“Ah I am sorry miss….” Amatsu trailed off and placed his paws on his face. Ugh and right after she just told him not to be so formal. “I’m sorry; it’s just some old manners that have been driven into me since I was a little kit. I’ll try to remember to stop if it really upsets you.” He looked forward to see if he could stop anything when he noticed a normal fox on the ground waving at him. “um should we stop and go see them?” Amatsu asked.
Horus let out a deep breath and leaned back against the palm tree waiting for his sister and who ever came with her he guessed. Running a tribe definitely involved getting sent to all corners of kemet. First he ended up at the edge of the desert and into the forest and now he was in the middle of a desert. Ah well that looked like two phims might as well call them down so he could say hi. If it was his sister well that was even better.

"It doesn't upset me perse, I just do not think there is a need for it." Eirene shrugged her shoulders then looked over at him, "What are you gazing at?" Following his gaze she spotted the distant dot on the desert floor which could only be explained as another fox. "Hm....those patterns certainly look familiar." She cocked her head to the side and continued to study him until a smirk spread over her face. "HORUS!" She flapped her wings excitedly and made a nose dive toward the desert floor and tackled said brother to the ground. Laughing, she licked over his face happily.
"Little brother."

“Well my grandfather was rather big on manners so he had them drilled into me, said as a boy I should treat girls with respect and as a good person that should extend to everyone.” Amatsu answered and then pointed towards the normal down on the ground. Ah well then was it an old member of kemet? There weren’t too many Kaname had told him about. Ah so it was the elder, well it would be nice to go down and talk to him. He slowly descended down giving horus some time with her relative
“Umph, oww that hurt a bit you know Eirene” Horus stated having been tackled. He was a bit used to it however having other members of the tribe tackle him. “Well I see you made it in one piece… and hey whats with the little brother, I’m going to be bigger than you soon. Plus I’m older.” He countered

"You might be older but I am still bigger then you. And as such until you become an official Elder then you shall be my little brother." Eirene licked his cheek affectionately, then smiled as she finally let him get up. She looked back and saw that Amatsu was coming at a rather slow pace. Perhaps it was a chance to allow her a small amount of alone time with her brother. Which of course she appreciated, but he was more then welcome to come and join them. "That is my new friend Amatsu. He came looking for someone in your tribe Kaname."
Eirene smiled at her brother, then looked back. "Matsu. You can come down here now. It's just my brother Horus."

“Which is extremely soon, I would guess with in the next two weeks” Horus pointed out. We already have a tribe guardian. It’s a different one then the one when we where little and is of the bat wing kind instead of bird wings. Ah he’s looking for Kana then” Horus nodded. “Kaname said that he would be coming to visit soon. Well you are most welcome to visit my tribe”
Amatsu landed and smiled at Eirene “Ah just wanted to give you two some time to catch up. I figured as much but decided the polite thing to do would be let the two siblings meet, I know I would be happy to see my friends again, they aren’t the same as siblings but…” Amatsu suddenly trailed off at what Horus had said. That was right, Morin used to call Kaname Kana when they where little Eirene had slightly known who he was talking about. He chuckled wondering how Kaname had ended up with a girly nickaname.

"Oh Kana is there?" Eriene beamed as she looked down at her brother. "I have been looking forward to meeting her for such a long time." The phim looked over at Amatsu, "My brother is forever talking about this vixen. My goodness it is all he can talk about sometimes when he visits me." Secretly in her head she wondered if something might have been going on with her brother and this mysterious vixen. The idea that her brother might soon have a mate made her giggle. She wanted nieces and nephews after all!

Oh Kaname was going to kill him, and it would be slow and very painful. However Horus at the moment found the whole situation extremely funny. Seconds later the laughter spilled out of his mouth. “Well of course one would talk about their best friend. However Kana isn’t…. well a vixen” Horus started still busy laughing.
“Mmm Mi… Eirene. Kana is um” He blushed trying to figure out how to fix the misunderstanding. Horus seemed a bit too busy at the moment trying to stop laughing. Oh he was so not going to tell the said phim anything about this. It would probably be their heads. Maybe Morin he would also have a kick out of it but… “Kana is Kaname” he finally managed to get out and looked down at his feet.

