As the Anubis guard moved toward the door, the blue lizard dissolved in to dust and wafted across the ground toward the guard. She waited as he pretended to look around, and rose up after he locked the door. With a slight flick, she removed the keyring with a dusty tendril and proceeded under the door, in to the warehouse.
What she saw blew her mind. Luggage! With teeth!
Also, there were a metric ton of kunai, senbon, and shuriken, and various foodstuffs and alcohols. Bast reverse-summoned the weapons and sent the food to a seal in Mamoru's Office, and just for good measure, knocked the alcohol over and lit a match. For some reason, the luggage then plowed through the door and started trying to devour everyone with a Jashin symbol in its sight. Bast, as the dust, floated back outside and flicked the match in to the alcohol, lighting the western entrance's storehouse ablaze.

"A.F. Acknowledges, D.F. Good hunting." Ganchou replied tersely. Staring at the entrance, he shrugged, took a stance, and leaped pass the body. Landing near one of the doors, he yank it open, and roll inside. Ruins, no matter what kind, always had boobytraps.

Siniku, as Set Daiou, would not make eye contacted with the Anubis Guard that spoke with him as he spoke, giving the Guards a good deal for respect as he spoke, "[I will be truthful with you and your people. This name is not my real one... as the Jashin have already heard of my name. I do not wish to cause undo attention to myself. I am not part of your Elite Guard, though I am flattered that you would assume one of my meager size and strength is one of your magnificent order.]" he would say though he was no where near as weak as he looked.
"[I learned your language to better communicate with you. It took many hours in our Libraries to learn enough to speak to you like this. I hope that my efforts do not go unnoticed, Great warrior. Again... I only humbly request an audience with your commander. There I will be at forthcoming and truthful as I can. Me and my people only wish to help you and your people. And if we can work something out. Both of our Cities will be stronger for it.]" he said in a soft tone hoping he didn't get clobbered by that rather large flail.

Howaido's buyer was running his hands over each other as he salivated at the handsome meat. "Yes, yes, meat... I will take it at whatever price!" Reaching out to the man's shoulder meat, the old man's hand became full with a sword as he trust it straight into Howaido's father. "Hien!!!!!" The Jashin had downsized their clothing & habits to those of the locals, now...
As San's Kagura Shingan spread out to his iron particles, a peculiar pattern was emerging. Some 'Jashin' were smaller than human children, & their chakras were all over the place. His cat would identify this, too, as a herd of red-eyed mice fearlessly attacked the clone. Some had bones popping out of them in strange places, while others had their skulls on upside-down. In the distance smoke rose from a warehouse, & smelled faintly of burnt vodka.
Ganchou's act of daft acrobatics was too much for the old ruin's flooring, & it collapsed without warning from underneath him. Falling a great distance, he would finally hit the bottom of the shadowed shaft, where an eerie silence pervaded. Now & then a drop of water would fall, but it echoed strangely... front, back, left, right, above, then below, hitting all angles that it could bounce sound off of. Around him quartz crystals glowed a very dim yellow colour, & led off to what seemed to be a downhill intersection of various dirt paths. The walls down here were of a much older construction than even the castle itself, & time felt like it was crawling at a slow snail's pace.
Set Daiou 'Siniku' was being gracious up top at the guard's station. [ You have taken great pains to learn a language that we nearly erased from history, all to honor us with it? ] the bewildered Anubis guard gruffed. [ I shall forgive your indisgretion of a name's lie, & present you to my commander for your proposal as we too do not like your enemies. ] Stamping upon the ground to the side of the entrance, a floor tile moved from the base of the stone gate to reveal a well torch-lit staircase spiralling down into the desert.

"[You know what they say... The Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend...]" said Set Daiou [Siniku] as he bowed lowly to the Anubis Guard that had gave him access to the Staircase that was just revealed, "[And thank you for your forgiveness... I hope the next time I come here, I will not have to hide myself.]" he said before walking towards the entrance to the Anubis Guard's Base and after a deep breath took a step inside and take the staircase down into the Desert.
Siniku didn't know exactly how long he walked, he never kept track of that sort of thing anyway, but it seemed like the staircase went on forever. The first part of his plan had worked and he reported that through the Ear Piece he carried, but only got static on it, "I guess the signal can't get out..." he said sighing as he continued to take the Torch lit path.

Floor collapsing was nothing new to Ganchou. As he fell, he reached into his sheath, pulled out his dagger, and tied his wire to it. Leaning until he felt a wall, he clipped the wire to his jacket, jammed the dagger into the stone, and went with the fall. He slowed, and eventually jerked to a halt above the floor. Unclipping, he took survey and shrugged. A dislocated shoulder, nothing too bad, so he winced, tried to pop it back in, and moved on. As he yanked the wire to retrieve his dagger, he noticed the weird quartz crystal about him. That would be troublesome. He tapped one gently with his dagger, while moving towards the dirt paths.

