Mayu was a little surprised when he just started walking. She followed behind him and decided that that was awkward so she walked beside him. "Do you live near here?" She asked him curiously.

Justin nodded. "Yup. My house is just a bit to the north of here." He told her. His house was a mess, but it was HIS mess. No one bothered him there, and he got his peace.

Mayu nods. "That's neat. I bet it really peaceful living over here. Not much happens over here." She said while she was observing her surroundings. "I live way down south, it can get pretty busy down there."

Justin nodded. Sure, he liked the peace he got from his home, but any place with a lot of people made for good cover. He then looked around, taking in a small breath of air, then letting it out. For some reason, he felt more at peace with Mayu around.

Mayu smiled a little to herself. She could tell that he was one of those people that did not talk much, but that was okay, it seemed peaceful. There was still that one question in her mind, Why was he running?

Justin smiled. He was glad to be spending his day doing something OTHER than hide, for once. The young ice demon needed a break from it all. Spending time with Mayu was a plus, too.

Mayu continued walking and they were a little deeper in town now. "Were are we going?" She asked him. "Or do you have nowhere in mind?" She asked Justin. Mayu hummed softly while waiting for an answer, she did not feel nervous around him anymore it seems.

Justin shrugged. "I don't really have anywhere in mind. Just wanted to walk around aimlessly." He said. He was glad to have someone to walk with.

Mayu nodded. "That sounds good." She told him and looked over at the sun, it was setting now. She took down her blue hair clip and slipped it in her pocket.

Justin smiled. He looked up at the setting sun, feeling calm. Despite the cold nature of his powers, he was a warm person. He enjoyed watching the sunset because to him, it promised a new tomorrow filled with peace. Sometimes, the promise was empty, but it still gave him hope for a better life.

Mayu closed her eyes for a couple of seconds to enjoy that moment. When she opened the she glanced over at Justin and then back at the setting sun. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

Justin nodded. "Yeah, it is." He agreed. Sharing this moment with someone else, however, was even better.

Mayu nods and looked down at her watch. "Oh!" She exclaimed. "It's getting late, I need to get home." She told the other. "Well, I hope I can see you tomorrow." She told him and ran off to get home.

Justin waved goodbye to Mayu, then smiled. He welcomed the change of pace he got from Mayu's company. He then began his trek back to his house.

Once Mayu got home, she noticed that he mother still was not there . She walked to the kitchen to make dinner and her mother arrived. Her mom was cursing under her breath about "demons." Mayu sighed and shook her head, wondering when he mother will stop obsessing over mystical things. Mayu finished dinner and made enough her her mother and herself. She went to the living room to eat.
