{PRP} Just an Accident {IdoneaXAmelia Nox}

She splashed into the water once more and kicked out yet a third fish. It flopped and wiggled about in the rocks before she stepped on it's head, killing it. after all it would die when they cooked it so why not end it's life now? Picking up the fish by the tail, she looked like a house cat packing it's recently killed mouse by the tail as she happily trotted back to Amelia, dropping the fish on the rocks. Picking the sprig of sage back up, she managed to shove it down the fish's slightly crushed mouth and stepped back. She looked at Amelia then to the fish then back to Amelia before looking at the fish one last time and sticking her front hoof out as though mimicking searing the fish with the flames Amelia had on her legs.

Amelia quirked a brow as she watched Idonea smash the fish’s brains in and then stuff an herb down its throat. She still didn’t know what was going on or what was going through the filly’s mind but she kept watching intently. When Idonea gave her the signal to put her hoof over the fish she looked from the thing to her friend and shrugged. Lifting her burning hoof she hovered it over the fish for a moment, the flames reaching down and petting it with green forked fingers, until the smell mimicked the one from the first fish. Removing her hoof she looked at the fish and then up at Idonea, eager to see what she would do next.

She leaned her head down as soon as Amelia had taken away the flames and blew on the fish to cool it down some. She then nibbled at the fish. The sage had brought out such a robust flavor enhancing the original flavor of the cooked fish. Looking up she nodded vigorously and smacked her lips once more indicating that it was even yummier than before. She then Pointed down for Amelia to partake of this new discovery.

Amelia’s head tilted subconsciously to the side as she watched Idonea take a bite of the fish, the plant she had picked within it still. She watched closely as her new friend chewed and swallowed without even the hint of a gag. When it was her turn to take a bite she looked at Idonea, uncertainty causing her eyes to glow an even brighter green. Lowering he head hesitantly she sniffed at the fish, inhaling the new scent that mingled with the fishy smell. With a quick and decisive movement she bit into it and chewed, her taste buds taking in the new flavor. It actually tasted alright, bringing her eyes back up to meet those of her companion’s she gave a small smile and nodded her head in approval. “Good.” She emphasized.

She grinned wide and nodded once more, pleased that her friend liked the taste of the herb cooked fish. Giggling, she flopped over on her side and gave a contented sigh to her full stomach. She had that feeling one often gets when they have a full stomach and want to sleep off the big meal.

Amelia observed Idonea lying down and cocked her head once more. Normally when others saw her they wouldn’t stand in one place let alone lie down right in front of her. A Soquili was their most vulnerable when off their feet, if Amelia were bad she could easily burn the soft flesh of Idonea’s underbelly but even that thought caused her to shiver with disgust. With a small sigh she lowered herself to the ground a little ways away from her new friend. The green flames that were her legs licked at her sides and her stomach but never burned her. The ground she was now lying upon would be charred and black when next she stood, how she did not melt herself was still a mystery that no one but her father could answer.

She looked at Amelia with a lop sided grin and giggles before poking at her belly some with her nose then puffing her cheeks out to say that she was full. She then giggled again and made mock snoring sounds as best as she could to say she was a bit sleepy now that she was full.

Amelia laughed lightly as her friend told her she was full and sleepy. She was a bit surprised at how well Idonea was taking her recent loss of hearing. She seemed to be able to keep a level head even in the worst of situations. Her glowing eyes scanned the area around them and she began wondering if Idonea’s parents would come rushing to her side any moment. They had to have been worried about her, she didn’t know exactly how long her new friend had been gone but they had been together for a while. Feeling rather protective over Idonea she brought herself to her legs and walked over to Idonea’s side. Lowering herself down to the ground once more she put her nose on her friend’s side and relaxed a little.

Gigging, she snuggled up as close as she could without getting burnt. She didn't know if hr father was looking for her or not. Surly he must have been though.. Maybe after this nap Amelia and she could head back to him.. let him know she was fine. Giving a contented sigh she opened her mouth and spoke sleepily. "Nap.. Then we find father.. You help me then?"

Amelia found herself growing drowsy as she cuddled up to her friend protectively, somewhat reminded of Anaon and the many nights they had spent cuddling one another. She hadn’t taken her sister on this adventure with her, she rarely did. They were close but they didn’t seem to spend much time together, too much of a difference in ways. Amelia nodded against her friends back and let out a gentle yawn before allowing her eyelids to slowly sink closed.

The nod was enough of a response for her. Snuggling her head into a comfortable position, she allowed her full belly and the comfort and warmth of her new friend to lull her to sleep as heavy eyelids closed. It didn't take long for her breathing to become deep and even the way one often does as they slept. They had a plan and would stick to it. Strangely she was comforted and felt safe with Amelia here.
