~Outside the Hidden Shrine Village~

A soft breeze rolls over a dirt path that winds up a slight hill, which lead to a large japanese-style gate and further past that a large temple of sorts. Asaba Seiko, of the Akatsuki is standing on that dirt path, staring at the gate and temple, wondering what could be in store for him in the village ahead. Many more temples and churches and other buuldings could be seen in the distance, with woods beyond them and mountains further away. Quite serene and peaceful, if you're into that kind of thing. Seiko, however, was not. He was more into slaughtering, er, sacrificing people for Lord Jashin. A 'religion' of sorts, which rewarded him with great power. This village, which, according to his reports, was all about religion, would most likely not turn him away before realizing just who the Akatsuki were. Even though their original goal was to eradicate demons... with the intent of taking over the world with forbidden jutsu. But that's beside the point. Seiko continued staring at the large gate before him, and snapping him out of his stare was a hiss from Nakumi, his own Forbidden Jutsu, and companion for life. Seiko made no notion of acknowledgement towards Nakumi's hiss, but instead starting walking towards the village, to see just what this village could offer him, or the Akatsuki. Jutsu? Information? A Jinchiruuki? Who knows... The only way to find out? Go take a look.

~Inside the Hidden Shrine Village~

After clearing the gate and coming into the village, Seiko noticed something odd. There was no protection. No concealment of the village, other than it being very far out of the way of the Hidden Cloud village, and close to the mountains. This seemed very foolish to Seiko, but after a moment he grasped the situation. This is a pacifist village, with no intent to fight unless attacked. And based on what he knows about the village, Seiko could determine they can hold their own. Seiko continued into the village, passing a few houses, monks and priests alike smiling and greeting him; welcoming him to their village, but with no feedback from Seiko. As he scanned the village, he stopped. He could sense the chakra of something... else. Unlike the village with it's peaceful feelings and warm atmosphere. This chakra felt... tortured, cold, and tense. Scanning with his eyes, Seiko determined the location of the chakra signature. Up on the hill in front of him, about 50 kilometers away, near an old stone church that looked particularly ominous. Seeking an answer to this mysterious entity, Seiko began walked towards and up the hill, heading towards the mysterious prescence. After clearing the crest of the hill, he could see two people standing close together. A young boy wearing priest clothing, and a girl who looked all too out of place in the village, much like himself. Nakumi hissed, and Seiko shifted his eyes towards her. He nodded and looked back at the couple in the distance, and cracked his neck a bit by tilting it to the left. "Hmm... Let's go make some new friends, shall we, Nakumi?" Nakumi hissed as if in agreement, and in an instant Seiko's body seemed to flicker like a hologram, then disappeared. A few seconds later, his image would flicker back into view a few feet from the people who were talking and seemingly about to head closer to the mountains.

User ImageNita was dragged along by Mashira as she held onto his hand... Well, more or less his wrist because his other hand held the Good Book that stored the stories of many things within it. He was rather surprised that she would rather go to the church than to go persist into going to the forest as quickly as possible. Nita suddenly had a flash of the future, not very far of the future, but enough to cause him to stop and spin around as a male wearing a robe of the Akatsuki appeared behind them of a man and some form of creature. A snake? A reptile? Or some freaky growth growing out of him? It was rather hard to tell because the image was a hologram but Nita was fully aware of the technique. Body Flicker. A rather useful ability learned in the Village of the Leaf by various shinobi willing to teach it to you. There was also a mist version for Hunter Nin that allowed a person to use the mist to cover their escape in the first place. Nita's face turned from worry to back to its cheerful self. He was not going to blow his cover about who he used to be because of something that has come back from the past to probably haunt him.

"Hello, welcome to Hidden Shrine friend. If you are here to seek religious enlightenment, you are free to talk with the head of each temple," said Nita with a smile. He then noticed a rather particular item hanging from his neck. It was a circle with a simple triangle within the middle and that was enough to bring back memories from a life long since forgotten. It was the symbol of the God Jashin. The dark God bent on human sacrifice and supposedly enjoys the sufferings of others. At least that is how Nita remembered it. What this man was doing there, he could not find out for certain but knew that if he were to go to the Temple of Jashin, the head priest there would be able to read this man's thoughts and memories to determine if he would be a problem for the village whether they were of the same religion or not.

