Devlin smiled and braced himself for exactly what happened he was tackle hugged by both of his daughters at once and almost toppled over. Laughing he made an oof sound "Care-full now, you da isn't as spry as he once was." he said in genuine amusement and set them both down to get a good look at them they were almost about the same height as him maybe an inch shorter and coughed showing his surprise. "Well lets get a good look at you two." he said smiling as he stepped outside for a moment to pick up their heavy bags and bring them in for a moment.

Devlin chuckled after a moment and gave them a look over "More like your mother then this ugly mug." he said sticking his thumb in his chest he was dressed in a uniform and black overcoat with epilettes on the shoulders his hair was shorter then it was when he'd met their mother and his beard well that never went away. But he smiled and ruffled their hair some affectionately trying not to cause to much harm, "but, I can't deny you've both become decent young women." he said and unfolded some of his simple chairs so they could all sit once things were put away or at least put into a place where they were out of the way.

Devlin just shook his head smiling he was in a good mood, which was somewhat awe inspiring normally when he wasn't around his family he was in a rather neutral mood. "So n your walk to the dorms and my apartment what do you think of the school? pretty neat right?" he asked

Devlin whistled as he would to his old dog "Girls girls, need I remind you your father is a teacher here?" he said after a while but if he knew anything they wouldn't notice so he just had to go on and add a couple other things. "That and it's for people with special abilities." hes aid rather bluntly "Or special situations for that matter." e was a military man, and was used to the strange and unusual such as his boss causing a cup of tea to appear and then disappear.

"Vzdoh. what am I going to do with you girls." he said half jokingly before standing "And I'm something of a pyschic, with powers tied to the land as well." he said slowly not sure how they would react to it considering he kept it rather low key and hidden After a another moment Devlin sat back down "but uh..no I didn't read the description I was contacted via the phone and hopped at the chance."

Devlin sighed yet again "Oh I'm getting old." he said "I grew up in a world that didn't know about this stuff." he sighed and at the mention of his godson he perked up. "Now this is news, I haven't seen him since, carry the two, well since you girls were little enough for diapers." he said jokingly. "I remember a time where that boy would love to listen to me play the violin." he said chuckling and feeling older by the minute before silently putting his hand to his face and hanging his head low. "But yea that's the main part of why I'm a teacher, and sorry ana, daddy doesn't teach med, though he damn well could." he said chuckling

Devlin chuckled looking at his daughters. and simply said like the smart a** he generally was "Emma haven't you heard nerd is the word?" he said before cracking a large smile "And of course I'm still me, only gray and tired." He said chuckling he still had as much energy as ever, just he was tired of certain things. "I have a feeling either twin telepathy or you got something from your da?" he asked as he watched them confer in their minds.
