Another one!? And so soon!? And this one attacked Lizzy!? Petro nearly threw himself at the attacker, but he remembered that the pink-haired ghoul could fend for herself very well if the events behind the Yellow Door were any indication. He turned to Mac with a frown, "Y're probably right about there being more of them." The tikbalang was not happy, not in the least. No answers, no idea, no explanation, and now they were being attacked. "Y' saying we're some kinda prey?" Frustration had him swing the blunt mace he held sharply downwards, better to hit the ground than someone else.

One swing was all he took. It didn't wasn't enough to completely calm him down, but it helped. Marginally. Thankfully he had sunk it deep into the ground enough that when Alwyn appeared he didn't have the time to brandish it at her. When it became apparent it was another student, he yanked the mace up to rest it on his bare shoulder.

Still on edge, he turned to Lizzy, who apparently he considered as the herd leader. She had formed this little group of theirs so it seemed only right she be the leader. "We waiting around for more students or we going to the place the note mentioned?" Whichever decision Lizzy made, Petro would go along. Even if he didn't like staying put for so long.

"Congrats." Mac murmured to Lizzy upon her victory; he had to admit that was pretty impressive...he wasn't looking forward to his time to get attacked, if one ever came. Hopefully though, it wouldn't. "Yeah, that's exactly what I mean, man." He went on to say to Petro, flincing when the boil took his anger out on the ground.

"Well, good to know I'm not the only one who goes by a nickname." Mac mused out loud in response to Lizzy, under his breath. He was talking in a low voice; he was shivering, and he didn't want his voice to give it away. Though, of course, Lizzy might have been able to pick up on it, as she insisted on clinging to him. "Why are you so clingy?" He grumped at her, a little louder this time.

"Good to see you alive." Whether the pun was intended or not was hard to tell, and before Lizzy started leading them away, he asked Alwine once more. "So, are you just all invisible, or are you headless too?" Like last time, he didn't skip a beat; he was curious, man!

Watching Sepheran be attacked Mandy was fleetingly tempted to jump in and help but she wasn't quite sure how fast she could move at the moment thanks to the cold so would probably be more of a hinderance than a help, besides it all turned out ok in the end.

Though Petro's accusation of this being their fault though did nothing to improve her mood and she would have given the boil a piece of her mind if the others hadn't stepped in, besides how threatening she could sound at the moment was questionable at best.

Then Mac finally replied to her, his answer causing her to physically slump. "Y- Yeah, I t-thought tha-t w-was t-the ca-se.". It should be noted he was not off the hook, now just wasn't the time or place to deal with him loosing her.

Slumping even further at the thought of Alwine lost at sea or in this fog she stated sniffling a bit in-between her sneezes. Poor Alwi-

ALWINE! Spinning around she gave the ghoul a tight hug, not caring how this was probably making her even colder - if such a thing was possible. This would have been incredibly joyus, of the good kind, if Lizzy hadn't then got attacked but once again she determined there was nothing she could do.

"G- glad yo-ur ok W- Winnie. N- nno ge-tting lost -t a- again on me ok?", as she said this she let go of her hug and instead just held onto the ghouls hand, tugging her to start walking with the group as they where hurried along.

[The more the easier it is to target them, Seph, obviously. 8DD]

"Thanks, but its not over... Probably..." She smiled sheepishly at Mac before looking away, staring at the ships in the distance with a slight frown; at least this beach would look right at home in Halloween... Creepy fog, darkened skies... Inclining her head to look at the boil again, she raised an eye brow, "What do you mean? Mac is a nickname...? And I'm not clingy!" She insisted before looking at the arm she was currently clinging holding on to, her face turning a little pink.

"Not usually anyway..."

She released Mac, feeling rather odd without something - uh, someone - to hold onto as she moved down the beach; while she was grateful to Petro for his gesture, he was too tensed up. It was making her nervous as well... As if knowing that they might get attacked at any moment wasn't enough! Looking back at the newest arrival, she offered her another smile; ah, she really is Alwine! It was nice to see Mandy reunited with her friend!

Somehow, they managed to reach the dock without being attacked a third time, although the feeling that they were being watched never left - at least, that was how Lizzy felt about it.

"Uh... Everyone grab the flashlight from their bag? I doubt the lights are working inside..." She took her own one out, pushing the switch to turn it on before shining it at the rear of the first ship. Then, she paused, looking at the group before looking at the first ship, and then back at the group again. She hesitated, staying silent for a while longer before walking up the platform, gesturing for at least someone to follow; yes, she doesn't want to enter alone.

Oh Amritaaaaa. Where are you when you're needed?

Luckily, Mac didn't feel too bad about the whole Alwine thing for long, as the ghoul herself showed up and made the drowned rat drop bear less of a zombie.

"Hm? Oh. Yeah, It's a nickname." Mac confirmed with a small smile. "Not sure why, though." His smile spread into a wider grin, clearly not going to elaborate anymore. If she wanted his real name, she'd have to be clever to try and get it from him. Yes, Mac was pulling a Rumpelstiltskin. "You were clinging." He said again, clearly dropping the whole nickname subject.

Then, he followed her to the ship silently, his lack of speech hiding the bone-chilling cold he was feeling; hey, at least he was numb enough to not feel the pain in his arm! Clearly nothing was broken, it was likely just a scratch but he didn't want to look.

"Dear Jack, you're so demanding." Mac chided with a click of this tongue, being mean for the sake of being mean and not actually meaning it. Reaching into his bag, he felt around for the flashlight, turning it on and shining it into the fog.

"A fire would be nice, man. So very nice." He agreed with Petro, shining he flashlight on the monster boil for a moment.

Sepheran walked along with the group beside Arachne until they managed to make it all the way to the ships without further incident. Much to the relief of Sepheran at least. Still...he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched which lead him to being more on edge then before.

At the mention of the flashlight's Sepheran nodded pulling out his own and turning it on. He flashed it at the ship a moment watching Lizzy start ahead though seeming to hesitate slightly. Hearing Petro he nodded softly. "I'll go with Lizzy," he stated knowing it wasn't smart to have someone seperate on their own. Moving up closer he stood by her side. "Ready when you are Lizzy," He stated nodding to her lightly.

Part of him was hoping she'd press the name issue; but since she didn't, it would likely be a game for another time.

"I'm going." Mac assured the Tikbalang. Between the probably blind boy and Lizzy, the group would need someone responsible and able bodied! Still, that didn't stop him from walking half a pace behind Lizzy; she insisted on being the leader, after all! Besides, he was close enough to grab her and pull her back if she needed it.

And if he felt like it at the time.

"Which is a good thing." He reminded the Demoness in a short tone, shining his flashlight this way and that to try and find anything useful.

Mac gave a strangled noise, reeling to not collide into the suddenly appearing cloaked figure. WHAT THE JACK THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! His first instinct was to run, which was sadly hard to do when you were grabbed. So, he settled for his next instinct; take a swing at the figure with his wooden bat.