The pupils in her eyes seemed to grow in to the famous cat eye shape again as she started to sniff the air. There was a new scent in the area that belonged to a person who wasn't here when she first arrived. As she continued to sniff the air she could also smell a creature that was unknown to her. Something was off however she decided to keep her own childish smile on her face. She looked over to Nita and noticed that he felt that something was off to. When he turned around she did the same thing only to stare ahead at a male who wore the famous Akatsuki coat. She hadn't scene anyone wear that coat since her water demon was ripped from her body in her past life. She still remembered everything about it and the voices who where in the room with her. In a way she still feared them and anyone who wore that cursed coat. ' I thought they where stopped years ago,..' She thought while keeping on her own innocent appearance towards the new male and the odd creature that was wrapped around him. It was a defense tactic that every child did have within them and was a huge advantage in most cases.

." Huh? " The girl tilted her head to the side as she stood next to Nita. She had let go of his wrist awhile ago and now hid both of her arms in her red coat. Inside her coat was her weapons and scrolls for summoning. With them inside she felt a bit more safe as she waited for the stranger to speak. She dobted that he was here to find religious enlightenment. Her eyes caught on the the pendent he wore of the god Jashin. She seemed to smile a bit as she saw it before eying the male. ' So someone else besides my other side believes in that god. Guess it's good to know that she's not alone. I'll have to tell her next time I see her...' She thought while glancing back and forth at Nita and the unknown name.

~Inside the Hidden Shrine Village~

As Seiko stoood before the couple, he shifted his gaze at the girl. She was the source of the chakra he was sensing. And then he tocied her eyes and she pulled her arms into her little red coat. They resembled that of a cat. And then he knew. She was a lycan. Seiko had never seen one before, but the eyes were the tell tale sign of the clan. The boy to his left, however, seemed surprisingly upbeat about the whole situation, whereas the girl seemed stricken with fear, intrigue, and surprise. Seiko stood perfectly still as the two before him seemed confused, and the boy greeted him with a smile. They both intrigued Seiko, but the boy seemed like he knew something, something very important and he was keeping it a secret. The girl however seemed curious, but also very protective like that of a wolf. "Hmm... I've never known anyone to warmly greet a member of the Akatsuki into their village. However, considerin your female friend there is holding scrolls in her coat, I'd say you don't plan on finding out why I'm here. Am i correct?" Seiko's attention shifted to the girl, who seemed utterly stunned that he could tell she was holding scrolls inside her coat. She took a step back and Nakumi hissed. "Yes Nakumi, you'll have your fun soon enough. But for now, I'd like to show these people a new path of... enlightenment." Seiko stared intently at the pair, but mainly at the boy, but not forgetting that the girl was holding her weapons at the ready. "What do either of you know about the Akatsuki? The reason I ask is because you either don't know of us, or you know enough not to run away. I would like to know why." Seiko looked at Nakumi, who hissed at the couple. She was getting restless and Seiko could feel it. Hopefully it wouldn't come to destroying the village to keep her satisfied. Well, if it happened, he wouldn't stop it.

User ImageNita shifted his eyes from Mashira to the man who called his pet Nakumi. Nita quickly took a glimpse into his mind and was able pull a name since he was not too far from him in the first place. Hopefully Seiko was the guys actual name. Nita also knew must more about the Akatsuki than any of them knew but Nita also knew things that these two did not. If either of them were to start a fight, both of them would die within seconds as clan members would come to his aid and end them within moments because of all the clan techniques. No person who ever drew blood in this village without reason to benefit the Temples has ever lived to tell their deeds. And he was sure not going to let two people start something on in front of him. Nita stepped up to stand between the two and put his hands together, putting himself in prayer.

"It is not proper to deny entry to a guest whether they are known killers or benevolent saints in these temples. If they are willing to seek enlightenment or repent for the sins they have done, all are welcome here. If you happened to come across us or are wondering what may lie within these hallowed grounds, your search will bare no fruit," said Nita as he lowered his arms and turned his head towards the man with the snake and sighed. "I know all about the Akatsuki. Their mission, their willingness to kill to achieve their goals, everything. Just because you are here to try to convince people to become your or your ally's subordinate does not mean they will see this 'enlightenment' of which you speak. Or are you here because of a suspicion there may be a Jinchiruuki that you can try to subdue? Because that too would be a futile find."

