A higher viewpoint. That seemed like the best idea she'd heard since waking. "There must be structures around here somewhere," ε XI said, walking up behind ε VII. "Something like a farmhouse, if it has a second story. And maybe we'll... find others along the way." Though she wasn't sure that was a good idea and it was audible in her voice. She didn't think she was ready to encounter anyone this early on.
But she wasn't about to lay down either. "We should move in small groups. No one should ever be alone, if we're to survive as a team."

[Team member ε V is currently in the base tent] A vibration rung at his hip as ε V rolled over his hand swatting some sort of imaginary bug of sorts, "mhhmmm bugghh iii ddonnn wwhhaaa tthheeee hhhhhlllllllllll." Reaching he grabbed the phone and hit a few buttons, looking at he realized that his sight was nothing more but a wash of pink. He tried to yell but the mask gave nothing more than a mumble in return as he started to recall the only other memory he had. A classroom filled with others, however when he looked around the tent there appeared to be less students than there was earlier or at least he thought. He couldn't exactly remember much from the whole lecture however what he could recall it was something about doing this on his own will and that if he tried to remove the mask he would explode. No matter how much he tried he couldn't recall anything else beyond that not that it was going to help him at the moment. He noticed he was one of the slower ones others were already up and picking up medic kits and weapons from various tables in the pink shade of the tent.
Looking back at the message he realized what sort of mess he was in, looking around he wondered if he was supposed to kill the members that he was looking at in the tent however it seemed that there was less than thirteen currently. Yet he was late in waking up so there was chances of others more especially those in the same colored pink who were not there at the moment. Nevertheless he felt a sort of urgency to quickly pick up his gear he didn't want to be the sort of guy on the short end of the stick with nothing more than a trash can lid to defend himself. Heading to the table he realized that each were labeled with a number, tapping his googles the number ε V showed up from another member's hand, great he only hoped his gear was decent so much for trying to snatch the better one huh.
[ε V rolled for weapon.]

E-Eight's head slowly turned to watch the newly awaken team members run around and try to get their bearings. He did have to admit though, he would rather knock E-Ten back out and throw her in a coma rather than have her run around with the rest of them. With a voice and nature like hers she would be more of a risk than anything. However, maybe she would make for good entertainment.
Growling behind his mask, his grip on E-Four tightened at E-Ten's yelling. Or maybe he would do the other teams a favor and off her himself.
"If we are sending people out to find a vantage point that the rest of us can go to then it is obvious map girl and her medic have to go, since map girl has the map, and she can't go anywhere without the medic since she protect the medic. Then that would mean one other, or two other people have to go with them for protection."
He couldn't help but bit back a smirk at the thought, his grip on Four getting ever tighter. "I vote me and the lovely over here."

E-Ten snorted at...who was that? Thirteen? "Yeah, there's no way I'm letting myself die." She was not some pansy who would just let that happen to herself. If thirteen of them were living and the rest had to die then...the fine! As long as she was one of them. She'd need friends though. Friends that would help her stay alive. But wait, if there were thirteen of them already then who else did they have to fight? Were there other groups out there? She wasn't sure if she could kill anyone, but she'd rather not die herself...
She liked the idea of small groups. "Sounds good to me! What've we got in terms of fire power and stuff? We all have med-kits, right?" Maybe if she got herself thinking this was a game..it wouldn't be so bad.

ε XI shrugged, a odd movement, considering the bulkiness of the armor, it might have looked more like she was just shifting it. "The map doesn't really do us much good anyway." As simple as it was, she could close her eyes and see it even now. "And besides, it might be best if we send out more than one group and start in opposite directions."

He couldn't help but roll his eyes at the statement. The map was given for a reason, and whatever that reason may be they would have to work it out. All the items they were given obviously have a purpose, even if they may seem useless at first.
"It might not give us exact coordinates or anything too specific, but at least it gives us the general directions of where all these places are, and that is better than nothing, right? At least that will be enough to keep us from wandering around like complete morons. As long as we can find out where one of these other landmarks are, than we can guess where the others lie and figure out our bearings."

Go out and find a vantage point? ε XII gulped. Going out into the cornfield was unknown. It wasn’t safe; there could be anything out there. But then again, the pink tent certainly wasn’t safe if there were other bands of people out there. A smaller group of people could travel more quickly and more silently. If her efforts outside helped bring the group to safety, well, maybe they would try to protect her all the harder.
“O-okay, I’ll go.” ε XII went to move beside ε III, to take up her proper place as protector (and patient!) of the healer.
Now it was just a matter of exiting the tent.
They were really going to do this, weren’t they?

Groups, yes. Opposite directions? Like..what? Like how one combed out with a group and spread out to cover all possible directions? That sounded good. But did she really want to leave this tent? Home base was supposed to be the safe house! Or something. She glanced over toward..X...II...okay math said that waaaas twelve? And that was three she was near. Okay. "Are we going to cover all the grounds then? We could start in like..one place and then branch out." If that made any sense.

ε XI nodded at ε X's question. "Something like that."
She opened the flap of the tent and surveyed the immediate area. It was foggy, which would create a serious problem. They really would have to fan out. A compass might be nice in a situation like this. Or even moss on trees. But in a place like this, it would be easy to get turned around and lost.
"Maybe if we bend the stalks of some of the corn down, so we know where we've been," she brainstormed aloud. "Like a breadcrumb trail, only less likely to be destroyed."

