Four wasn't all that against violence, she had been the first one to advocate for killing the others before they were killed themselves. There was just a difference between attacking and defending, but as she had already figured out there were benefits to being the attacker.

She nodded at Nine's words. "Alright, hopefully the other's will wake up soon." She looked to the unconscious bodies, then back at Nine thinking of something. "Oh, what weapon did you get? I have a dagger." She gestured the the dagger in her belt. She was curious as to what the other packs held as well, but she didn't think pilfering them would go over very well.

XI decided it be wise to go through that pack. Now that he was situated in his own little area, he crossed his legs, rather neatly, and pulled the thing in front of him. First thing that he noticed was a cellphone. Gazing at the message, Eleven's frown deepened, "....This...isn't good." His voice was soft, small, and his hands maneuvered the device. Damn....only 13. Only thirteen of them would live to the end of this. Well, Eleven didn't like the idea that some of them had to die. Loner or not, he'd give his 'team' (as he supposed they were) his assistance.

Shivering a bit at the thought, he pulled a weapon out of his bag. A gun? What? Turning it over and over in his hand, he studied it, carefully. He guessed this was his means of defense....but....he didn't want to shoot anyone here. Not yet at least. They'd done nothing to upset him.

((y V entering))
xxxxxIt looked like gamma five had finally woken up. Not gracefully, like some of the other members of her squadron. Not as early as some of the members either. No, Five had taken this particular moment to fall out of her bed. Fall straight onto the ground, gas mask and all. Well she had always been a heavy sleeper, but it seemed the anesthetic drug she had been given hadn't helped either. Was it anesthetic drugs? Five couldn't even remember how she had gotten here, much less where she was when she had knocked out.

xxxxxHer thoughts rushed, as anyone's would, as she went flying towards the ground. Screaming, she thought some blanket or cloth had covered her face, only to discover a gas mask had been placed over her head. Much as she tried to remove it, nothing seemed to work. Five glanced down at her body, for anymore abnormalities, and found a plethora; some odd boots and gloves had been place on her hands, a strange breastplate had been fastened to her chest, and other light cloth armor pieces were attached to her. All of them lustered with a light olive sheen, and on top of her head were green goggle eyepieces.

xxxxxLooking around she gazed worriedly at all of the older people who seemed to be talking and running around ... well at the moment they were simply looking at a map. A handful of soldiers still seemed to be sleeping, dormant and crystallized with dozing off. Somehow, looking at the situation before her, Five almost wished she was back asleep, with no knowledge of her capture. Timidly, she said, "Wh-where ... what ... where am I?" It started as nothing more than a whisper, but quickly grew to a worried shout. Something in her pocket buzzed and she read the message. Thirteen people will live? she thought.

xxxxxSuddenly she didn't long for sleep anymore.

G6 wasn't willing to stick around the camp for too long. She was far too interested in what was going on outside the dull and lifeless perimeter they called base. She looked around to the others and let out an exasperated sigh. It seemed so frugal to be wiped up together and thrown about like this but... she'd have to work with it. For now, she took her mace and bag and began to leave the base confides to venture about the locations on the map.

"I'm Seven." He introduced himself when he had to.

Seven had watched the group sort out what was going on; he would have added to it if he could, but the overwhelming discomfort from the mask and armour was getting in his way. Not to mention, the longer he was conscious the more he started to feel that his mouth was feeling incredibly dry and something in his chest was staring to feel tighter; he didn't need to drink nor was he overextering himself, but it was becoming increasingly clear he needed something.

Biting the inside of his cheek, he brought a hand up to try touching his mouth; an action that was put to a quick stop with the end of his mask. Well, damn.

He missed his chance to go after those who wanted to scout, but he didn't mind lagging behind to try and help - Four, was it? - with those who were going to wake up. Which was good, because as the odd sensations in his body were retreating for the moment, another one woke up; Five.

"We're at the base camp." He said slowly, letting it sink in. He was sure that Five would think to check out the bag shortly. "A bunch of our group went ahead to scout; I think once everyone's awake, we should all get the ******** out of dodge."

He was still rolling the dagger from one hand to the other.

yII returning to base

To be honest, yII was a little disappointed with that scouting run, but there wasn't a whole lot that could be done. As yXII had said, they still learned more than what they would have if they stayed in. Letting out a breath, he looked on around the tent, seeing a few more people awake now. He went on and put away his weapon in the meantime as he hoped he wouldn't have to use it soon.

