Zeta 9 kept quiet while the others debated and continued to plot. She was mentally weighing up the characteristics of her new found team mates. They were a mixed bunch thats for sure.

It seemed they had finally gained the final idea of a scouting group. Hmm. If she left the tent they had no idea what could face them, but then again, she guessed that she wasnt much better off here anyway.

Survival was the key to what appeared to be a sick and warped game. And there was strength in numbers. Oh screw it, she was just gunna go. Die here or die out there, it was still dieing.

Just as nine was about to leave, she felt that cellphone go off again. Huh? Flicking it open, she was thrown into even more confusion with the addition of apparently life saving pendants. Well, these certainly seemed like a good thing to look for. And a good thing to fight over too.

Returning the phone to it's posistion, the girl proceeded to leave camp.

It felt... surreal. Almost too surreal. Like one of those kind of dreams where you're running down a hallway trying to reach a door, but no matter how much you run the door continues to move further away, not wanting you to reach the answer. When Z2 awoke, that's exactly what he began to search for. The answer.

The answer to where he was, to how he got here, the purpose of the masks and the suits... it was almost as if in his past, if he even had one, he had been to known to be somewhat of a curious person. Maybe someone who was always in search of an answer. A person like that would have to be intellectual, right? There was no point of mulling for the answer now though, since it did not seem like there was any time for it. He found his first answer though when he looked down on his arm to find a letter and a number. He didn't recall his name, so wherever the hell this was, that must be his new name.

Z2 rose up from the cot he had been resting on to find that the people who he had been assigned to be with had already left. They were just going to leave people behind like that? Didn't seem like a smart move, since the point of all of this was to survive and the best way to do that was to stick to the squad. Oh well, he might as well follow them if they hadn't already gotten too far. As Z2 climbed out of bed, his head was reeling. It felt like someone took a blunt object to his head and just a consistent pounding against his skull. Not to mention the claustrophobic feeling of the mask over his face, which just created even more of a discomfort. As he climbed off the cot, he found a cellphone on his body blinking with three new text messages. Messages from who though? The first message basically said what he already knew. The second message... wasn't too reassuring, to say the least. Only 13 survivors? Well, there were 12 members in his squad... wouldn't that mean all of them would survive?

Then it registered in his mind, remembering back to when he had awoken in that classroom. There were more people on the island than he thought there was... holy crap. Well, one thing was for sure, if his squad survived or not he actually didn't care so much since they were just going to leave people behind anyways, as long as HE was one of the 13 people who did make it.

The third message was something that made him even more hopeful that he would survive. Five pendants scattered about the island. If he got his hands on one, then it would totally shift this twisted game in his favor. Might as well get on it then. Z2 made his way over to a table with a one last backpack and first aid kit labeled with Z2, which was probably for him. Picking those up, he made his way to the next table and found a multitude of weapons... was he going to have to fight? Z2 felt as if he was more brain over brawn... certainly whoever had planned all this out must be some sort of demented genius that took pleasure in watching people die, but Z2 sure wasn't going to give up easily. It was a game of survival, right? Well then, survive he shall. Picking up what he thought was a handgun he made his way out of the tent to hopefully catch up with the others. If not, guess he was just on his own.

Her phone buzzed again as she swung her nunchucks about. Eyes scanned the message and her eyebrow raised behind her mask again.

"Something tells me that people will kill for the pendants..." she said softly to herself. Zeta One pondered this for a few minutes, debating her choices. She could go see where everyone else had gone, or decide to go off on her own.

Her head tilited to the side as she thought about it. She really wanted one of those pendants....

With a shrug Zeta One decided to go find the rest of the people around. If nothing else, she'd have someone to bandage her up if she hit herself one too many times with her sticks.

Which seemed incredibly likely that it would happen.

[Zeta Eleven is entering the home base. Don't mind me, just picking up a few things.]

If Zeta Eleven was going to form a new alliance, he realized he needed direction, a sense of purpose. Of course, every location on the island was obviously wrought with equal danger, so setting out for a specific one would be no different than if he had just spun himself around five times and started walking. But knowledge was comfort, and having a solid idea of where he was headed gave him the false sense that he was in control of something. Anything.

But as he looked over the tent's single map, he realized a much more pressing matter was at hand. If he was going to make a new team, he needed a new team name. And not just any team name, but a name that would strike the fear of God into all who heard it... Though perhaps peoples' faith in that particular higher power were wavering somewhat on an island full of unholy monsters and fellow humans trying to kill them. Still, the Justice League wasn't just called "Superman and Some Dudes."

Hm. Team Zeta. Wait, no, that was already taken. Team Righteous Fury. Enh. Team Edward. Why did that one make him want to vomit? Team Odyssey Dawn. No. What kind of jackass would name anything that? Zeta Eleven and the Elevenettes. Team Alpha Seven is a Big Jerk. Team We Didn't Start This Fire.

Hm. Maybe this was going to be harder than he thought.

{Zeta 12 is entering from hiding}

A path. Where would it lead? Zeta 12 needed a safe place for himself and his new partner to go. They had banded together, clinging to hope, clinging to their humanity.

Z12 entered the tent, spotting the other Zeta immediately. Would this cause problems? He and Z2 had banded together because they felt they could only trust one another. What to do?
He swallowed hard, and fully entered the ten, looking over the map. He needed to say something..

"Hey.." He greeted Z11 with a small wave of his hand. There. Yes. Friendly.

Now then. Destination. He waited for Z2 to enter so they could talk about strategy.

Z2 is entering Zeta camp.

