Mitsu was about to down the liquid but Shun had quickly snatched it from her hands just as her lips touched the vial. "S..Shun!" She nearly shrieked, her eyes wide and frightful. "P..please, don't.." In an attempt to regain the vial she reached out for it.

"Oh, you'll take it?" Suto questioned with a raised brow. "And what makes you think that will do any good for me?" Looking toward Mitsu, Suto seemed very amused. "Why so uptight my dear? He's willing to bite the bullet for you, you should be grateful. Why don't you have a seat over there, hmm?" Suto gestured to a chair on the other side of the room. "Your friend and I have business to discuss if he wants to do this."

"B..but..." Mitsu looked to Shun in a doubtful way. "Please don't do this..." She whispered.

"Shun!" Why did he never listen to her? He always ignored what she asked and did what he thought was best. She knew he had her best interest in mind but... "You always think of me and never think of yourself. I would rather you hate me if that's how you're going to be...." She hated the thought but it was true. If it would keep him from throwing himself in danger all the time.

"Well, for one," Suto started as he plucked the empty vial from Shun's hands. "You could have waited for further instruction before downing the liquid. What could do some damage to her could kill a normal human." He held the vial in his hand rather delicately before shrugging and tossing it to the side where it shattered against the floor. "Her make up is quite a bit different now, so what you took could very well be poisonous." Suto didn't seem terribly upset, more amused than anything.

"P...poisonous?!" Mitsu's eyes widened to the size of saucers before she turned to Shun. "A..are you okay? D..do you feel any different?"

She had started to move but Suto placed a hand firmly on her shoulder. "I believe I told you to take a seat. You are rather antsy today." Leading Mitsu over to the chair he had indicated earlier, he sat her down despite how much she tried to move so that she could see Shun. Once he had her in place he strapped her wrists down to the arms of the chair. "There, now sit calmly for a while."

"I..It's not that I want you to do nothing, but...do you think I want to watch you get hurt in my place? If something happened to you...because of me...do you honestly think I could live with myself?" The tears had already started falling one after the other, cascading down her cheeks to run off her chin. "I don't want to lose you like I lost Ginji."

Suto smiled as he stood back and took in the situation. "My you two are having quite the words today. But I think I can guess the problem." He grinned leaning down toward Mitsu but looking over toward Shun. "A lovers' quarrel." He paused for only a moment before he seemed to realize something. "Or a one sided love I should say, shouldn't I?"

Mitsu's eyes went wide with what Suto was saying, the color draining from her face. Not only was he on route to the problem but his phrasing was rather....cruel. Fists clenching tightly she continued to look at Shun with teary eyes hoping he wasn't taking in this mad man's words. But was there...something wrong with Shun? It looked like he had shuddered but it was hard to see passed the liquid in her eyes. Was the drug taking effect? What was going to happen to him?

"That's right, it was only a couple of days ago that a certain someone came to you." Suto mused stepping behind Mitsu. He enjoyed the frightened look on her face, the tears running down her cheeks, the heightened heart rate. It was a symphony. Leaning down again he whispered into her ear. "He put his heart out there for you didn't he?"

"S...Stop.." Mitsu said softly trying to lean away from the science teacher.

"And what did you do? You took that affection, his love, and you crushed it."

"S..Shun? Shun!?" Mitsu looked a bit panicked seeing how shaky and unsteady the assassin had become. It had started working so quickly against him it had her fearing the worst possible scenario. Pulling against one of the straps holding her wrists down, Mitsu shifted in her seat. The scientist and their particular situation wasn't the primary focus on her mind. "Shun are you okay? Talk to me."

"Leave her alone you say? So you don't want to see her cry over you? Get a little revenge?" Suto grinned as he stood up watching Shun approach. "I suppose you aren't angry at her are you? Otherwise you wouldn't be here. So who is it that has captivated our young girl's heart and has stolen her away?" That smile that Suto wore looked awfully cruel. "I imagine its the vampire isn't it? What do you think, Shun? Is he the one you wish to kill now?" Suto already knew the answer but he liked to make people answer the painful questions.

"L..leave him alone," Mitsu stammered out as she pulled against her bindings again, her movements bordering on thrashing. Her eyes were wide and frightful, her arms shaking wanting to be let free so she could help her friend.

"Careful now pet, we don't want to get too stressed now. You may very well find a limit you do not wish to break."

"Why would I do that? I rather enjoy this subject. It was just too bad that I wasn't the one to break you." Though Suto still smiled despite that.

"H..he's sick, help him," Mitsu didn't believe that Shun was fine. She could see that he wasn't, hear that he wasn't. His movements were lagged, his speech was slow, he sounded like he was about to drop. "Please..do something for him.."

"And if I do what will I get in return?" Suto asked. "I've worked quite a bit on the liquid he so carelessly swallowed. I would like to see what it does to a regular human."

"B...but he'll die." Mitsu whimpered, her hands tugging and pulling against her restraints.

"That is possible, and what a waste. Good help is often hard to keep alive."

"P..please," Mitsu stammered out. "D..don't let him die. I'll do anything.."

Suto seemed rather intrigued. Not that there wasn't much he couldn't make her do but...what value did she hold his friendship? "Anything you say?"

"B...but you are worth it...please....please let me help..." Mitsu begged. At this point she could feel her heart pounding against her rib cage like a distraught animal trying to break free.

Suto smiled at Shun's attempts to look well and fit. "My dear boy, the effects you feel now are nothing compared to what you will probably feel in about five minutes. I'm not sure exactly what will happen but it should be rather interesting." Patting Mitsu on the shoulder, Suto moved around her to face the assassin.

"You are doing a fine job of fighting it off now, but I imagine you'll be singing a different tune in a moment. Internal pain isn't so easy to escape."

"You're worth it to me..." Mitsu spoke through her tears.

"It seems like the internal pain has started if not a little early it seems," Curious, Suto moved over to the boy to look him over. "Tell me, how do you feel?"

"Please just help him...d..don't let him suffer." Mitsu pleaded but it seemed Suto was inclined to ignore her for now which made her all the more frantic as she pulled hard against her restraints. Tug after tug she wasn't going anywhere but the metal bolts holding the straps down did start to give a small whine in protest to her thrashing.

"Perhaps, but I would get with answering my questions. Otherwise, I'll work with Mitsu who will tell me exactly how she feels. This is all a matter of science my dear boy. If I don't get the answers I want then I will try and try again." Suto smiled as he moved over to lean against the counter in the room, casually looking at the pair from a different vantage point. "So again I ask, how do you feel? And do try to be detailed about it."
