"MOTHER F---KER" Zink swore and tugged up the hem of his coat with one hand and shoved the other onto Alkaid's shoulders to shove her under the hem of it, the chain rode up his rib cage and he prayed -it- didn't get to hot in this fight too because he had no way of taking it off, just covering it.
Right now priority was not to be cooked like a lobster and to keep Alkaid from being the same,
"Are you alright?" He asked, the coat was far from perfect protection but at least it would keep it off truly bare skin right?...at least for now...once it was soaked, well...

Europa couldn't help but already feel some camaraderie for Ganymede, despite having just met him. She had no way of knowing how long he'd been awakened without her knowing, but she had a million questions bubbling up that she wanted to ask him.
Tate, on the other hand... was Tate. She'd developed a habit of holding the older girl at an arm's length just because of her tendency to run into her in both civilian and senshi forms. That said, it was strange to see her here... What were civilians doing in Elysion?
"Tate, this is going to sound stupid," she said, and knew it to be true because anything you had to preface with that statement was inherently stupid, "But do you remember how you got here?"
No time to wait for an answer. A geyser went off in front of them. Europa took a hasty leap backwards and glanced uphill, judging where the waterspouts seemed heaviest. She pointed further into the zone. "Let's keep moving," she said. "Don't stay in any one place for too long."
Because, you know, there was a senshi scalder at work.

Periwinkle goes with Sleep, we pick 2!
Sailor Chibi Hypnos was about to call out again when there was a geyser explode with scalding hot water not very far from the small child. She yelped out and immediately curled up close to the ground, covering her face into the plushie she had. Oh, this wasn't anything like the other place! There was no back to piggyback on this time. There was no wings to carry her from the water that seemed to attack her. What did she ever do to the water? She took her baths everyday and even played with it! She loved the water, she couldn't understand why it would suddenly attack her like that!
"But but..." she murmured. "I took my bath before bed... why are you so mad?"

Atlas watched with muted horror at the plume of steam that rose up from below his feet, first in small, harmless wisps that could have been rising from a pot of water. But then -- but then the ground began hissing and shrieking like a mammoth-sized teakettle, and the senshi's own screams matched the noise in pitch as he jumped the ******** away.
Oh god. Oh god oh god it was everywhere. In a fit of clumsy attempted agility, he skirted around the newly-formed cracks in the rock, trying not to get splashed by the scalding water and ash that were gushing out from below. A few flecks of the stuff managed to land in his hair, making him hiss in pain, and then -- very suddenly -- he got an idea.
"Falling Force Snare!"
He invoked his attack with his hand splayed in the direction of one of the geysers. If he was lucky it would keep some of the water pushed down and give him a safe place to stand!

Geysers were frightening, and even more frightening when you were low to the ground.
It was only after she had started clinging to the senshi that she realized it was probably bad from a tactical point of view to hold onto a soldier and had to stop and think about whether she wanted to release her from her claws and let her go.
She did, and hey, if Maia got scratched it was clearly a badge declaring her affection and trust... or something. Anyway, <******** geysers.

Gomeisa stumbled on the hardened earth trying to keep her barrings, the heat was causing sweat to drip down her brow, and the slightly too big tiara kept slipping down her face and into her eyes.
The brunette was more interested in exploring Elysion than in battle, she had taken part..only slightly in the very first battle, and didn't know anything about the Quail's field and the Negas foothold. At the sight of Negaverse and Senshi seemingly coming together she tensed uneasily.
She shivered involuntarily as the shout rang out, it wasn't by any means chilly in the area, but she was so frightened. This was going to be a nightmare. Whatever was here, wanted them out.

Zone 2
Maia in her dancing saw Hypnos, then a geyser shot up in front of the girl and she seemed to fall over. She hardly realized that she be clung to by the cat or that she been released, in her worry. Maia frowned deeply, giving a nod to Zirc before heading over to the girl dogding another geyser half way there. "Be right back."
It did take much to reach the girl, she wasn't to far off. Maia stood beside her, "Hey Hypnos," she said smiling, "come on. Stick with me. I wouldn't want you to get burned."
Another water spot went off far to close to Maia and she went stark still feeling the heat against her backside. She held a hand out to the chibi senshi, hoping she would take it, so they could move away.

Tate was a bit slower to dodge back than Europa was; she stumbled, cursing, and scrubbed at her arms as if that'd make the scalded part of her skin stop aching. It didn't, which she realized and abruptly dropped her hands to her sides. Well, alright. She definitely... her shoes needed to not melt. And she didn't want to expose her feet to that water.
"No," she said, in response to Europa's question. "I was laying down to sleep. And I woke up here." Something was weird here, though. "Shouldn't there be... fighting? Taranis says that senshi and the Negaverse are pretty well enemies." That was what Zinkenite and Wolframite said, too...
You know, she was noticing a pattern. Not in the geysers, which she was too tired to really make sense of any more than jumping to avoid them, but just in the senshi she met. They all asked dumb questions and treated her like an idiot. Well... maybe she deserved it for now, but.

