Dr. Alden Wong

Alden didn't mind her quiet nature, mostly focused at this point upon his work as small as it was right now. He moved her hand very gently by the wrist while being careful to not cause any pain. Didn't look too bad, just a small thing. It looked worse than it was. He let go of her hand and wrist and moved away to grab some wipes before returning shortly, glad that there were plenty of counters around for him to use.

"Alright, this'll sting a bit but don't worry about it." He told her softly as he began to dab away the excess blood from the wound. It was a disinfectant, the cut soon looking much smaller than it initially did without all the bodily fluids. He tossed the wipe in a nearby trash can and grabbed a band-aid and the ointment. Opening the ointment while humming lightly to himself, he dabbed it onto her wound with deft careful fingers before placing the band-aid. It was big enough to cover the cut and stick pretty well to her skin. "There ya go! Watch out for those art supplies, I swear they like to bite at people." His smirk rose back up to his features, his lone eye raising to meet her gaze as the bell rang overhead. "Ah, well. Have fun." He then returned to his wheely chair and flopped down upon it, brushing his bangs aside a bit. It wasn't like it mattered that they covered his eyepatch after all.

((Weekends and nights suck for me in terms of getting on. Sorry guys))

The rest of the day proceeded normally. Hunter had won over Tom fairly easily but that didnt mean they were friends. What it meant was Hunter would tutor Tom on the side, quietly, and if he got into trouble Tom would help him out. Hunter's position on the board was not yet strong enough to make any more plays. So he didnt.

He headed to the class he shared with Kara and once more sat in the back as usual. There was one difference though. One subtle difference. He waved shyly at Kara and said softly. "Hello." And then he was in usual seat taking notes and playing several games of Risk at once on his computer to pass the time.

Shortly after it was lunch and as was his habit on the days Greg had practice during lunch he and Marissa went to the roof to eat. She smiled at him and said. "Greg says you said hi to Kara." Hunter blushed profusely and nodded.

Once Kara had sung out that last note she saw security waiting at the door for her. "Greetings gentleman. Is it that time again?" She said with a small smile, unplugging her guitar to put it back in it's case. She turned everything off and then grabbed her stuff from the stage while listening to some of the applause her performance had received. "Thank you all for listening! I'm here all week. Really." Chuckling, she went with the two guards to the principal's office, giving them a big grin as they shook their head at her.

It was already into the first class of the day, for she had heard the bell ring, sighing lightly as she wondered how long this would take. The principal just stared at her for a moment before leaning back in her chair.

"Kara darling, why do you do this? You know this doesn't reflect well." She asked, taking off her glasses as her hands touched her desk.

"What can I say? I just attract trouble." Kara shrugged as she spoke, leaning back in her chair while she cross her legs. She already had heard this lecture a hundred times before and she knew that the principal knew that there really wasn't anything she could do about it.

"It's one of those days is it? Fine... Just try to get your act together. I can't stop you it would seem. And detention just makes it worse. Get off to class. And I mean, class." She told her student strictly, and yet she had given up this fight.

"Sorry bout the noise leve, I'll try to keep it down. Aye ma'am." She gave a salute as she got up and took her things with her while heading out the door. Yea. It was another one of those goddamn days.

Her expression shifted to an impassive one, not really wanting anyone to be asking her any questions. She walked through the empty halls and stretched while glancing about. Only a few people were around so she assumed they had first lunch. Poor bastards. Cracking her neck, she brushed some hairs back from her face, hearing a song float through her head. Hmmm....

She did go to her first class and ignored some of the snickers she heard, passing off a note to the teacher before sitting down. Great. Another ******** day of bullshit. Thankfully the class went by a lot faster since she missed a good portion of it, but she was far too conflicted about a lot of things to really want to go to any classes. So once the bell rang, she was off like a light up to the roof, being very careful not to get spotted by any of the security or teachers. Even if they were used to her by now. One never knew who could be on your side or not. She had already made that mistake once, and she wasn't about to make it again.