◆◈◆◈◆"My sands will be your end"◆◈◆◈◆
((AandOE: the Iron Sand particles themselves form the perception field. The kagura shingan is not needed for the effects, although they are virtually the same. The Kagura shingan requires me to be standing still, while the iron sand particles is always active once activated. Plus...it grants other itneresting abilities...))
San instantly began relaying information to Howaido about the mice through the bonds golem. Was it possible that the Jashin practice had now prevaded to the wild-life of the Village? THIS especially was not good and possibly Mam would need to be notified.
"Howaido, i have identified a problem. Mice have attacked my change clone, which is currently in the form of a cat. They have odd bones sticking out, and some heads are on upside down. It may be possible the Jashin practice has been pervaded to the animal life in the city. We may need to contact Mam and see if we can get a quarintine if this ends up taking to long. The Desert ecosystem could get destroyed if this is allowed to continue. Move with caution and proceed cautiously from here on out. I think bast is having fun in the warehouse, cause i smell fire and vodka. Im going to continue my path, and figure out what all i can gather. Relay this to the others please."
San mayflied back into the ground, but would appear poping back out of the ceiling on another building, working his way in the blackmarket section. He was really interested in the goods that they where trying to sell, as well as the activity going on here. Could he pick something up that is rather interesting and useful?
On the other side, San's cat clone used its quick agility to pounce backwards into an ally as it changed into a vulture and began to fly into the sky, continuing on its path free of the jashin mice aiming to attack it. More recon, and hopefully more information could be gathered as to the location of more cultists....as well as who all could be infected....

James was tired of hanging out of the action, but walking into the curent situation was suicide. The whole time James had been sitting here in the dune's his village was responsible for he had tinkered with an idea. James dropped back over the side of the dune. He made sure he was out of the view of the city. James then set into his work. He pulled moisture out of the air and used some of his already made ice kunai for material as he formed a long tube. once the tube was perfectly straight he constructed a chamber at the end, and grooves along the inside of the tube. with all of this done, he made a grip and a shoulder pad to hold the weapon steady. After it was all done, He started work on possibly the most important piece. A long cylinder formed, and James focused intensely as he formed the two lenses that would attach to the cylinder and form thew spy glass that would magnify his targets. he fused all of it together, and made sure the ice was flat in texture so that the sun would not reflect off of the weapon. James leaned back over the dunes and surveyed the city with his new lens . Using a little ice he packed down the sand under his barrel so if he fired it would not kick up.
(Ice Valkyrie learned) Chakra:230 (first shot payed for)
James looked over the village through his scope, and scanned for friend and foe alike, Mabye he could find San, or Hawaido and his caravan.

Howaidos father was not so slow to act, though it was unnecessary. He jumped back the elder man with all the strength of young Howaido gave the man a hard blow to the back of the head that would knock him clear unconscious before the sword left his body to attack. "Trying to steal from me now is he!" Howaido was sure to make a nice scene as he rummaged through the mans body it was likely shop keepers would even be enraged slightly and buyers together could cause a small mob. Howaido threw the mans limp body to the crowd as he commandeered all the Jashinists posessions. "Now lets see what money they use?" Under cover of the rioting crowd Howaido and his father left quickly, but not so quick as to be suspicious. "San, its not just the animals, they are everywhere. We have to range out of the stereotype and look for something more effective to track them. Can you identify their chakras and Ill eliminate them?" Howaido meanwhile took the bodies from his cart and charred them beyond recognition, he couldnt risk anything now.

San listened to Howaido and quickly put his friends plan into action. The iron Sand particle field not only gave him the perception field, but it also gave him the ability to use his Iron Sand techniques seemingly from nowhere. He spoke again through the bonds golem to Howaido, conveying some more information.
"I can track them, but i dont know about elliminating them. Remember what happened when you got the blood on you during the forest expiditions? We cant afford that kind of situation right now or attention right now, or else our stealthy insertion and element of surprise will be ruined. We cannot afford to lose that. Continue to move deeper into the city and encampment, and i can Direct you around them to maintain stealth. While down there, gather any kind of information you can about the normal citizens and see if their are any identifying factors of cultists or Jashin activity or infection. We need to rendouves with Gan and Bast to formulate a formation and a activity plan. so continue on your present course."

"Right then," the fact that he had already killed eleven was not something mentionable, no now it was twelve. He continued on his path easily as he rode on his wagon papa Hatake pushing the wagon at a very steady rate. When they reached a seemingly open crowd where they were safe according to San, Howaido hopped on top of his wagon and began to peddle with the fellow marketers. "Weapons, supplies, forbidden scrolls and rare meats galore! All half priced to venders!"