When hearing his comment on how he knew that she had weapons in her cape then child seemed to only raise her eye brows. She couldn't figure out how he knew what was in her cape unless he had the power to see in to peoples clothing. If that was the case then there was a much more bigger problem then she thought. She had weapons, scrolls, medical kits and of bunch of small items she had to carry around that she needed to hide from people. If they where easily scene then she could be in serious trouble. She placed her hands back outside of her cape to show she wasn't holding anything and proceeded to cross her arms over her chest. She wanted to keep her hands in sight due to it leaving a horrible impression. She didn't think too clearly all the time for her beast instincts kicked in a lot. The child turned her attention to Nita as she listened to him speak about how the shrine did not deny anyone despite their backgrounds. In a way she did like that however when you where alive for a few years you learned to not trust people in general.

When hearing the older males question about if they new anything about the organization. When hearing his reason why he asked this she simply nodded her head yes. " Everyone has heard about it however I don't particularly know as much as Nita dose." She said while glancing back at the other child. She was unsure how he knew so much about the organization. She was also very surprised that someone his age knew of the demons however she did not ask about it. The topic seemed far too odd to ask about right now. In one of her past she knew plenty of people who joined it in their youths however most of them where dead now or retired when it disappeared a few years ago. " However the name hasn't been whispered like it use to be in the old days, or so my papa and me ma says. " She said while tilting her head to the side. She was truly good at putting up an act. Her eyes then traveled to the snake, making her stare at the creature with pure fascination. She loved reptiles and amphibians more then any girl should at her age, and the create in front of her was something she categorized as beautiful.

User ImageNita suddenly realized what he just said was a big problem. He was supposed to be a boy from a village that had segregated itself from the world for centuries. How in the hell would his people, let alone a child from this place, know anything about a small organization that almost brought about the end of the entire world through a major global war using the Edo Tensai! Nita knew there was no way he could possibly pull up a proper excuse if they call him on that fluke. "Crap, crap, crap. Damn it Bone, why the hell do I have to bring up things from that time! I am no longer part of the Akatsuki! I do not want to be part of it anymore. I just want to live a life of simplicity until I can finally pass on in a normal way and be pulled out of the Cycle of Life. Please do not let them notice that," thought Nita to himself as he kicked himself on the inside as he looked at both of them through the corner of his eyes.

And there it was. He knew something was odd about the boy. He knew so much about the Akatsuki, yet he was a boy. However, Seiko still showed no emotion at the boys comment. The boy stayed perfectly still like a statue even after he spoke, and Seiko noticed as he peeked through one of his closed eyes. Inside, Seiko was making a smirk, but he wouldn't dare show emotion outside his body. Then he noticed the girl. She had put her arms back outside her cloak, and was now inently staring at Nakumi. Seiko shifted his eyes at Nakumi, who had her own eyes staring straight at the girl. Nakumi let out a vicious hiss and even opened her mouth. Seiko actually let out a small chuckle, and looked back at the girl. "Nakumi doesn't like being stared at. I would advise you to look away, girl. Unless of course you like being in an unimaginable hell..." He stared at the girl for a moment, then switched his view back to the boy. He smiled behing his cloak for the first time in a very long time, and walked over the the boy. The whole time he bhad been standing perfectly still, and had finally moved. "You, boy. Tell me something; how do you know so much about the Akatsuki? You seem so... uneducated in the world beyond these walls, and yet you know about the Akatsuki in detail. Tell me, how is this possible?" Seiko stood, towering over the booy, awaiting his response. The entire time, Nakumi never took her gaze off of the girl, making sure she didn't try anything while Seiko's back was turned. He waited for the boys response, and thought about what he had said. "How does this boy know so much? Who, or what, is he? I must find out. One way, or another. This boy could be a threat to the Organization..." Seiko stood, still waiting for the boy to answer, as a light breeze wafted over the village. The boy continued to stand still, and the girl was still staring at Nakumi with an envious joy. Hopefully she wasn't a silly little girl and tried to touch her. Nakumi wouldn't like that one bit... and neither would the girl.

