Maybe just a few simple subforums such as Writers, Performing Arts, Photography, Artists would be great. That way it would be easier to find threads that suit your style.

Could it be possible for you to make a contest where we have to write a short
story or something? Not all writers enjoy or are good at poetry so it's not
really fare to them. And yes, I am speaking about myself. I like poetry and all
but I'm not very good at it and I don't really enjoy writing it. I'm not mad just a
little annoyed because you have done the first two contest about poems. I promise that not all writers like to write poetry. So maybe you could do
something like that. I would be more then happy to help out with it. I have a
good way of making contest like that.

Two Threads that I would LOVE to see here.
One: An Inspiration Station,
where everyone can just post whatever inspires them
(poetry, thoughts, quotes, pictures, music, ect...)
Its good for others who have mega-artist block.
And
Two: A Grand Directory,
For the people here who own a minishop, freebee thread, or quest thread
People, post the link, and others can
-Critique the work/price offered.
-Veteran owners can give tips as the the success of the thread
-People can find an artist to suit their needs
oh~ and An Art Exchange thread would be pretty cool...

In addition to my other subforum suggestions, I suggest a recycle bin or archive subforum. That way you can move old contests into it to keep the main forum from getting too cluttered.

where is the appropriate place to discuss art? y'know besides pictures we've made and posted or poems and stuff. where can we discuss Art theory and famous artist.
Recently i posted a thread discussing Marcel Duchamps Iconic 'Fountain' ready made and the thread was deleted.
it doesn't feel right to post it in the photo dump area cause its not the photo i want to talk about, its the piece of work and the movement behind it. I also don't think its right to stick it in the chatterbox, it doesn't feel appropriate for that at all.
So as artists i think we should have an area to discuss iconic movements and art figures, I want a place were we can discuss academic theory.

I really kinda wish that the Suggestion Box was a sticky. It gets lost pretty easily in regular posts & if someone has a suggestion to throw out there they kinda are stuck searching for it. Just saying, it might be easier on people if its made into a sticky.
