Orcus followed and mapped the journey as they went along. He turned and looked inside the room. First he placed his hand through the doorway. "As I suspected." He nodded and looked at the windows. He spoke in an awkward tone of voice, "Might you allow me to go in so as to protect the windows, my Queen." He cleared his throat. "It is always easier if we do this from the outside wall and then come in." Orcus explained basic procedure calmly and aided his explanation with some small hand gestures. He was attempting to act as if he was in front of a queen, he was doing better than expected but he wasn't used to such formality. The queen of his home was a War Queen and had respect but had no sense of etiquette so everything was rowdy around her. He had to act completely different around the elves around here, as he had been reminded of not too long ago in an herbs shop. He smirked as the memory returned to him.

Orcus nodded. He took the Queens words to mind but he didn't think that she realized that he was just a lowly guard from a different land. "I just need to stop things and, in some cases, people from coming in through their. You know how things are when a neighbor gets angry, don't you?" He jested with her. "In any case, the enchantments I use on openings are an infra-wire that releases energy at any point of tension. two of those coupled with an intense tele-magnetic barrier should stop intruders in their tracks." His magic was a calculated science.

Orcus shook his head. "It's not whether or not, it's when. We must always be prepared." He waited at the threshold of the door, looking at the queen. "Don't take me wrong. I understand the peace that reigns through your lands and your peace with your neighbors but not everyone can identify with elves and not everyone can give you the same privilege." Orcus raised his hands and dropped his head in his favorite "what if" mannerism. "What would your people do if some rogue asset from another state raised his dagger and took your life? It's simply not safe to stay in such low security quarters as a reigning queen." He looked up. "That's all I'm asking, let me keep you and your people happy."

"Fine do what you must." she said a little angrily. She didnt know what they would do if she did die. She wasn't married and had no children, so know one could take over. As for all the suitors, she didnt want to marry any of them because she knew they only wanted her money and power. "If its whats safe then do it" she said sadly.

((Yousei we're up stares in the queens room))

Orcus nodded and stepped into the room. He walked to the first window on his right and raised his hands to it. Hr tapped the sill about a third of the way down with his index finger and moved a small, bright red line of mana from one side to the other. He moved his finger down another third of the way and did the same. Orcus then place his hand between the two and a bright green aura glowed around him, this raised the barrier that would make anyone on the other side numb and made the lines invisible. He continued to the next one and did the same. He finally reached the window where the queen sat. "Don't worry, the strings are virtually invisible and the barrier is pure energy. It's more comfortable then having a guard in your room day and night." He gave her a kind smile and then noticed the elf out of the corner of his eye. "Evening." His hand raised itself to his waist, where he kept his dagger.

Orcus smiled as he found out who the man was. He turned and bowed his head with fist at heart. "Orcus, Queen's personal guard." Orcus stuck close by the queen. He would now be far kinder around the man but a simple name and position wouldn't be enough to take his guard down. He then stood at attention as he waited for the queen to say something. At first he was doing his job but now that the man was identified as a friend he was speaking out of place and kept quiet.

Orcus turned his attention to the window sill again. He tapped the sides just as he did before and placed his hand in the middle. He finished and light beamed through the windows as if nothing was there. The light made his armour's details shine out, ones that he had taken notice of only now. He stood in place next to the queen, halberd still mounted on his back and dagger still in sheathe. His throwing knives were tucked under certain parts of his armour and robes. He rustled around, still not used to the heavy plate mail but it wasn't bothering him as much as earlier that day.

Violet looked at the smoke in aw for a second then turned back to orcus. "Orcus do you really need all those weapons on you at all times? Your may put them in your room if not" she said. She walked to the door of her room and held the door open for him to walk out.