User ImageNita's mind raced. He wanted to say that a traveler came one time and told them about the organization already but then again, the man could just ask what the man looked like or what the name was and would instantly know that Nita was lying. Nita looked at Mashira and already knew her secret having seen her when he was Bone before he died, though it was still a mystery to him on how he died. Nita clenched a fist around his rosary as he started to grind his teeth together, slowly looking down to the ground. The only way to finish this problem was to reveal what he knew. Whether or not this man will use this information to blackmail him or if Mashira would start trying to kill him at this fact, Nita can not care anymore. He took a few steps back and then made a hand seal, Book and Rosary in both hands. "Henge no Jutsu," muttered Nita in regret.

A sudden cloud of smoke appeared around Nita as the Henge no Jutsu took a hold of his form and hid him within an illusion. In front of them both stood a man wearing an Akatsuki cloak himself but something was off. He was not made of flesh and bone, but rather wood and metal. His hair was black and the Hidden Sand symbol etched into his forehead and a slash through it. "I really hoped it would not have to come down to this... But I have no choice. I am Bone Akasun, Ex-Member of the Akatsuki. Also the one ninja that was able to rival Orochimaru in techniques. You tell anyone about this and neither of you will live for very long," said Bone as he stared at Seiko through glassy puppet eyes. He wanted to say something to Mashira about knowing who she really was but he would not give her away to someone he cannot trust.

When hearing the older male speak she quickly shifted her eyes to look away from the snake. He was right about it, The creature didn't seem to please to have someone staring at it. The female seemed to stay completely still as she watched him walk over to Nita. When listening to him speak her ears seemed to twitch a few times. He did have a good point. The child did know far too to much for someone his age and this village did seem to have little to no connection to the old. ' Maybe he's just another soul hiding.... ' She thought while glancing back towards the snake then back to the other child. There was so many names who passed by her mind who could have died since that last ten years she saw them. ' Kronan,Gana, Drago, Bone, or even that ninny Yuan..' So many other names had come to mind but the ones she was thinking of had a better chance of being alive or coming back to the world. She then turned back to Nita watching his reaction. He seemed a bit panicked.

She watched him take a few steps back and place his hands together. When hearing the jutsu name she quickly threw up her right arm over her face, wanting to block the smoke. After a few seconds she let her arm her down, peeking over to see a very familiar form. The girls jaw seemed to literally drop as she was now staring at a form she hasn't scene since.. Well.. Since she was a little girl in a different body... 'Holy s**t it's been over almost fifteen years since he was in that form.' She thought while tilting her head to the side. For some strange reason she was now waiting for Crius Akasun to pop out of no where, mostly for sentimental value but also because she always imagined them as a good pair.

" Bone,.." She said mostly to herself while taking a small step back, letting everyone have their own room. The last time she saw him was at the shrine in Hidden Leaf. She was sure he had gone insane at that point but here he was, in the village that he was promised to go to. ' Ryu will not be pleased with this one bit,..' She thought with a small smile forming on her face. Her smile quickly vanished as she then turned back to the unknown male to see what he would do. For now she wanted to stay on neutral ground in this situation, at least until she was sure of the others intent.

