EpicNeko Taiko was in fact curious about what she may be talking about, but decided not to bother her about the matter, since she obviously didn't want to talk about it. Taiko finished his food and put his plate away and said, "Hm... now that we ate... what're we gonna do..." Rikku just shrugged and looked really upset. She sat down leaning against the cupboard door, brought her knees up to her chest, folded her arms on the top of her knees then lay her head on her arms and sighed.....Rikku now wished she hadn't brought that up....Rikku's wolf ears and tail appeared. Her ears went back flat against her head and her tail curled around herself just like she was on the night it all happened.

Taiko looked at Rikku as her ears and tail came out. He knelt down and lifted her chin up, so that her eyes were level with his. "Now, now. Don't be all sad. It's ok. I'm glad you told me these things... that way I know more about you..." then he kissed her forehead and smiled, "Don't be sad, Rikku. I get sad too when my pets are sad."

Rikku began to cry "I shouldn't even be here for what I did to her!" She got up ran into her room, shut the door and lay on her bed crying.

When Rikku ran off to her room, Taiko clenched and unclenched his fist in frustration. He stood up and walked over to her room's door. He lightly tapped on it, loud enough so that she will hear, and said, "Rikuu sweetie... Why are you crying? Let me in so I can talk to you, or at least hug you and tell you everythings ok" He laughed lightly at how pathetic his attempt to get her to let him in was.

Rikku lay there for a bit wondering to herself whether she should open the door. She got up wiped her face even though it was still red from her crying, and then she opened the door. She didn't say anything she just moved out of the way so he could come in then she went and sat on the bed again.

Taiko walked into the room with his hands in his pockets, his expression showed he was obviously annoyed. He looked over at Rikku when she sat back down and said, "Do you want to tell me what's wrong? Or no?" He walked over to her and patted her head and said, "There's nothing that you could have done that would change the fact your my new cute pet, along with Xion. To me you two can do no wrong." He smiled at his cheesy words, but he knew Rikku would understand how what he meant.

"Your annoyed with me aren't you?..and i can understand what you mean but i have done wrong...i have done too much wrong...my old master had a maid...but i didn't know that and one night she came late to clean his house and i mean very late i didn't know who she was and she was taking stuff off the shelf and i didn't know why i thought she had broke in to try and steal some stuff.... but she was just cleaning...but because i didn't understand that she wasn't a thief i..killed......her.....that's why i asked because i didn't want to go through all that again...i didn't have to pay for what i did not right then and there i was just sent away to a different country but now i understand that i am being punished because i have to live with what i did for the rest of my life" Rikku clenched her fists while she told him what happened. "Every day i wish i could go back in time and change it all....but then i suppose i wouldn't be here would i? even then i wish it was something else more happier that brought me here..."

Taiko shook his head and said, "Your being silly, Rikku sweetie. First off, your old master is a dumb a** for not telling you, since your a wolf. It's his fault for not telling you. If he didn't tell you there was no way for you to have known." then he stood up and sighed annoyed, then added, "And the past is dead. even a few minutes ago when you told me what happened, that time is dead. So the time when you killed that maid is dead. You can't change it, you have to forget about it and not waste the this time on being a crybaby over it..." he kissed her forehead again and said, "Besides... aren't pets suppost to make their master happy? Try to smile right now and make me happy" He laughed again at his lame words, a weak attempt to cheer Rikku up.

Rikku nodded "Your right...and thank you" She gave Taiko a hug and smiled then went out to Xion and gave her a hug too then sat on one of the seats out there.

Taiko sighed and walked to the two and kissed them both on the top of their heads and said, "Ok, I'm a little frustrated and tired. You two are free to do what ever except run away or kill me in my sleep." then he laughed and explained, "I've had many pets before, none of them have really liked me, so they would do anything to get away." Then he turned and walked toward his room yawning lightly. He shut his door half way and pulled his shirt off then went through his closet to find some sweat pants or something to wear to bed.

Rikku went wolf form and started to chase her tail a bit but ever so quietly so she didn't wake Taiko up. Then when she got tired of that she went to explore the house she came to an empty room where some sun was shining in through one of the windows so Rikku went in and curled up in the sun and went to sleep.

Taiko threw some clothes on and laid down in his bed and drifted off to sleep.

Rikku woke up a few hours later and stretched then turned to her normal form and went back out to where Xion was waiting for Taiko to wake up.

Taiko woke up about an hour after Rikku woke up. He sat up and rubbes the sleep from his eyes. He looked over at his clock and sighed. He got up and walked out of his room sleepily, not caring that he was only wearing the grey sweat pants he slept in. His hair was also a little messy.
