Jonathan casually stands to the side, watching the chaos. He frowns as the captain passes by him. "If you gave appropriate orders to the appropriate crew, we would be the terror of the high seas," he scowls at the woman in open defiance. "As it stands, we are hardly anything more than a ship of bandits that hardly know the stern from their arse." He shrugs as he looks over to the various crewmen. "I suggest daily drills. After all, what do you think would happen if we were to come across an English Ship-Of-The-Line?"

Leona scuttled over to assist with the Anchor then once the men there had a good hand in it, she flew up the rope ladders to ready the sails. Chaos was easy to pass if you knew what to do. Barking out simple commands to the few lower hand crew helped calm their storm a little. It shouldn't take them too long to learn the Captain's way of commanding... right?

Either way, someone had to teach the underlings the nitty gritty stuff...

The addlebrained captain stared with some bemusement at the overly pretentious young man who was fairly bristling with righteous furor.

Her eyes trailed down his form, taking in the trademark naval coat, regulation boots and neatly tied hair. Oh yes, he had to be arrogant indeed to openly flaunt such military artifacts.

Opening her mouth, Katherine Kruel revealed the rarely seen and mostly mythical intelligence that had propelled her through a life of piracy.

"If we should encounter the revered English navy, I have no doubt my loyal crew will act with all necessary force. If not, I'll have them flogged."

The veiled threat was about as subtle as a brick in a sock straight to the brain. Katherine admired the boy's gall in speaking out so boldly, but the same ambitious attitude that would take him far in the fleet could get him killed in a second on a more vicious pirate ship.

He'd been lucky to wind up on the proverbial rabbit of the carnivorous pirate world.

The former strategist turns his head and looks back at her, narrowing his eyes. "All the loyalty in the world wont mean a single thing if your crew gets slaughtered at three hundred meters because they did not know what to do." He leans in defiantly, face to face. "It is the captain of the ship who commands the crew, not the ship. Now tell me something... is your command able enough to stand up against real opposition?" He snaps at the captain in a biting gesture with his teeth, coming only close enough to her face to make his point known. Weither it is out of clear defiance, or out of lust (or perhaps both), is unknown. He turns around with his arms folded, studying the crew's movements, allowing her to sink in the innuendo.

Leona slid down a rope and landed before Jonathan. "I ehm sehprised, Jon..." she gave a giggle. "Eh man at yer rank wouldehv 'ad 'is lips sewn shu' fer talkin' ta eh Cap'n like tha' on meh old ship." She placed a hand on his shoulder and made a soft bow towards Katherine.

"Meh apologehs fer meh fellow ship mate, Cap'n. It'woul' seem as if 'e knows nuthin' of tha pirate ways." Giggling again she gave a soft and playful bop to his forehead with her fingertips. "Qui' yer bickerin' and help meh with tha sails... An' I think I 'ave a few otha garmen's tha' yeh can wear. Eh pirate's ship is no place fer a nice outfi' like yerself. People will thin' we kidnapp'd yeh!"

"As much as I admire your generosity," he says to Leona, looking up at the ship's rigging, "I'm quite comfortable in my old clothes." He sighs and shakes his head, starting to climb the rigging. "Besides," Jonathan adds, "if anyone is stupid enough to believe that, then we will be rich with dubloons from the ransom money they are willing to pay for the return of an admiral's trusted strategist."

Jamie proceed to hammer away on the pliable metal until there was no more use for it. Sighing lightly she wiped at her forehead and glances around. She grabbed acouple nails and put them in a tiny leather pouch at her waist and settles her mallet as well in a holding pouch. She then flipped her braid back and walked upward to the deck.

Once arriving on the deck, she looks around and nods lightly at the sight. "Causing trouble, Jonny boy?" she said to Jonathan as she smirks lightly and proceed over to the rum barrels.

After a moment of puzzling out the dark-haired pirate's incomprehensible brogue, Katherine came to the conclusion that the girl was trying to diffuse the situation between the upstart Englishman and the captain.

By the time she had that figured however, the deckhand had already dragged the audacious man away, leaving Captain Kruel with a lingering sense of frustration and a sneaking suspicion of defeat.

Never one to take critique nor blatant insults very well, Katherine decided the best cure for the dissatisfaction creeping into her consciousness was a bit of glorious rum, carefully stashed away in the cabin where she now headed.

The (dubious) healing properties of the drink could surely cure any ill, even that of wounded pride. Though as she tasted the first bitter drops, Katherine could not quite banish the taste of unadmitted shame from her mouth.

Jonathan chuckles to himself as he pulls on a rope, helping to hoist the sail up. "No, dear Jamie," he says, "I have no intention of causing trouble. If I did, then I would have said..." his voice increases so the entire crew could hear, "that the captain was hoarding rum from us!" He snickers to himself as most of the crew freezes. "Whoops," he says in a not-so-innocent tone.

Jamie just rolled her eyes as she shakes her head. "You won't last for more than a week on this ship, Jonathan. Just be careful or you will find yourself danging over a circle of sharks soon," she said in a dark tone before she proceed over to the other side of the ship and starts repairing the old doorway.

Observing the exchanges of words that went down, Jemima let out a sigh. "So tough to find a skilled and loyal crew now days. Something must be in the water perhaps, or they all have cabin fever." She mumbled to herself. After marking off her lists she rolled over to find a nice comfy spot to lie back and stare at the nightsky. The sound of footsteps rung her ears as she then carefully positioned herself to see where they were coming from. They belonged to Captain Kruel making her way to her chamber, continuing nightly erotic rituals with Daria Dagger. Amused, she rolled onto her back and began to listen to the sounds, not of the ocean, but the pleasures orally projected by the nightlife activities of the lovebirds.

Rachel came out of her room, hoping that most of the conflict is over for now. She smiles at the pleasing light from the sun, much better then the dark of her room. "What a great day it is today," she says.

She straps her sword to her back and begins to venture around the ship, looking at all the new people.

Jamie hums lightly as she shakes her hips back and forth to some music in her head as she hammers down the loose part of the door and proceed to wipe her forehead of the sweat. Only taking her an extra minute of her time, she hammered the sucker down and walks away.

Passing by Rachel, she smiles lightly and look over her. "Nice to meet you. New?" she asked the young girl.

"Not at all," Rachel says with a slight giggle, "I'm the Master-at-Arms here, you are new though, are you not?"

After talking to the girl, Rachel continues looking around the deck, feeling good to breath some fresh air for a change.
