OH NO! THIS HAD TO BE A DREAM! CHRISTOF WAS REAL CAUSE HE GOT A HUG BACK!!!!

The kepie wanted to just die there to know he was hallucinating, and continued to hug just because he didn't care if he was going insane. Still, after a hug back and a pat to his back, Calder still felt this was all real, and once pried, looked at Christof with the biggest smile and largest eyes he could muster.

Chrsitof hugged him. Sure, Calder started it first, but HE WASN'T SHOVED OFF!

TO JACK IF HE WAS GOING CRAZY! This was a moment in friendship history!

Sitting there on his own little cloud, Calder watched everyone make decisions as he slowly stood up, offering his hand to help his bud, best buddy, BFF FOR EVERS, up.

As he did, he glanced at the... "El-a-vader?" What the heck was an El-a-vader?

Oh bleh, this place was small, cramped, smelled bad and had... people in it! Good, finally, someone else to speak to. Most of the time, thought, Carthusia was busy trying to find out more information - she wanted to know if the cloaked creepers were involved in this, and if so, to what extent. The notes outside and on the floor were smudged, but it told of someone being lost. What was this all about? She wished she had the power to fix the ink to be able to read all this. Carry tried to keep a mental note of the contents and continued onward, speaking to Siddie while keeping an eye out for other people she brushed by. "I can kind of see people but... looks like a bunch of students. We must all be looking for the same thing..." she whispered quietly, not wanting to scare anyone with some sudden noise. At least they could stand up in here, though the lighting was poor.

"What's that?" The demoness pointed to the elevator. One would think that important things would be kept deep below ground, and this placed reeked of laboratory. Perhaps some more information was kept in the lower levels? Carthusia was determined, and trying the elevator may or may not have been a good idea. She walked up to it to investigate. "Do you suppose it still works, Siddie?" If it did, maybe they could get to the bottom of this mystery (ba-dum ch.)

Christof wobbled to his feet with Calder's help, stiffening as Carthusia and Siddie approached the elevator door as well, his brows raised anxiously as though worried these were more attackers- but no. No. Just more students. Unfamiliar students, but hopefully one of their group could vouch for them not being enemies, right? Don't hit first, was his internal mantra as he scooped up his flashlight to shine it on them and the elevator door.

He was glad Calder seemed in good spirits... but he himself was not sure what to make of the odd doors and glowing lights.

"I'm glad you asked that," Barth said, smiling for what must have been the first time on the island.

"It is a very convenient Labor Saving Device, that travels vertically. At the push of a button. No climbing whatsoever. ...Ah, hello Carry. I err, thought you had gotten dragged off. And had your skull made into a trophy. Err, managed to get out of it though, I see?"

"Must be. I wonder if they've had any luck." Siddie followed Carry over to the elevator, glancing briefly at the stairs and deciding quickly that she did not particularly want to take that route. It was an irrational unease, but she had little enough to judge by, and she didn't care to stay here, either.

"Dark only knows," she said; as they got closer to the elevator, she heard Barth mention a lit button in the elevator. "I guess if it's lit there's some kind of power to it," she said dubiously. A quick glance back along the flickering hall, at the creepy stairs and ruined rooms, and she shrugged and stepped into the elevator. "Look on the bright side? It's not falling down the moment I got into it ... anybody else coming?"

Calder looked to Barth and back to the elevator, and then back to Barth. "It looks like a small box. What does it do again?" The demon had used some rather big words and while Calder might have pretended to know what they were at other times and just gone with everyone else, he wasn't in the mood for surprises now.

"Why are we going in a box?" A small box that people stood in. There were no doors there. How did they go anywhere.

Christof tensed, eyes narrowing at the shadowy ghoul that seemed to bleed from the darkness around them. He didn't like this. Getting in a small seemingly magical Barth-endorsed box with a pair of strangers... let alone one with... such nice... Parts and... his eyes darted away from the demoness, before nervously following his Master into the elevator, sidling to put himself between them with a flush.

Barth, happily on the elevator, waited for the others. And for somebody else to push the button.

"It's suspended from thick wires. It's a mechanism. Very safe. Usually. Not sure about the older models."

The hallway lights flickered pointedly. But the alternative was walking, and threatened with horrible death vs. a long walk...well, Barth was not very fond of walking.

Calder watched as his friends stepped inside the metal box. The metal box that was supposed to move. Barth was smart and knew these sort of things, but Calder was hesitant. Small spaces and natural instincts told him know, but being alone and wanting to be with his friends told him yes. He tapped a hoof on the ground in thought, looking around the darkness and then back at the filled elevator.

Reaching down, he picked up the flashlight he dropped to hug his friends and called out. "Israfel! You be safe!" He worried about the little siren. What would happen to him? Would he be alone?

Feeling guilty, he moved into the metal box slowly, tapping it with his hooves before he finally stepped into the elevator. He stood there, looking around and then his ears dropped when he heard some creaking overhead. "Do Elevators do that?" He whispered, worried again. There was so little space in here.

