodded at his mention of food, tail wagging side to side silently. Oh, she knew better than to outwardly gush, but in the inside she was clearly very happy, happy he was attempting to show small signs of affection even if she didn't ask for them.
When they approached the scent of elk nearby, she withdrew her glitter as best as she could as to not frighten away their potential kill. "Do you have a plan?" She asked, having a small one of her own.

"I want you to go in there and distract the elk...and while they are getting all worked up I shall swoop down and grab one of them while they are busy looking at your sparkles." Erik looked down at her, "But if they start to stampede, I don't care if we lose them all, you get the hell out of there without being hurt. You understand me. I don't want you taking any risks Chrome"
He unfolded his wings and gave them a few flaps while he waited for her answer.