Once the door opened, she was greeted by the sunlight, taking a deep breath in to absorb it. God it was just so much better outside. School was a prison. She and Amaya had come to this agreement. It was too stuffy, too restricting, too.... ugh. Sitting down in her usual spot, she pulled out her guitar and began to play a few songs, humming along the melody line if she felt like it.

And thus she was until she felt calm enough to actually go to a class. Her guitar slid into it's case and she was ready to go, heading downstairs while being as mindful as ever. Soon she arrived at her classroom and she sat down in her usual seat, noticing that Hunter waved to her. She just sort of held up a hand to return the greeting, but it was pretty lackluster. She pulled out her notebook and took notes, wishing for the day to just end already. She needed out, she needed to play, she needed..... She sighed. There was just a lot of things that she needed to change.

The minute the bell rang she was off to the auditorium again, glad that her last two periods were lunch and...well it was basically a free last period. So she found her place and set everything back up, being very mindful of the volume this time. The last thing she needed was another trip to visit El Presidante. She fiddled around for a while and popped some food she brought with her in her mouth, taking a moment to think over what she should try to learn next. She already knew a lot of songs, so that wasn't really an issue.

Oh well, another time maybe. Pushing herself up, she stood in front of the mic and paused as a different song from earlier came to mind. She had adapted it carefully considering guitar wasn't one of the initial instruments, but she was satisfied with how she had done this. And then she began to sing. It was Against all odds by The Postal Service. And like before, she heard the doors open as a few people who also had lunch sneak in to listen. She apparently had a few fans that liked to hear her perform during her off periods like this. Well that, and people got bored. And music was always better than boring silence. She didn't really mind to be honest.

Adan Waters

But of course, the day really gets worse when you were at the peak of thinking it wouldn't - couldn't - because he was shouted at by a customer who didn't know how to act properly in front of a lot of people, and was probably just gone home from a busy day at work, where he apparently got yelled at, too. And he was dumping all of his crap on Adan. Who didn't really know better. And who really didn't care. His boss had talked with the customer and apologized for whatever wrong the teenager had done - Which was nothing, - then said sorry to him too.

The manager didn't have any fault in this. And yet, she was the one who was going around apologizing. It didn't really make him feel any better.

And of course, his brother Samuel also had something to add on his sundae of miserable anger. Sam had laughed his stomach out when Adan had hoped for some wisdom when he relayed the day's events to his brother. He didn't get some. He just added the sprinkles on the sundae.

When they got home, their landlady approached them, along with her string of noisy husband, and shouted at them so loudly that the other occupants of the building had opened their doors just to see what she was usually fussing about. Yes, thank you for the bananas, Madam. His husband didn't help either. They usually showed in the movies that if the other is loud and proud in a marriage, the other one was quiet and humble. Not really.

When the husband had escorted them back to their floor, saying sorry for his noisy wife in a slurred voice, then laughed and told them stories Adan didn't really want to hear. And his breath smelled so strongly of alcohol, and the freshman had pursed his lips. Probably hadn't brushed his mouth in days. Thanks for the chocolate syrup, sir.

And, lastly, it was Adan's turn to clean up whatever needed to be cleaned up in the house. Which was a lot. Pizza cartons there, unwashed glasses, forks, plates and spoons there, scattered clothing, books away from their bookshelves; he slept on his feet while punching in the code for the washing machine to spin, and woke up on the cold tiles, at exactly 7:59 in the morning. Huh. Well, what do you know, the red cherry's placed neatly.

And so, he spent the rest of his day at school glowering at everybody in sight, driving any of his friends away. He was being dangerously quiet during lunch, thinking about how much of a helpful brother Samuel was, and only partly listened to whatever his lunch mates were chatting about. He would surely be shown as the Grouch or whatever. Great.

Hunter and Marissa made easy conversation the rest of the lunch period until Greg arrived. He hugged Marissa and kissed her soundly. Then he turned to Hunter. "Whats up big pimpin?" Hunter actually chuckled. He was at ease for once.

Grinning he led them down the stairs and back to the rest of the school. The three had math now. Their least favorite subject.