"I am afraid I do not understand." Eirene looked at her brother shocked. Why in the world was he laughing so hard? Kana, not a vixen. But it was a female name, how could she not be a she. Oh Eirene was so utterly lost. One minute she was happy to have her brother back, and in the next instant she had a migraine that would split her head in two.
"Kana....is Kaname?" She looked at the male phim confused.

“You see we where trying to get Kaname to lighten up as a kid and well Morin came up with the idea since Kaname had trouble saying his name when he was a kit, so we just called him Kana since it was the first part of his name” Horus stated “Nope Kaname is a full blooded adult male phim” he nodded.
“Yeah it’s his nickname I would guess. By the time I knew him he just went by Kaname. I had heard about his nickname once or twice but I had forgotten about it. I’m sorry for causing you this giant headache” Amatsu replied with a slight pout. Oh why was he so good at making a giant mess of headaches out of things.

Eirene shot her brother a comical glare, then whapped him with her tail. "I cannot believe that you allowed me to think Kana was a female for so many years. Ohhh Horus you....you're such a...." She huffed and looked away. "Oh Amatsu this is not your fault. I will not have you blaming yourself for this. My brother is the one that is to blame. He delights in deceiving me....He has ever since I was a little kit." She shook her head.
"At least I found this out now instead of in front of the male. My god how embarrassing that could have been."

“Well it’s not my fault, I didn’t think you thought Kaname was a girl” Horus said finally bringing his chuckling down. “And what do you mean by that, I was a perfect older brother, sure I teased you a bit but then again that just comes with the job title.” Horus replied shaking his head but he didn’t really take too much offense at it, it was just playful sibling teasing. “alright let’s get out of this heat and on to the tribe.”
“Ah okay if you insist” Amatsu replied although he still felt slightly guilty. If he had really thought about it Amatsu could have prevented Eirene from feeling embarrassed. He smiled as he watched the two siblings. Once again he wished he wasn’t an only child, but then again he had also seen what a sibling relationship could be when it was rather strained. Perhaps he would have been the type to have a sibling he was at war with. “Ah yes getting out of the heat would be best I think” he nodded.

Eirene nodded her head, "Oh yes please....I have had as much of the heat as I can take for one day. it has been far too long since I was out here in the desert, I am afraid that my body is no longer accustomed to this type of environment. I must acclimate accordingly once again." She flipped her curly hair over her shoulder, "Would it be faster to fly? I could carry you on my back little brother." She smiled at him teasingly.

Horus smiled and shook his head having thought something similar when the modeities had first come to him about about restarting up Kemet. “Luckily then you came around flooding season. It cools down just ever so slightly” Horus commented. “Ah no I’ll let you two fly and just catch up, although I might ask for a ride when we cross the nile, besides if you aren’t used to the heat carrying me will just make you more miserable”
Amatsu’s mood brightened when Horus brought up the tribe. He could finally see what he had came out here for, well that and Kaname. Of course he hoped he wouldn’t flush with slight embarrassment when he met his friend again. “I can offer a ride, I’m used to growing up in hot areas” Amatsu pointed out. Plus as a guy phim he was bigger and a bit stronger in case the tribe was further than he thought.

"Oh that is true..." Eirene sighed as she thought about it. Carrying another fox on her back was going to create more temperature between them, and she really wasn't accustomed to this heat anymore. it was going to take quite some time for her to get used to it again, and that was something she wasn't looking forward to. But all of it was worth it to see her big brother again, though she would continue to call him little brother out loud. She giggled softly to herself.
"Oh Amatsu...that is so sweet of you...thank you for offering to carry my little brother."

“Oh you will so not be able to say that in four da….” Horus trailed off and looked over towards the side. He had been keeping the day of the actual ascension secret since he wanted to spend time with his tribe when he was as normal as the rest. Sure they all knew he was the elder but he was a tiny bit afraid everyone would look at him differently when he looked like no one else in the tribe.
Amatsu tilted his head to the side wondering why Horus had trailed off. Was the tribe going to finally turn into a recognized tribe? He would love to be around for that, after all how many foxes really where able to say they where able to watch it happening. “Ah no it was no problem, I’m used to being hot, comes with the territory of having dark fur I guess” Amatsu laughed.
