"MMMDMDHDGCGS!?!??!!" She said, flailing around and glaring ice shards up at the Lieutenant. She had never seen him before, but damn if she was not going to forget his face!
Attemping to not go down without a fight, she brought her knee's up and around.. a attempt to knock the white haired man with them.

Zinkenite yanked backwards on Ilmenite's collar to move him away from the worst of the kick damage but he was laughing all the same.
"No...no it doesn't have to be tonight. Tonight I'll give you a grace period...if for no other reason than you actually managed to get her to 'SHUT UP' He said pointedly to the girl on the ground.
"If you keep trying to hit us...I will knock you out again and then have him duct tape you to one of the flag polls that hang off the SIDE of a building... clear?"
He told her with narrowed eyes... he'd teach her to respect the Negaverse one way or the other, same as he'd beat her free of the strings that her fellow senshi had clearly re-sunk into her.

She couldnt help it, the events of the past week just... crept up to her. Being bitten and strangled by Tanzanite, Strangled and dropped in a dumpster by Zinkenite, Hugged by her arch nemesis and then energy drained... Knocked out by a Civilian whom she FIGURED was now dead...
It was just too much for her to take. Too much, too soon. She figured the two of them would not care.... but her glare up at the two of them slowly softened and she looked away. Only to start to cry.

Cognitive dissonance; Ilmenite stood back, huffing out a breath, still hurting, and then was left just staring down at the poor girl like an idiot.
Was she crying?
s**t, she was crying.
He made a noise, flicking a look up at Zink and trying to hold onto the certainty that she was crazed anyway, but it was definitely harder when she looked like a depressed teenager than when she was being a mouthy young woman. "Um."

Zinkenite gave Ilumenite a hard look "This...is a war, she'd kill you if she could please remember that." He said with no room for argument before he seemed to contradict himself by crouching and toying with one of her long trailing strands of hair.
"Shhh... Don't worry Lyra, you didn't fail... we returned the civilian to his home... but you see... Ilumenite here, my lieutenant, we did save him... you didn't. That's the kind of thing the people pulling your strings will never tell you. We save lives, indirectly at times but lives are saved... sometimes...by killing we save more people than we hurt. Think about that for a while...and if you work at it... I'm quite sure you can be free and home in time for supper...good luck."
He patted her shoulder and stood.
"Alright...let's go."

Lyra wishes that she had duck tape shoved into her ears too, or that she could at least bite at the hand that was touching her... but alas, both not possible. Instead she still felt the tears hot on her face, running down her chin before dropping to the cold cement.
...Oh how she wanted to do something, anything. But with herself gagged she could not even mutter her words of power, she was quite literally unable to do much besides make faces at the two. Oh how she wanted to say she had never killed one of their kind...
Instead she found herself fidgeting, pulling her wrists and ankles apart...eventually her senshi strength would win, but it would take time.

It would take time and by the time she was free, both Ilmenite and Zinkenite would hopefully be long gone. For now, at least, he followed the General out with just one last quick look back toward Lyra. Not sure where they were going exactly, but this didn't seem like a bad plan anyway...
"...um." he'd said that already, hadn't he? Ilmenite paused and let Zink stretch out a few steps in front of him, wondering how hard it would be to pick up and move and essentially disappear from the man's radar.

"... Remember what I said about desertion." He said calmly. "planning to go back and -help- her or what are you thinking now?"
He turned and frowned at the new Lieutenant, maybe he should have waited, this was frustrating...everything was frustrating these days.
"Alright...spit it out before I drag it out 'What is Um'" he demanded and, had it been anyone who might have gotten to a movie house to see it he would have added a reference about Alice and Wonderland, because he'd rather enjoyed it... but it was Ever, and it would have been a waste of effort.

He was tall and awkward in the new shoes, a hand buried up into the back of his hair and expression gone stunned. Ilmenite definitely was now wondering if Zink could read his mind.
That would be bad. He tried not to think anything incriminating. That only made it worse.
"I don't know. I'm not sure. Where are you...leading me?" Not taking me, he hadn't said that, at least. Too cliche. He might have had to kill himself.

He called over his shoulder closing the distance between himself and the bus stop sign, but as he moved past it, suddenly he vanished... just gone, and the strange feeling around him with it.

Back with Lyra, Zinkenite re-appeared and stooped to tear just a little at the duct tape bindings before standing and moving quickly out of the way.
"mmm..." He said satisfied. "That should help... sorry about the Dumpster... see you in Elision...do try not to talk so much."
He gave a small wave...not so different from 'captain' Zinkenite...and vanished again, that was new... he never did that quite that much in the past.

Back in the alley, Zink would have found Lyra in rather awkward positions, shifting and flailing.. attempting to remove the stubborn as hell she-swears-is-cement-reinforced tape.
When he came back, wide eyes were what met his. Was he here to finish her off? The senshi struggled even more, a moment before he actually HELPED her... started a slight tear in the material.. enough to where in maybe a minutes time, she was free. He was long gone by then though.
"...The hell is wrong with you... Zink." She noted at his...odd behavior. The leaving the alley... that was NEW zink who dumps senshi into dumpsters... that little wave? That was old zink.
"...Damn you. Still ******** with my head even now." She mumbled, rubbing at her sore wrists as she headed home, somehow still alive.
