Beta Seven found the ground beneath her give way, and she dropped straight into a vat of... Water? That's not that bad. While she can't remember if she could swim or not, her muscles could and she tried her best to swim (well, sort of dog paddle) her way to dry land. However, she soon felt thousands of razor sharp teeth biting her everywhere. It was so painful that she couldn't even scream - instead, she focused on swimming, trying to get away...
And she did it! Somehow, the Boss lives.
Standing up, she shivered from the experience of being fish food and from the cold before turning around to stare at the vat of water. Is that... The remains of her suit and mask in the water? Remembering what the hooded figure had said about exploding once the mask was off, her hands flew up to feel her face, to see if it was true - and realized that there was another mask and suit underneath her mask and suit.
... If she wasn't in pain and on the verge of death, she would laugh so hard.
Grabbing the flag, she quickly stepped towards 4D, where a pink member was, and planted her (now soggy) flag, wincing at the pain. She was probably bleeding in lots of places... That medikit would come in handy right about now.

No splash, no explosions, no screams just...a slight stinging pain as small darts shoot out from the wall, hitting players on tiles 2d, 4d, and 5d. The pain was barely worth noticing at first but then it began to burn.
Results: Those hit with the darts have been poisoned! They will lose 3hp with every turn from now on.

E-12 frowned and moved as far away from the soggy Beta as possible. She felt a slight stinging on her backside. She swung her head around and noticed darts sticking out of her posterior. Her head swam and fear gripped her throat.
Actually, it wasn’t so bad. Then the burning started. Okay, maybe it was bad! E-12 refocused on the game to take her mind off of the pain. She was so close!
There: square 3-E. Call her sentimental, but E-12 had hoped to pay tribute to her friend by planting a flag on her namesake square. It was silly and trivial, E-12 knew that. But it was the one gesture she could make that held any sort of meaning.
I’m sorry E-3. I hope you’re safe, wherever you are.
E-12 gingerly took a step onto square 3-E and, with a heavy heart, planted her flag.

Another noise, like compressed air and something whizzing through the air.
Where were they on the map? E. Letter on his helmet. He had a sudden sense of unease. He wasn't feeling E. Look where paying attention to your helmet had gotten E-4.
E-13 waited this round out again. There weren't that many body parts left to go flying, anyway.

"Whoo! Well now."
Maybe that "Whoo" should have been more like a "Damn it!" or an "Ouch", but with the fear and adrenaline rushing through E8's body the darts felt more like a p***k as he body felt like it was rushing in to a high and slowing crashing down in to a burn.
With trembling hands he reached to carefully pull the darts out before throwing them to the side.
'Time for the next move...' he thought as he scanned the blocks before him.
With a tired groan, he woozily made his way to 5E

Surviving being fish food just to become a dart board? Really... Seriously now? She plucked out the dart that had hit her on her arm before tossing it backwards, into the vat of water with the piranhas. As the wound started to burn, she frowned, feeling weak all of a sudden as she fell to her knees, clutching at her arm.
What a way to go. At least nobody could say that she lack balls while dying. The pain was so intense, it was almost numbing.
"HAHAHAHA-" Those who had been with her at the cornfields might recognize her 'trademark' laughter, although her voice quickly faded as her body went limp and flopped to the side. Her eyes were closed and there was an odd grin plastered on her face, not that it could be seen under her gas mask (2). There were no 'just before death' flashbacks either - seems like her questions will remain unanswered after all...

Moments later 1e, 4e, and 7e went up in a pillar of flames! It seems everyone made good choices this time around.
Results: The poison is still in effect! E-13 got singed for 4 damage!

E-13 leaned away from the flames, but still ended up with his sleeve on fire. Same sleeve as his bandaged shoulder, son of a- he slapped it out. It was a good thing he had gloves. He was walking through the Valley of Death, here.
At least the fire hadn't gone for anything important.
Like his stabbing arm.
He moved this turn, navigating his way to 2F.

The poison was traveling further in to his body causing his vision to start getting blurry on him. E8 shook his head to try and stay focused. Just 2 more rounds and he will be able to rest. Just two more...
Flexing his hands he jumped to 6F and made his mark.

She hadn’t expected the flames. As the tile right next to E-12 erupted, the girl staggered backwards and a fresh wave of sickening pain pulsated through her veins. It wasn’t just the darts. There was something in them, something making her head fuzzy.
No place to go but forward, she thought. With one passing glance back at square 3-E, E-12 moved forward to square 4-F and planted her flag.

As the flames and heat died down, several shurikan flew out of the wall, right toward 1F and 2F. While none of them managed to hit a vital spot, there damage was quite noticeable. >: Red and pink so rarely go well with each other.
Results: The shurikan caused 8 damage! Feel free to limp tragically.

E-12 faintly heard the noise of the trap, but everything was becoming surreal. It was funny, really: walking around on a giant Minesweeper board. E-12 giggled to herself.
She took a loopy step on to square 5-G, swayed for a moment, and planted her flag.
Why did her butt hurt so much?

He was almost there! Just one more move! It was so close, yet so far, especially since he feet and head were starting to feel weak and out of it, but he could make it. He had to, for his fallen friends and partners.
With some of the energy he was still holding on it E8 moved to 5G and made his mark.

The shurikens thunked below the belt again, this time thankfully just punching through his leg. He was not going to limp. He was okay. ....He was really living up to the nickname Puddles, dammit.
Clutching his flag in one hand and his leg in the other, he dragged himself to G-3.