"Gamma Two here," he said for those who hadn't caught his number the first time around. He refused to acknowledge that it was a name. It wasn't. It was just a temporary identity. At least... that was what he hoped.

Gamma 8 returning to base

It was a bit of a shock, to see everyone awake upon their return. It was comforting, too. There were people everywhere, all in the same situation. Thirteen, thirteen, only thirteen...

"Gamma Eight," she said, staying beside 1 and nearby 12. She felt... almost safe. Almost. "We didn't find much, but there is another team's base nearby, in the fog."

“Gamma Three,” the woman said, tucking her gun into her boots and crossing her arms over her chest. “I see we're still waiting on some. Well, only one thing to be done about that.”

And that was when Three took to walking around the tent, kicking whatever remaining cots still held sleeping bodies, “GET UP ********. WE'RE ALL ON LOST. I AM NOT KATE.

Gamma 12 has returned to base
When 12 stepped it, it appeared that their group had gotten a few more woken members and that introductions were being made, the young woman stepping out of the way of the flap of the tent (in case of rages) and sighing.

"Gamma 12." she said, before motioning towards the flap of the tent. "It's foggy as all living hell out there. Hard to see, so we can't move too far from the camp at this point. If it lifts up, we'll have to decide if we want to make another round or not. I am suspicious of how close they've put our groups together, however."

Part of her was considering packing up the tent completely and hiding it somewhere. But that wouldn't be safe at the moment..and they didn't know what was out in the fog.

Eleven glanced up as many of his team came back. Speaking up softly, he glanced down but a moment, "....Eleven..." His voice was still very quiet, nigh on a whisper, barely audible to anyone. He wasn't much a people person. Honestly, he didn't even know why he might be here. Whoever all these people were, they had no correlation to him, as far as he knew. Other than the fact that they all seemed stuck in this together. Adjusting his mask again, he took a slow, deep breath, closing his eyes, "Gamma Eleven."

"Also, we're in the abandoned town area of the island. Northside," he added before moving his head away from Three as she came in and started shouting. With her going off like that, he barely heard yXI's introduction.

"Easy, Three," he said. Though, a boot camp mentality might not hurt them here. At the same time, he wasn't sure if being rough was the best idea at the moment.

"We can't get far with all the fog, but once it clears up we should probably move out. The question is... where?"
PostPosted: Sat Apr 02, 2011 4:28 pm

"I'm not sure any place is safe," 8 suddenly piped, hugging herself at the outskirts of the group, "They've put at least two of us in this town, I'm sure the other areas have teams as well. The point, I think, is to survive and make sure you're only one of... thirteen."

She shifted a bit awkwardly and drew her wooden stake.

"We'll be safest in small groups. Stealth is the key. I'm sure everyone gets weapons. If... if you can call them weapons."

"Still Seven." Seven confirmed with a nod. He watched Three go around to try and get the others up; Lost? Kate? What the eff? Shrugging, he then looked at the rest of the group as they came back. Wow, that much fog, really?

Okay, he had to see this.

"Really, that bad?" Moving to where the group had come from, he peered outside, just to see for himself. That was, of course, when he realized that there was something moving out there.

"Hey!" He murmured out harshly, turning to look at whomever was closest to him. "I think they're out there right now." Really, he could only assume it was the other team...who else could it be? "Anyone want to come with me and say Hi?" They couldn't see it, but behind the mask he was grinning; survival was the key, so it was good to figure out who the enemies were.

Pausing at Seven's words, he turned towards him and the door in general. The idea of the enemy being out and about was a little unnerving. His hand shifted over to his waist where his handgun rested.

"Well, it might not be a bad idea to see just who we're facing in this mess," he said. They might get an inkling of the type of people were out there and how hostile they could be.

"Don't go out alone. If they're hostile and there's more than one... you probably won't stand a great chance."

"Especially if they have the same plan of 'keep our own' alive." 12 agreed, sitting down and wishing, once again, she could peel the mask off of her face. She was in an outfit that was way too hot to be reasonable. It was just..hnnnggghhh.

She wanted it off. At some point in time, hopefully before the week was over, she'd have to look for a chance to peel it all off and cool off her body...safely. If she didn't, well...she was going to be -rank- by the end of the week.
