Justin shook his head. "Not really. Heck, I lost a bet and had to walk around with a cookie jar strapped to my head, and I didn't even react when people started laughing. I thought it looked good on me. Plus, I got free snacks! Ah...good times." He said happily.

Keiko continued to frown, wondering how Justin was able to do it. She then took a cloth napkin from the table and crouched down to pick up the broken glass. Yuki got down as well and looked at Keiko with concern. "I'm really sorry," she whispered. "This was my fault so you shouldn't be embarrassed. Let me take care of this and you go back to having a good time with Justin." Keiko looked at her friend for a moment before nodding. She handed Yuki the napkin and straightened up to look at Justin.

Justin looked back at Keiko. This little thing about him taking the blame really wasn't all that bad. He's done dumber things, ON PURPOSE. He saw Yuki helping Keiko, and he smiled. "You have a good friend, you know that?" He asked Keiko.

"Yeah..." Keiko said, looking over her shoulder at Yuki. "She and Tamara are my best friends... I don't know where I'd be without them..." She looked back at Justin and smiled gently. "I... I want to apologize for my behavior... It's really silly of me... to be the way I am... I got myself so worked up about dancing with a boy... and minus the glasses... it really hasn't been that bad... So... I want to thank you..." Before Justin could reply, Keiko's principal made her way over to her and placed her hand on her shoulder. "It's time," she said with a grin. Keiko sighed and nodded before waving to Justin. "See you in a few," she said, following her principal through the crowd.

(my pic isn't working, so I won't use it.)
Justin simply smiled. From the sound of things, Keiko's friends reminded him of Kain and Takeshi. Loyal, trustworthy, and just plain awesome. He was also glad that Keiko got over her fear. He then looked upward, staring into the lights.

Keiko glanced up at the clock. The dance was already half done. She frowned, slightly disappointed that it was going to be over soon. She was, however, glad that Justin was able to get her to open up a little. The band ended their song and Keiko walked out from backstage with her white cello in hand. There was a chair already waiting for her and she took her place. Keiko was the class president selected by the principal to play a piece with the band. She chose the song Secrets by One Republic. Making sure the rest of the band was ready, she started to play.

Justin listened to Keiko play, with a smile on his face. He was a bit bummed that the dance was gonna be over soon, but he was happy to have met Keiko and spend time with her. Seeing the band perform almost made him wish he brought his guitar. Maybe some other time, perhaps.

Keiko smiled as she played through the song; she was in her element. When she finished playing she paused for a moment before standing up to applause. She could hear Yuki cheering the loudest. Keiko took a bow then straightened up, spotting Justin smiling at her. She smiled again and blushed slightly. After bowing once more she went backstage to pack up her cello.

Justin's smile remained. He then once again wished he could bring his own musical talent to the party. Meanwhile, Takeshi knew exactly what Justin was thinking. He already knew this would happen, so he managed to sneak in Justin's guitar. He hid the case under a table the whole time. He pulled it out, then walked over to the redheaded goof. Justin's eyes widened, a grin on his face. He opened the case, pulling the jet black instrument out. Fingering the neck of the guitar, he slipped his goggles over his face. "Thanks, Takeshi." He told his friend, who simply nodded.

Once she was finished putting her cello away, Keiko set her case aside and made a mental note to take it home so she could practice her solo. She made her way down the stairs and weaved her way through the crowd to Yuki. On the way she was praised by many of her peers. "Thank you," Keiko said, slightly flushed. She smiled and made it to Yuki. "Did I do alright?" "You did fantastic!" Yuki said, grinning and throwing her arms around Keiko. "Have you seen Justin?" Keiko asked once Yuki let go. Yuki shook her head and started looking around.

Justin talked to the boy's principal about his idea, and he nodded. "Attention, ladies and gentlemen! It is my pleasure to inform you that the president of our junior class has a little follow up performance planned!" Meanwhile, Kain carried Justin onto the stage, making another crazy entrance, and placing the redhead onstage. Justin then plugged his guitar into one of the speakers, then strummed on it a bit to warm up. He then had just the song in his head for tonight. "This is for a new friend of mine! She's a great girl, and I hope she enjoys this!" He called out. He then began playing Come to Life by Alter Bridge. He picked it because some of the lyrics kinda tied to coming out of one's shell, and that applied to Keiko.

Keiko and Yuki turned simultaneously toward the stage when the boys' principal made his announcement. Keiko turned a little pink when Justin dedicated his song to her. He's something else... she thought with a smile on her face. Justin played really well! She listened to both his playing and lyrics and noticed the song was a little about her. She teared up a little but quickly wiped it away. Justin was such a great guy.

A few minutes later, the song came to an end. Justin then flashed the rock on devil horns to the crowd as they cheered. "Thank you! You're far too kind!" He called to them. He then jumped off the stage, landing on his feet, then sticking his guitar on his back with the strap. He walked over to Keiko, pulling his goggles off his eyes, and smiled. "What'd you think?" He asked. He saw her smiling in the crowd, so he could already tell she liked it, but he wanted to ask just for the hell of it. He also saw Keiko wipe her eyes for some reason during the song.

Keiko clapped and cheered with the rest of the crowd when Justin finished his performance. He then jumped off the stage and walked over to Keiko. "I thought it was great! You're really good on guitar!" She smiled and walked around him to check out his instrument. "It's awesome." She looked at it for a few more seconds before standing in front of Justin again. "You're sweet... dedicating that song to me..."

Justin flashed Keiko a bright smile. "You deserve it. I had a great time hanging out with you, and since the dance is close to being over, I decided to give ya something special." He told her. Keiko was a great girl. She was fun to be around, and she had loyal friends like he did. Plus, she was amazingly cute.