As the two headed along the path, they finally made it back into their base camp. Z2 entered the tent alongside Z12 and spotted another one of their members already there. He had never met him before, but gave him a small wave to acknowledge his presence.

"So what's our course of action, do you think?" Z2 asked his partner. "I mean... we have no idea how many more people are out there yet. We know for sure right now that two are dead. I'm wondering how many others have died not including this area..." Z2 thought about it for a moment and made a rough estimate, "I would have to say that at least one or two people have died in the other areas. How many people are on this island, anyway? It would make most sense to head to the place where most people have died, then we can hide out there."

Z12 stared down at the map as he listened to Z2. The logic seemed sound enough. "So.. hmm. No way to tell really.." How would he know where to look for a place that looked like it may have been the grave marker of the other islanders?

"I guess high up places are out. I figure thats where everyone would wanna be, to keep look out. Too big of a beacon. The town might be good.. Cornfield would have some cover." Z12 rubbed his head.. or tried to, forgetting there was a helmet there. Whatever choice he made, it was all on him if it failed. He had to think carefully.
"Okay. Let's head to the town. We could baracade ourselves in a house or something. Sound good?"

Team Rolling Stones. Team Team. Team The 1972 Miami Dolphins. Team Alphanumeric. Team...

Wait. That was it. How could he have not seen it before? It made so much sense! The perfect name for his perfect squadron. A name that conveyed power, awe, and maybe just a dash of magic. From henceforth, Zeta Eleven and his future allies would be known only as...

TEAM PHOENIX!

...

No, that was stupid. Team names were stupid. This island was stupid. He grumbled to himself, turning away from the map and not bothering to return either Twelve or Two's greeting. Abandoned town? Great. That sounded as nice of a place to die as anywhere else. Him? He was headed for the cornfields. Where there was vegetation, there was life. That had to be a good omen, right?

If Eleven fancied himself the leader of a new alliance, maybe he was going to have to work on his morale skills.

[Eleven is exiting the base without even saying goodbye to his teammates. He's really a nice guy when you get to know him...]

Zeta 12 watched as Z11 left without so much as a Hello or Goodbye. Well, at least there was no confrontation. Z12`s worries about whether or not he was trust worthy were put to rest, knowing he didn't have to deal with him immediately.

There was a small vibration. The cell phone. What cryptic news did it have now? Z12 flipped open the device to learn it was now the second day. Five more to go, huh? One was enough. He sighed and put away his cell.
"I really want to get moving soon. Let's head out." He turned towards the exit of the tent, looking out at the somewhat visible path.
It did'n't really matter what road they took, misfortune was bound to meet them.

{Zeta 12 is leaving the tent, and heading towards the travelling path}

Z2 watched as Z12 left the tent and ran to go catch up with him, "There he goes again running off..." he sighed as he followed him down the tent and down the path that led to their destination... wherever that might be.

((Entering from "Ready to Rumble~"))

Eta VII cautiously poked her head in, and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw no one inside. She stepped through and started looking around. She didn't even think to look at the tables at first; her squad had definitely cleaned those quickly. Poking around the cots didn't yield anything useful, though. Clearly the squad from this tent had all left, and taken their things with them.

She turned, about to tell Delta 1 that there wasn't anything worth snagging, when she noticed that one of the tables did have something on it. "Delta I, look! This squad didn't take their map with them." Not a jackpot, but they'd definitely wanted a map!

((Entering from Ready to Rumble))
Delta One, following Eta Seven closely behind into the tent, began to search with her, overturning cots, scouring the floor.
Her head shot up and looked over to the table when Eta Seven mentioned the map.
"Well, better then.."
beep-beep
"Raaaaaaaarrr!" She growled in frustration as she yanked up her cell phone to read the newest message. A test? You know what...why the hell not. The last 'task' that was texted, somebody ended up walking away with TWO pendants. She turned her head to Eta Seven.
"Grab the map. I'm doing this 'test'. If you want to come along, great, but if you don't...I understand why you'd want to stay. If I come back alive, and you didn't follow me...I will try and find you again, I guess." And then, shouting out the tent at Delta Eight, she told him the same thing. Then, with a smirk, she hit the reply button.
With that, Delta One was just...gone.

Eta VII pulled out her own cell phone, and read the message. Another test? Delta I was right, though, these things seemed to be how you got a pendant, which ultimately meant how you survived this whole mess. And besides, she was left here now with just that other Delta, who seemed to just follow and not do much else; really not much use. Which meant that Eta VII really out to join in, if it wasn't too late. Still, that map... She walked over, grabbing it off the table and sticking it in her bag. Then she walked back out of the tent to give a heads-up to the one other member of their group before pressing the button and joining Delta I.

(Entering from Ready to Rumble)
Delta Eight had finally made it to the Zeta tent/camp. He'd been working his way here since Eta Seven had left him on the beach. Now to find the map and wait for the other two.

He'd decided, while on his way here, that he would stick with the other two. He could trust them both, so he would trust the two until they gave him a reason not to. He was just hoping he was lucky enough to survive this, though he did know what would happen if more than 13 survived. But what if all you had to do, to survive if that happened, was touch a pendant? Could that be true? It was all confusing and unclear. he disliked this island and being here, wouldn't it be nice if he could swim away from here or make a raft of some sort? Though he really didn't know where he could go from here, so the point wasn't worth it.

"I do hope they both survive that test they went on." He hadn't gone on that test. He had a feeling that luck would not be with him, and he may not make it. While it would have been a good way to get a pendant, he didn't think it would wind up so good for him.