Still Square 4
It was so hot. TOO hot. He felt as if his face was melting and already his clothes were clinging to him, taking what little air he had from him. not even fighting yet and he already felt overheated. Then again, wearing all black, tight clothes to your neck wasn't helping, and he reached up to unbuckle the collar to at least get some air. Part of him wondered if it was better to keep his jacket on or off, but seeing as he could barely breath, he reached up and undid the emerald buttons to his jacket and popped them. It was a hard process with all the buttons and then the sash, but he managed it all the same and threw off his jacket to the ground. At least he had a gray shirt underneath. A long-sleeved gray shirt. Have mercy, he was still melting, but as least he wasn't about to pass out just yet.
In a FWWWOOOSOSSHHH, his discarded jacket shot up by him and into the air. Thrown up by a geyser of hot steam and scalding water. Jumping back, he moved and then found another geyser to leap up from the ground in front and then further to his left. Water fell from above, but instead of being refreshing, it only added to the heat, and Wolframite moved to avoid any melting showering.
Too hot! TOO HOT! Where was Castor and his ice when you needed it.

Square 8 seems to have a fantastic view for Moonstone!
In the arms of Morpheus most found healing sleep; for the people of Destiny City, they found battle and hardship instead. Pandora hadn't fought her night-time lover, but she had cursed him roundly before succumbing to his leaden arms. She knew what waited, but only in the most vauge of manners - nothing she'd dreamed could have prepared her for Leopard Eye's Volcanic Playground.
Oppressive heat slammed into Moonstone's slender body like a hammer and rose up through the leather moccasins encasing her feet. She felt like sweat immediately breaking over her body, though it did no good to cool her - even the braid holding her hair back couldn't cool her at all - in seconds the whole of her body was damp with sweat, her hair soaked as though she'd just stepped from the shower. But the extreme heat, nose-burning sulphur scents and hot-water geysers didn't deterr her from her post, no, she would stand strong and proud with the other Negaverse agents and kick the asses of the Senshi interlopers...she wouldn't back down from the harsh screaming of the Guardian making their dream-lives even harder than before.
Vaugely she thought she recognized people, but didn't have the time to wonder about it; the geysers were making it hard - the water was scalding and left angry welts on her skin whenever it touched her - though most of her skin was covered, her hands were not. Also, she had to worry about her mask...the wood would warp from the heat and water...or would it? This was a dream, right? Ah well, she pulled it from her belt, wound the strap around her hand and used it to help block the water from her face - if the wood warped, that was okay. Warped and water logged wood was heavier and she could still smash the yowling moron Guardian with it...or a senshi or three, right?

Barren; Ever drew in several deep breaths and turned in place just in time to see the spout of water exploding up from cracked earth. Moments later, and he probably would have been largely immersed in the mess: as it was, he danced back a few steps, stumbling through some standing water, still warm enough to leave him gasping.
"s**t. Damn." No one else within easy reach, though he spotted figures moving in the nearby areas. At least he wasn't dumb; he moved immediately to yank off his shirt and dance farther from the water, eyes darting about as he did. Grateful that he was wearing something, at least, he quickly tore the shirt in half and wrapped his feet, before twisting around again and raising his voice.
"Hello? Anyone?"
He seemed to be alone in square 6.

Leopard's Eye was laughing, a low and deliberate sound that made the rocks at the edge of the volcano's rim shake and bounce. He might have been content to do just that, had one senshi's audacious attack not caught his attention. Fiery eyes swiveled towards the boy from atop his charred perch, pausing briefly as the teenage japanese boy inside of him rejoiced.
Because he was the tower of ******** Mordor.
Another angry, wordless snarl escaped him, a fist crashing once again into the rock. The tremor cracked the ground beneath Sailor Atlas feet, waters from the spring below pushed up by the pressure. The water was warm, but not scalding. It was, however, enough to buoy the boy up in the air should he not move out of the way quickly enough.

The chibi senshi had been looking at the ground when someone had addressed her. She... she didn't remember meeting this person before. How did she know her name? These were questions the child should have considered, but she didn't. She grabbed Maia's hand and soon found herself standing on her twos again. She looked up, and tilted her head. She had red hair! How pretty. Her bunny slippers digging into the ground as she went with the other senshi. She was mostly quiet as she thought. It was okay to ask, right? She decided it was.
"Um... have you by any chance seen a little birdy or a big kitty? I'm trying to find them..."

It was with an uncannily cartoonish-sounding screaming that Atlas was pushed up by the water several feet into the air, the force of the geyser bouncing and flipping him in every direction but never quite letting him down. Within a matter of seconds the poor senshi had forgotten not only what direction up was in, but also how to control his body like a normal human being as his limbs flailed helplessly about him as if he were some sort of discarded ragdoll.
Leopard's Eye would find a good reason to hate the senshi side more that day: at least the Negaverse didn't throw up all over their sanctuary.