~Inside the Hidden Shrine Village~

Seiko knew it. This boy was definately NOT what he had seemed at all. Bone Akasun. Legendary member of the Akatsuki. Seiko had great respect for him, even though he went into hiding for some reason. Seiko did not know all of the details, but he knew enough about the man, or, puppet-man before him. His glassy eyes felt just as cold as his own snake-like eyes, or so he figured. He never really showed emotion, and Bone couldn't really do that either. They were a pair of emotion-less, guilt ridden people. Of course nobody could ever tell, they were too busy being killed or stunned with fear. Seiko smiled behind his cloak, and stared at Bone. Nakumi, however, was still staring at the girl. Apparently she saw something Seiko did not, but she was the least of his problems. "Well, I didn't think I'd ever have the time to actually meet you, Bone-san. It's an honor." Seiko closed his eyes and tilted his head forward, symbolically bowing to the man. He shared a bond with him in fact; killing others to make himself stronger, and they both had their way of becoming almost indestructible. Seiko re-opened his eyes, and stared at Bone. "Please excuse me if I startled you earlier. This cloak and my demeanor can come off a little bit... imtimidating? I merely came to this village to find any useful imformation. And look what, or should I say who, I found? Bone Akasun. In the flesh. Or perhaps 'wood' is the better term, yes? But let me ask you Bone, who is your friend? Nakumi hasn't taken her eyes off of her and hasn't tried a Genjutsu on her yet. It puzzles me as to why she is so special, and why she would be here with you. Enlighten me, if you would." Seiko awaited his reply, and turned to the girl, giving her a quick once over. She was something unique, yes, but why? What about her gave Seiko a perplexing feeling in his mind? Why was she with Bone in the first place? Surely she must have known it was him, or he somehow kept her around for protection? Seiko had many questions and not enough time to ask them all. He needed to figure these questions out quickly. "We need to speak of this at once, but not with villagers around. Please, meet me outside of the village gates. Being with all of these "righteous" people makes me want to go on a killing spree. I'll see you soon, Bone." Seiko raised a hand from within his sleeve, and made a single hand seal. His image flickered for a second, then he was gone, leaving a soft breeze in his place, and some leaves floating by. He considered what would happen if Bone were to attack, but determined he would not, considering the village was in such a close proximity. Hopefully he could figure all of this out before he had to continue to the next village, for he still wanted to spend some time with Bone, and his little companion.

User ImageBone waited for Seiko to leave before he changed back to his natural form. The small meek looking child holding a rosary and a black, leather bound book. Who knew that his status as a defective member of the Akatsuki would get the man to leave quickly. Nita sighed to himself as he could feel his strength leaving slightly, not sure what he would have been able to do in his weakened state if the man decided to attack him or Mashira. But now there is this problem. How is he going to explain all this to Mashira? How is he going to explain to her that he was Bone and did not want to tell her about it. He knelt down to the ground and crossed himself using the hand holding the rosary before sighing.

"Mashira... No, Matsuri... I am sorry for lying to you since you got here. This is not a good place to be, even if you are a traveler. All I can tell you is that you will die if you snoop around this village like you almost had before. I did not want to fight you, and I certainly do not want to kill again. That part of my life is forever done and over with. I will only kill when it is absolutely necessary," said Nita as he kept in the same position. He did not want to leave to meet this Seiko about the organization, but it looks like he had no choice since they would kill him too if he were to start a racket if Nita did not go to meet him. "Why can I not escape all this and live a natural life so I can finally end all this," muttered Nita to himself as he tried to push himself back onto his feet.

She watched the male disappear before turning her attention to Bone. She saw him return to his now new body and couldn't help but to smile. When seeing him kneel to the ground she could only give him a questioned look as if unsure what he was doing. She then listened to him speak her original name and heard him talk about his village. Normally she would ask questions on the village and why they had such a strict conduct however this wasn't the time for it. Now there was a man waiting for them to see him and oddly enough he was from the same organization that connected them both. In the past her other self was murdered for having friends in that cursed organization. And in her last life she was chased down by them for several years. The girl had a feeling that no matter what would happen something would come out of this. Nothing was ever simple when the Akatsuki was involved.

" No one can escape from their past." She said with a smile on her face. She then lent out her left hand, wanting to help him up from the ground. " Come on. We might as well get this over with. I know that your in a weak body right now but if anything happens I'll try my best to get you out of there. I still have my king. " She explained while watching him. In the back of her mind she couldn't help but to wonder what he meant by the snake not using it's genjutsu on her. The child seemed to narrow her eyes as more questions came in to her mind. ' I wonder what he wishs to talk about,.. At least he's smart about it. The villagers here sound to be cut throat,' She thought while glancing back towards the shrine.

User ImageNita did not want to move. He just wanted to go back into the church and pray until all this mess was done and over with on its own. He remembered there were times in that organization where he just did not want to join another organization ever again. However, that did not stop his other personalities to overrule him to start up their own organizations though they did not last very long because of their escapades into going straight into hiding for some internal conferencing through intense meditation. He heard Mashira say that no one could escape from their past. Bone did it multiple times and was sure that many other people were able to escape but it was the fact that they allowed themselves to remember their past that they let the past catch up with them... He wanted to say that but it was just his view of the world.