Nunchucks sweet, ε V thought as he tucked them back into his bag, picking up a medic kit he looked around looking at the other various numbers of his group. Noting that a few of the other males, or so he assumed were males had taken off their pink robe he felt a bit out of place. Peeling his off and rolling it up in a sort of nonchalant attitude he tucked it away in his bag not sure of where else to put it. Truthfully the downside with being one of the later ones up he was rather out of the loop of what was going on. A few of them seemed to be doing nothing more than arguing with one another as if trying to figure out some sort of strategy of how to handle their current state. One male seemed rather intent of not letting go of another member's arm another seemed to be rather sure that whatever piece of paper of a map she was holding was nothing more than a disappointment.
He wasn't sure if he should just tap someone on the shoulder and try to see what was going on or if standing there rather stupefied however the glimpse of the corn fields caught his eye. Immediately the thought of banjos started to play in his mind great so now he was in the land of pink in the middle of the corn fields told to survivor in a total span of a week and to dispose of everyone but thirteen members. He could only hope at this moment that it wouldn't get any worse than it already was that was until someone said something about going out in groups. That would mean he would be stuck in a smaller group to wander around a field and hope that one of his own team members in a bit of a panic wouldn't stab him in the back. On the brighter side it was better than sitting around in a pink tent waiting on the seven day, that was if others weren't nearby and well a pink tent in the middle of the cornfield screamed kill me please.
"I'll go scout," ε V replied unsure of who else had volunteered.

ε VII watched as everyone seemed to like the idea. He stood there hands behind his back wondering which group he should go with. His brow lofted. "That's an interesting idea."
He wondered if there was another way besides having compass tools to navigate. However the fog seemed rather thick laying near the ground. "Should we meet back here?" He shifted uneasily wondering if one of the groups found their way around, how would the others know which way to go.

At first, E-Eight's taunting words had startled her. After that, however, the girl's fear immediately vanished and made way for irritation. "Of course I'm not scared!" she barked, cringing at the way her voice quavered slightly, "I don't mind going out to scout at all, and I certainly don't need your company! ...And get your hand off of my shoulder!"
Before she could growl at him any more, her attention was diverted with the awakening of some of the other members. She was caught between amusement and irritation for one of their newly awakened allies--and X marked the side of her mask--finding that she seemed both refreshingly as well as inappropriately cheerful considering the circumstances. "Children of the corn..." she repeated under her breath, letting out a soft snort.
E-Four suddenly cringed when the pressure on her shoulder tightened, and she jerked her head around to face E-Eight. "Hey you, do me a favour and let go!" She began to wrench herself out of his grip, only to twitch at his suggestion that he accompany her and the others. And...wait, did he really just call her lovely? Really? She couldn't help but let out a short laugh. "Well well, you have a thing for gas-masks, huh?"
Okay, snarky joking aside, this was a serious situation. Her gaze flickered towards E-Seven at his question, and a frown spread across her lips. "Good question. I don't know if there's anywhere else we could meet, but I'm not sure how safe it would be if we all gathered back in here. If we manage to do this quick, then maybe, but otherwise another team might happen to pass through and..." she trailed off then, shuddering slightly. What an easy target they would be, all conveniently bunched together in one tent.

"It's going to be hard to be any kind of stealthy in these colors." ε I remarked. "Maybe we should find a way to obscure them? Like rub dirt on our clothes?"
ε I was really, really hoping her group would stick together. She'd been thinking over their situation quietly, contemplating her dagger, and attempting to come to terms with the fact that she might have to kill someone. She still didn't want to. But if it came down to it... She'd do what needed to be done. And there would definitely be strength in numbers. It one of the other groups tried to go after them, and they were divided into little bickering groups, they'd be doomed. Best to try and work with everyone else. Even if a couple of people in her group were starting to get on her nerves.
Being careful not to stick herself, she tucked the dagger into her belt, and picked up one of the first aid kits that were obviously meant for them. She stowed it away in her backpack, and stepped toward the group.
"I'll go scout, too. I'd like to see more of this cornfield."

Bend the corn stalks? But how would they know where to go if they did that? Some could just be bent, and then they'd have to stumble across the corn stalks anyway because if this was a corn field there'd be so many of them! Augh! E-Ten walked over to the tent's opening and peeked outside, grimacing under her gas mask. That was a lot of corn. "I dunno, guys...it'd take a lot of bent corn." She told Eleven, sighing and letting go of the tent flap. People were volunteering to scout. Were they going alone? Don't go alone! Bring...something...how did that end again?
Whatever! The point was they needed to organize, which they seemed to be doing just fine. "I'll be a scout too! Sounds fun! But gathering at a bright pink tent dressed in bright pink armor doesn't sound like a good idea. Maybe we could make, like, a secret calling signal to let each other know we're on the same team? So we can meet up? The map says there's a path...we could meet near there?"

ε III listened as the group continued talking about where and who would go. And then ε VIII seemed to volunteer her for scouting. Looking up as he spoke of the 'medic' and her 'protector', ε III saw that the girl he'd put his arm around didn't really seem to appreciate his action. And then he volunteered to go with and drag the poor girl along. ε III wasn't sure how effective of a group it would be if the three girls and ε VIII were stuck together.
ε III did know that she'd take ε XII with her. The girl was one of the best allies ε III could have hoped for so far. If only she could find more people she could trust to act as her protectors...
"Bending the stalks could be a good idea...we do need someway to find our path back to the tent if the fog rolls in." ε III said, nodding to agree with ε XI's suggestion.
Then, one of the boys who'd just awoken and aquired what looked like nun-chucks volunteered. She flagged him and said, "I can fill you in if you'd like. Also, you can accompany us if you'd like to." She said, then gave a slight head-tilt and offered a hand. "You may call me ε III. I'm the self-proclaimed medic of this group. You are ε V?" She said with a nod. He seemed like a potential protector. She wanted him in her scouting group.
The first girl, ε I, volunteered to go scouting too. And another, one she didn't really know. "It seemed we have enough for...two groups or so? How long should we go out for?" ε III questioned in general, wanting to know what her group thought.