As the last note hovered into the air, Kara opened her eyes and glanced around, noticing that there were a few more people here than before. Smirking, she bowed to their applause, grimacing as she heard her stomach grumble. Dammit. Sighing, she packed up real fast and flicked everything off, making a decision as to what she would do next. After food though because food is important. Even if the food is crap. Wonder whats on the menu today.

Shouldering her bags with a light sigh, she paused as she felt her phone vibrate, pulling it out of her pocket before leaving the auditorium. Oh joy, she had to cover a shift at work. Least it means money. I swear this day couldn't get ANY better. Shaking her head, she went upstairs into the cafeteria, doing her best to ignore the explosion of sound that greeted her. Most people would leave if they didn't have the last two periods of classes, but it wasn't like she'd be any better off going home. Shifting her scarf around her shoulders, she waved to a couple of people that she knew as she stepped in line to at least grab some fruit. At this point, it was one of the few things she trusted.

Paying with a very faint smile that vanished quickly, she looked around to find a place that wasn't filled with jock idiots which was hard itself. Though she slowed as she bit into her apple, noticing the kid from the club the day before glowering at a table. His friends seemed rather oblivious to this fact though. Shrugging lightly, she walked at least in his direction, soon coming close to his table. "Careful you don't look too unpleasant. You're face could freeze that way." She spoke with a small smirk, looking at him as she headed for the door, dodging around a kid as he fell from his chair.

Aaaand.... now what to do. Maybe I should head back to the auditorium? Or maybe the roof? No... The wall ball people would be up there now... Which leaves... outside. Mmm.... worth a shot I guess. Sighing, she flipped off a few guys who gave her a whistle, not even bothering to look their way. Whistling a tune, she instead chose to wander the halls, her heels clicking softly upon the floor.

Amaya Radford

User ImageIt seemed the day was over as quickly as it had started for Amaya, at least they were in the last two periods of the day. She really had no reason to go home yet, so she went outside, where it seemed the most quiet to be able to practice her karate, and a few new Krav Maga moves she had learned last night. Martial arts seemed to calm Amaya down more than anything else, that was legal anyway...but she seemed to focus better and she was always able to think a little more clearly afterwards.

Adan Waters

Adan was less than dumbstruck when he was spoken to by the sophomore whom he saw at the prodigy club yesterday. The girl practically breezed through Mao, despite how hard it was. So, the pretty girl actually had brains.

Shaking his head, the teenager stood up from the table and grabbed his lunch and tossed all of the contents inside the trash can, save for the milk carton, which was conveniently nearby. Maybe the girl was right. Maybe he should loosen up a little. Blend into the crowd again. The cause of her noticing him might as well be his scowling face.

"Whoa, was that Kara Sycamore?"

"Man, did she just talk to you?"

"Do you know how lucky you are?"

"Where did you meet her?"

"Introduce me to her, and I'll do your homework."

"Adan, introduce me to her and I'll pay for your lunch everyday."

Okay, okay. Wait a minute. These guys suck up to him now because Kara talked to him? They're willing to kiss *ss just for that girl? Just how valuable was she? Okay, sure, she's got the brains. She's got the face. And the body. Okay, never mind, point taken. But Adan was not about to use his senior's name just because he could have more popularity. Then he'd be known as a boy packed full of lies.

Walking away from them with just a troubled smile, Adan sipped the remains of his milk carton, then tossed it in the trash can when he was done. The guys continued to follow him like lost puppies, endlessly barking for food. Just have to ignore them until this day ends. Ignore, ignore, ignore.

The tune that floated on the air drifted to silence, instead replaced by the constant click of her heels on the linoleum floor, taking a deep breath. She blew it out with a heavy sigh, her ears perking up as she heard the chattering of whispers, glancing back to see a few boys snickering. Though when they caught her eye they immediately shrank away a bit, making her inwardly facepalm. Kara knew she was basically the heart throb of the school. She knew it. She knew some people thought she was stuck up about that fact. She knew plenty of the girls disliked her for this. And no, she didn't get a say in it. It was really..... isolating.

