Sand was hard to walk in! Junko did her best not to hold them up too much but she definitely wasn't enjoying the way the sand gave out underneath her steps. Because of this it was a huge relief to her when they started walking on more solid ground, though she had no idea where they were. Where did this road come from? Oh well, as long as they weren't walking in the sand anymore and they were away from everyone else! This was okay. At Seiji's warning Junko gave a nod and followed him carefully, all the while looking around for signs of life. Or unlife. Whatever.
Did she hear voices? Oh no...maybe they should take another road. Was it too late for that? It was probably too late for that. One of her hands instinctively reached up to rest on her head and grab at some of her hair. Someone was going to see her. It..it'd be okay! Maybe the fog could hide her well enough that they wouldn't notice her...

West (and his passenger, Savior) took his time through the fog, keeping Holly in view in front of him, or so he thought. Somewhere along the way, his plain old wooden bat had started to glow with an angry, roiling red light that reminded him... well, it reminded him of his FEAR. It was not a welcome sight. When he finally tore his attention from it and turned back to the pocked path ahead, Holly was gone. Great. Where had she gotten off to?
It seemed that in exchange for the ghost, West had stumbled upon a new group of students, or at least some new voices mixed with the old. With any luck, Holly would be back soon and they could focus on getting the hell out of this place again.
He tapped Savior on her knee. "Y'wanna geddown?" he asked. She was certainly light enough to cart around all day, unlike Barth, but he really wasn't keen on finding out the consequences of Marrowstripe boredom.

The path was rough but being back at the crossroads left an uneasy feeling in the pit of his empty stomach. It wasn't a place with very fond memories.
But it did have a path that had less footprints than the others, maybe it deserved to be checked out?
That path had so many twists and turns, it was as if it was a place that was not meant to be discovered, he had to climb and drop from different elevations to keep on the path, visibility was close to none as you couldn't see very far in front of you. but after some time, there it was.
The fog diminished and gave way to a dilapidated town, it was so broken down, it was as if a gust of wind could knock its structures down and shift the foundations.
But there were still fresh footprints and scents in the air. It was clear he was not alone here, but was it friend, or foe? "I guess theres only one way to find out" he said into the air and he crouched as low as he could and walked around the buildings, ears open and alert to what could be happening around him, and a pipe ready to bash anything he deemed a threat.

Appeal  Even if the hooded figure was one for conversation after the horrible conversation Holly had made towards it, it certainly didn't want to do anything other than chop her up with its giant axe at the moment. So, happily, it did so, swinging forward rather quickly and efficiently with its axe. Not enough damage, none, in fact. How saddening. HP: 12
Damage to Holly: 0This was taking jacking forever. How lucky was she to get the one with horrible aim. Though she was one to talk seeing that she was doing just as much damage back. Holly sighed and angrily swung her wooden sword again. She'd have to look for West and Savior later. HP: 24 Damage done: 8

The object stings upon contact, leaving your student feeling oddly even more tired. HP: 4

"Rude" was the first impression Colette got of the ghost ghoul who had just spoken to her. There was a much nicer way of saying "let's go." The Reaper didn't know if the ghoul was bored, in a rush, or just plain scared -- but either was no excuse to talk to her like that. Sheesh! Her words made Colette furrow her brow and frown, and she opened her mouth to say something until Raziel actually replied and stopped her in her tracks.
"I've been.. alright. The fog is terrible and I ended up in a fight against some hooded guy," she said to him. She tried to ignore what the ghost ghoul said hoped there wouldn't be more of that in the future. "And I'd be happy to travel with you." You being him and not her, but she wouldn't and couldn't do anything against refusing Sarias. She did pair with him first! Colette was prepared to grin and bear it. Maybe she really wasn't bad. Yeah.. she had hope.
Colette looked toward the direction Raziel suggested and nodded. "Sounds good." She smile at Raziel and tried to smile at Sarias too, ready to make the best of things. She hoped if there was a store over there it meant food.
Not forgetting the ghost ghoul's command earlier, Colette took a step towards their designated direction. Best to get a move on or get some nagging, she supposed. The Reaper paused for a moment however. "My name's Colette, by the way," she directed at Sarias. Official name introduction thingies made everything better, right? Even if she didn't care, it was worth a try, and Colette started walking again.

Jove followed the group, rather lost in his own silent thoughts for a time. He didn't notice the ground solidifying under his feet, or the way the terrain changed, but he did hear the voices. None that he recognized... He lifted his nose to sniff the air, but they must have been upwind, and the pup picked up nothing but moisture, dirt, and vegetation.
He edged closer to Junko and Seiji, in a way herding Tomoko closer towards them as well. This was frightening, his senses feeling so blinded that he had no clue of what was around them, or whom. There could have been a dark-robed figure sneaking up on them right that minute, and Jove might not even hear them with the fog muffling sounds and bouncing them around. If he wasn't struggling so hard to be one of the tough guys, like Seiji, he would have whined or held Junko's hand.

Upon leaving the Supplies Shed two days ago, Aurian had stumbled into a heavy patch of fog, trying to follow other students as they left to explore. It seemed as though only minutes had passed as she now exited it. She glanced around, surprised to find herself on a path she hadn't seen before. A glance over her shoulder showed no trace of the Shed.
"That's... weird," she said. The area wasn't reassuring in the least, with broken weapons and cracks running through the ground. She bypassed half a sword sticking out of the ground (rusted over and of less use than the metal pipe she currently wielded). Ahead of her, she could make out the silhouette of a town through the thin fog that remained.
"Hello?" she called out, looking to either direction up and down the path. "Is anyone there?"
While waiting for a response, she began making her way down to the town. Her progress was slow, hindered by the terrible path and the feeling that she wasn't as alone as it appeared out here.

Holly watched the figure just up and leave. What was that exactly and what was with the pendant? The ghoul went and picked it up. Interesting. She pocketed it for later since maybe it was useful for some odd reason. She went and looked for her group. Ah. There they were near some other students. She looked to West and waved to Savior. "So I just got attacked by one of those hooded figure things. Got me a pendant and jacking hurt now." Did she mention that was annoying being a ghost and some how hurt? "So uh, pick up any new group members and where the jack we going now?"