Lucas could hear a mob starting up within the city. Lucas strung together a series of handseals and then used his assimilation jutsu on the sand below him. this would only assimilate to just above his elbow. once done he would then use the multi-particle manipulation to disperse the arm from below the elbow. then using motion manipulation he turned it into a spinning disc. this disc would then fly low across the desert into the city whirling around looking for what was happening. Lucas wasn't one hundred percent sure about how effective this would work but he hoped he'd given enough to gain some perception from it. he would use the disc to secretly fly low through the entrance where he was unlikely to be knoticed as it was simply sand flying through the entrance. once inside the disc would travel around searching for any of the other suna nin. hopefully they would recognize the use of douka and acknolage him as friend. if not he would attempt to prove it to them.

As the luggage had its fun rampaging, Bast returned to Anima and hid out on the wall until the luggage had eaten its fill of the Jashin. Once it had finished, it settled down in to the form of a regular piece of luggage, much to the shock and fear of the Anubis guards. A few silent moments passed and the luggage did not move, prompting Bast to create another person using dust, this time in her image.
The spectral Bast hung in the air before the luggage, which took a moment or two to notice her. As soon as the woman before it was recognized, the luggage hopped back to life and sniffed the air curiously.
"What is Mamoru's favorite thing to eat?" a voice called out of the luggage, one which Bast immediately recognized.
"Er... food?" she responded via the wisp of dust. There was a sigh from the luggage and, if it could have shrugged, that would have been the motion that it made. It stood as if to follow Bast, and within a few minutes, the Jashin of the Southern Gate would be under attack by a strange piece of luggage.
In the midst of all of the commotion, two lizards would slip in to the storeroom there as well.

James scanned over the city with his scope, and made note of the rising flames, and the old man yelling on top of the cart. these seemed like intrest points.
"Lucas, can you spot targets and the others for me with that thing. I would like to be ready if the others need support."

Siniku's path down would abruptly end as sandstone became the major use of building materials. Several torches every few meters would show the way forwards down the sloped incline. After passing a dozen or so torch sites, the corridor widened out to accomodate two people's width, to where a series of wooden doors ran, the closest of which would read 'Commander of the Southern Gate'. On the other side of the door, several guards & a heavily built man sat at a round table. The muscled man did not wear a normal Anubis mask, as its material quality far surpassed those of the guards. Behind him, a small boy fanned the three men with a giant palm leaf.
Ganchou's tapping of the quartz made a gentle tinging sound that slightly reverberated, but otherwise did nothing. At the intersection of dirt paths, Ganchou would hear the sound of running water coming from the eastern path the led away from his approach, see the northern path dip down farther underground, & the southern path climb up sharply to the castle above the ruins. If he went east, he would see more & more quartz show up until he met with an underground river. If he went north, his descent would be slow, & it would arrive at a very large room filled to the brim with sparkles of something. If he went south, his sharp ascent would end at a ladder which would bring him up to one of the doors that Ganchou did not go through at the entrance.
Up atop of one of the higher buildings, a man sat in a shady alcove, chewing upon a load of tobacco. Casually glancing down towards the blackmarket district, he gazed lazily over the tops of the buildings. There wasn't a sign of the recent Sunagakure shinobi on top of the buildings, but he kept watch from his hiding place anyways. Bored with the situation, he formed a Renga's Ice Creation lens out over the blackmarket, & focused it to burn lines across the tops of the buildings. Leaning back further into the darkness of the alcove, he sat confident that noone would surmise why it had suddenly become quite so hot. San, however, would notice as his bird flew about in the sky, or he himself became burnt.
On the way back to the encampment, a tired squad of 5 Jashin ran towards the southern entrance, leaping directly over Lucas & James's hiding spot. Unaware of them, they continued down the slope, slowing as they fumbled about their clothes. Pulling out a tablet for the guards, they retrieved some water as well to quench their thirst when one of them decided to run back up the dune to check for followers. In but a moment's time he would be upon the two genin, surprised that they would be there, but utterly unprepared to defend.
In the blackmarket district, Howaido or San would find a long line of people leading up to a door with the words 'First Come, First Served: 500 Katanga Crosses' signed upon it. There was an obvious activity going on inside, but noone came out the front door that went in, even though the building was clearly not large enough to hold everyone. Every minute or two, three or four people would be let in & then the door would shut tightly. A chakra sensory jutsu would pick up more than several densely packed spots within the multi-storied building, with the larger spots being focused in the top story. Strangily, the spots were growing in intensity, relative to the number of people entering.
