Sonja breathed in deeply through her nose and exhaled, trying to relax her muscles.Not an easy task since so many were still protesting the tumble they'd taken earlier. "Ok, relax and don't hit so hard. What else?"

"Okay..." she said rolling back her shoulders to help relax them. "So I'm guessing force isn't my strong point after that last hit...my speed isn't really at the top of the charts either...but I've got courage working for me...and a bit of luck. Add in some smarts and that might be all I need, right?"

Karloff switched his tail, "Then let's play." He purred loudly.

So Sonja played. This time when she charged she tried to be smarter about it, she let her eyes focus on one point and moved like it would be her target, then at the last second switched for a quick kick in the other direction.

Karloff watched as she moved, it was a bit harder to tell what she was intending this time. However, he had enough experience that he dodged most of her attack, her hoof just grazing his front leg. Sidestepping as much as he could, he bit at her open side trying to land a warning type n**.

Sonja yelped at the n** but didn't let it phase her. Instead she tried another attack before he had time to recover from her last.

Sonja fell to the ground and took a second to shake head head and catch her bearings. "Ok, how'd you do that?" she asked rolling back to her feet.
