A gasp and instant jump closer to the other male reacted in Valerie when the woman appeared from the darkness so swiftly. A sigh rolled from his lips when he glanced behind him at faith and a chuckle rolled from his lips. "Yea. I bet. Busy getting ******** or ******** up?" The teen's question was fairly rhetorical and he slowly released the detective's arm.

Valerie's eyes widened and he smacked the woman's forearm with a mumble that half sounded like 'shut the ******** up'. Valerie turned back to the detective with a forced smile and pet his cheek with a long painted fingernail. "Faith's a slayer. She was called upon when the other one died underwater but then, sadly, the other one came back into consciousness leaving faith with all that built up tension and power." The teen's voice was pouty though his words held vital information.

Embarrassment tore through Valerie like a gust of wind and the overly expressive teen leaned back against the wall of the police station with his hand to his chest. "St-stop sucking? You've been in this town to long. You've gone mad." Valerie spoke through a gasp and his eyes cut into Faith through his hair that now hung over his eyes.