Nita accepted her hand as she helped him up and looked down towards the gates of the village. He saw a person wearing a snake at the gates and sighed. If he had to talk with this guy to get him out of this area as quickly as possible, then so be it. Nita then thought back and wondered what the hell Mashira meant by saying she still had her king... But he did not care about that as much as he cared to get those two out of the village.

~::At the Gates::~

Nita walked up to the man and looked at him through the brow his eyes eyes, not really wanting to look at the man directly. If he was not careful, he would be fighting a man that could easily throw him into something he was not prepared for. For all Nita knew, this guy could be a member of the Uchiha clan so looking in the man's eyes was not a very good thing to take. "So what is it that you wanted to talk to me about Seiko. And please make it quick, there are some things here that I still need to attend to," said Nita with a voice of authority. He did not want to sound weak to this guy in case the man would figure that he would be strong enough to overtake Nita. Of course, that could either be true or false whether or not Nita figures out how to fight the battle if one ever broke out.

~Edge of the Hidden Shrine Village~

Seiko nearly laughed as Bone looked like a hurt puppy as he spoke in a commanding tone to Seiko. What could he possibly be thinking? Seiko turned his attention to the girl for a moment, then looked back at Bone. "Bone, first of all, you can look me in the eye. I won't attempt anything on you. The first thing you must establish with somebody is a mutual trust. I already know you won't start a fight with the village in such close proximity, and I wouldn't dream of attacking you alone; let alone at all. I felt it was only just for me to introduce myself properly, but without a bunch of peasants around." The use of the words "peasants" in place of "righteous folk" suited Seiko better than the latter, for he cared not for those people. He only cared about Bone, and his little friend. She still puzzled him, but he would get to her in due time. "My name, as I said, is Asaba Seiko. I am from the Hidden Grass village, and hail from the Midori clan. The Leaf headband I wear is merely a formality. My friend here, her name is Nakumi. Don't worry about her too much. She's - fairly - docile at times. The reason I'm telling you all of this is because I already know so much about you, and yet you know nothing of me." It seemed that Seiko was almost too giving with the information about himself, and where he truly came from. Seiko shifted his gaze over towards the girl, and Nakumi hissed. Seiko understood what the snake meant every time she hissed, but not many others did. Seiko looked back at Bone, and struck a hand out, and placed it on his shoulder. "No, Bone of the Sand. I do not wish to harm you. But whether you wish to harm me or not is an entirely different story. After all, I was a part of your organization in a past life. I remember it, but it gets blurred at times. I do remember a white band of cloth very vividly though. that much I know." Seiko took his hand off of Bone, and turned around. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath of the breeze that was passing by, and made his hair waft lazily in the air flow. Oh how he missed the days in Kusagakure, lying in a field of grass, enjoying life as a boy. But those times were long gone. Seiko lowered his head back to normal, but kept his eyes closed. Nakumi had turned her head so that she could watch the pair of ninja to make sure they didn't try anything. Seiko didn't tell her to do this, but being in a symbiosys with Seiko, she did it to protect him. "Now, the main question I have for you Bone... is about your friend. I know nothing about her, but she confuses me. I do not know how to make her out. She has a sort of - strange -presence about her." Seiko couldn't put his finger on it, but something about the girl was off. Seiko knew Bone would have a reason for keeping her around, and not just for the company. He wanted to know more about the legendary Bone Akasun, and any he may consider his friends. Yes... friends. The last friend Seiko had he killed to create his pet; Nakumi. How he missed having friends. But, what can one do when you live though sacificial killing? Seiko didn't know, but somehow he managed. Maybe he could learn a thing or two from Bone and his experiences. Maybe, just maybe. The immense guilt he carried for his crimes were only canceled out by his love of cimitting them. He was a condtradiction in and of himself, and with no rhyme or reason as to why. He wished to figure himself out, and with Bone helping him, he could find the answers, one day. One day at a time.