Walking up to her locker, she stood there for a moment in thought before she kicked it. Hard. The clang was rather loud, startling a couple of people that were around. She could sense the heads wanting to poke out of doorways, waiting in case any of the staff decided to say something. Thankfully.... no one did. Breathing out, she bit into her apple and made quick work of the lock with her free hand. She switched her books around, shutting her locker quietly. She needed to stop this. She was only hurting her chances at getting away from this life by playing all the stuff she did. A college will only see a delinquent. Or... She grimaced as all the things she kept bottled up threatened to just seep out.

Taking another bite, she tossed the rest in a nearby garbage can, she heard the bell ring again signaling that it was time for the last glorious period of the day. She leaned back against her lock while adjusting how she held her guitar and bag, her head bowing as she heard everyone explode out of their classes. The voices... the sheer cascading hormones that bounced off the walls.... the stares.. Her hair had fallen in front of her face a bit, no one managing to bump into her at all. She was trying to be in her own bubble and push out the rest of the world that wanted in.

Maria Alexander

Maria smile as Dr.Wong fix her wound. She forgot that she was quick bleeder but shock how little the cut was.

The bell rung as Maria had self-confidence back. Class started. "Thank you." She replied as she giggle. "Yes, We will make great art." Maria bow to him as she walk off to her art class.

Entering her class, all the students were at their correct seats. Her eyes would witness some had their stuff out while others were lazy to do any last. The teacher's hands clasp together. "Well...well...well...We have three more days before it due. So cook great art."

Students nodded while some moan. Maria's aura was bubbly as brushes stroke on the canvas.

After that class, it was same as the others. Lunch was different. Maria revert back to her mousy form as she ate in her classroom. She never socialize with teachers during lunch hour or any hour that did not relate school.

Last period bell rung as it was her planning period. Maria tends to clean up the studio but saw the leftover cupcakes she had. Her belly was full but she wonder about the nurse.

"Maybe, it could be a thank you gift." She muttered as she decide to visit the nurse once more. "Hello?"

Alden bade Maria good bye, chuckling at her sudden attitude change. He leaned back in his chair and smirked a bit, thinking over her little bow with another shake of his head as he then began to go over some paperwork that he had. Sure enough, throughout the day he was visited by some rather lazy schmucks who just didn't want to be in class, inwardly shaking his head. And a couple of others even just came to say hi. It was nice to not just be visited by the bums of the school.

At one point it got particularly slow, and that was by the end of the day. He gave a huge yawn, picking at the meager remains of his lunch with a sigh. And thus another slow day comes to an end. He got up and started cleaning up the place a bit, taking care of a quick injury before he heard a familiar pair of shoes. Or maybe it was just him?

Looking up from his cleaning work, he saw that it was Maria once more, blinking as he tilted his head, broom in hand. "Hello Maria. How is your cut doing?" He asked with a small smirk, glancing down as he swept up the last bit of gunk in his room. Tossing it out, he felt quite satisfied, returning the broom to its closet as he gathered up his things. "I trust no more art supplies decided to n** at you hm?" He chuckled, pausing to look over to her once more with his lone eye.

Alden was teasing her again about the art supplies. Maria gave out a small giggle as she shook her head no. "No art supplies gave me trouble." She mutters to him in a mouse like tone.

She show him the cupcakes as she wanted to give him. Her face was blushing since school was over for her. Maria could never knew what to talk about with others.

Alden smirked, realizing full well that she had reverted back into her meeker state. But he didn't comment upon it, for what was the point? Each had their own persona's and that was all he could really say on the matter. "Well thats good though." He was about to ask what really brought her here though when she suddenly revealed the cupcakes that she had.

Quite honestly, he just sort of stopped and stared at them for a moment, dumbstruck. "Are some of those.... for me?" He asked her hesitantly, a little unsure as to what he had done to deserve such treats. He did reach out and take one though, holding it in his hand for a moment while his eyes raised up to her features, but of course she wasn't quite looking at him it seemed. When some girls blushed, they could just be so cute. It was something he had begun to notice over the years.