Pocketing the note, Israfel watched his friends...? Yes.
They were his friends.
He watched his friend gather into the box. "....." He felt a touch alone but- "I-...I think I'll take the stairs. The box is a box. A box is just another cage." He shuddered. "I'll just take the stairs. Se you further down?"

When the black dog responded to her she smiled with glee. At least he remembered her name. Not that she thought he was forgetful or anything, she was just happy to be remembered by anybody. She gave him a little wave and looked around. This place was odd that's for sure.

Whisper had to decide where she wanted to go, everyone seemed to be splitting up. She didn't like the thought of the elevator, so she knew she wasn't going that way. The stairs....well they seemed unreliable at best. What if she fell through them? That would be very dangerous. So she decided to take the lesser of the three evils and explore the rooms.

"BD, do you want to come with? I know I'd sure like to go with you, and I'm sure Tybalt wouldn't mind the extra company."

Tsetsiliya descended the ladder at a slow pace, content to take her time and focus on not looking down. She thanked Jack that she had worn (or been forced to wear, rather) sensible heels, but even so they were inconvenient for climbing down the rope rungs. Luckily the descent did not take very long, and once at the bottom she moved out of the way for the others above her and took a look around the room.

Carthusia was heading towards the elevators with another ghoul, and Tsetsiliya felt inclined to follow the pride demon. After all, she had felt immensely guilty for getting lost in the fog and being unable to help her earlier. Reason told her that she should probably stay with the group she had arrived with, but with a casing of the area behind her, there was no sight of them. Panic arose within her. Where had they gone? Her head whipped this way and that for a sign of them, but nothing turned them up in the darkness.

Instead, she rushed over towards where Carry and a bunch of other students were boarding the elevator. It was going to be a tight squeeze but being alone on this island was not appealing to her in the least (not after dealing with the fog, and that was with a group). She muttered a stuttered apology to a kelpie boil as she entered the elevator, choosing to stand near the back, eyes nervously downcast. The resounding creak that said boil had pointed out set her hands quaking again.

Oh for Jack's sake, why had she picked the elevator?

Christof had just leaned in to take a good, attempted subtle sniff of Carthusia's hair when another ghoul slipped into the overcrowded box. He was about to sidle back, hoping to not be noticed inches from the lovely demon flesh but at the sight of those robes and pale skin... his brows furrowed. It had been a long time- Miss Tsetsiliya! It was odd, being in such an insane, strange place where every turn was unfamiliar and you distrusted everything to see something so oddly familiar. He hadn't crossed paths with the nice demoness since... well, the moment he had arrived at the school.

Gently, he reached to pat her arm, hoping he got her attention before giving a small wave. Suddenly, he was feeling very self conscious about having lost his shirt and vest in the ship wreck, pressed so closely with so many lovely ghouls. Flushing, he shifted his pack to try to at least cover up his autopsy stitches and the red curls of Riley's mark across his chest.

Having been completely distracted by the voices currently speaking to her (the ones not in the room or that had a physical manifestation currently) Belladonna blinked once, slowly and turned to the group. She had spent the duration climbing down the latter and took a few faltering steps through the darkness, hearing another voice she didn't recognize.

"I shall join on this journey, yes." Belladonna told Ren, any sort of humor worn too thin already so she missed the joke he was trying for. "You look rather hurt, dear. What happened?" It might be rude to ask so soon (his injuries did look rather fresh) but she was also too curious about this island to ask. She had only seen one person attacked... And speaking of. "Oh! Daisuke... Oh, I hope you're alright..." She murmured, her mind trying to remember whether or not he had actually come on the trip or not. Had he disappeared into the fog or had she run away? It had seemed so long ago. Ugh!

"Whisper! I'm glad you're ok too..." Belladonna waited for the others disperese, her hands reaching out to grab the girl's arm. "I'll come with you too. Into the rooms. That sounds good. We can follow Ren and Sir Gabrian and Miss LW and Um, Miss Bunny. Yes." Well, she had kind of met Gabrian and LW in minipet training, but Alessa was... In Krumm Car right? Oh, it was too confusing.
"Be careful Siliya!" The witch instructed the girl, giving her a quick hug. "If you need me, just shout. I'll come running." With fists flying, probably. With that, Belladonna took hold of Whisper's arm again and went to explore the rooms with the others.

Tybalt continued to wander off down the hallway; inspecting each and every room as he passed with little success. Surprisingly the place wasn't a complete dump. In fact, it was all pretty tidy save for one flipped table... Making the black dog wonder who did it and for what purpose. Though it wasn't until he got to the ladies room that he froze in spot.

"Uhhhh... s**t..." He stared at the door. The symbol clearly reading 'woman.'

"........."

Abandoned or no, should he go in the ladies room...? Was he even aloud to enter? Wasn't it like... some unwritten code for boil's to enter a ghoul's bathroom? He wasn't sure... but...

"........."

"Ah the hell with it!" He finally said, pushing the door open to reveal an oddly clean washroom. Though why it was so clean, he couldn't say. There was no sign of anyone who could keep it clean and aside from that... weren't bathrooms usually dirty? Or was that just the boil's room..?
