Riley's eyes went wide when Malodore blocked her from the door. Her first instinct was a rush of testosterone that filled her with the urge to fight, but she easily snuffed it out. This was Malodore, and she would never act on those instincts. Even if it was.. keeping her.. from her own bedroom?
It's voice was commanding, and while Riley instinctively wanted to rail against it, there was a separate instinct that won over her actions. Her eyes slit, and she leaned in slowly, putting her hands on the door behind it, one on each side of it's head.
No one gave her orders. No one. To hear a command like that from someone who she held very deep feelings for.. well, it was, for lack of a better word, sexy.
She would have kissed Malodore, in her own way, but before she could act on any of her instincts she was pulled away from it and twirled around. She found herself face to face with Sin, who was pressing her lips on her face. Riley blushed a few shades darker, and her expression became bewildered, with both hands flying up.
What.. the.. you.. what?!
What the Jack had just happened?! And in front of MALODORE no less?!

Meanwhile, inside the bedroom, Christof had been frantically trying to find a hiding spot. His hunch was too big for him to slip under her bed without the mattress arching over him obviously, and she'd spot him in an instance behind her chair... finally he had resigned to crouch in her closet, heart in his throat. He could hear voices on the other side of the door, and it sounded like the company had at least delayed the mind flayer... maybe there was still time to escape?
The ladder was gone, though. That only meant one thing. Swallowing deeply, he padded through the sugar-powdered carpet to the window, and trying not to look down at all if he could help it, climbed back out onto the ledge to slowly creep his way towards the safety of Barth's room once more.
Just... take it slow.
And pray she doesn't look out her window.

Malodore, for its part, just sort of... stared. In a highly nonplussed sort of way. At least that had apparently gotten Riley's mind off of things?
"Si! Si, a date. NOW. Yes. Now is the perfect time. Where?" it gave Sin a desperate look. It didn't know a thing about the demon dorms outside of Riley's room!

"You know what...it's the sugar! I should go...and have a drink of water or something and leave you two alone. We should all go and leave Malodore and Riley alone!" She turned and stalked out of the room feeling very heated, why did she ever try and investigate anything she saw on groanspring? It never ended well...she needed a hot bath...and yeah she still had that extra sweet sugar taste in the back of her mouth...or was that the taste of embarrassment?

With Riley's attention currently occupied, Jericho went on and grabbed one of the boxes of sugar and started on over towards the window. While a part of him wanted to set the whole thing on fire, he figured it'd be more discreet to just toss it out. So that was what he did instead. It was almost sad to see so much sugar go to waste, but he saw a bright part to this.
It would no doubt attract attention. With any luck, it would be some wild minis draw to the sugary treats, which would make them rather easy to round up at that point.

That was surprising. Very surprising.
When Malodore threw a gaze their way, Lizzy could feel her stomach tighten; why did she get this feeling that Chuppi and herself had said something really wrong? Stealing a glance at Chuppi, she held onto the Monster's hand and gave it a squeeze; part of her told her to run as trouble was brewing, but her eyes were glued to the scene unfolding in front of her - of course, if this had happened under different circumstances, it would actually be sweeter.
No puns intended.
"Common room - nobody really goes there this time of the night," She muttered softly, answering Malodore's question without really meaning to. As she had been spacing out, she also failed to understand that she should really be leaving right about now (as with Sin's suggestion), to leave the Mindflayer and Plague Doctor to... For lack of a better word, sort things out.

Riley's bewildered gaze now turned to Malodore. Wh..what.. a date? Now? You want to take me.. Her words faded out as several things happened at once.
All at once, Sin was explaining herself away. Riley took her explanation at face worth, understanding that the sugar might have made her say things she didn't mean - of course, she did not make the connection that the sugar could be affecting herself.
Simultaneously, she watched Jericho pick up a box of her Icky Stix, and.. and..
JERICHO! She screeched, staring directly at him. Jericho was obviously not known for his subtlety, but he certainly got the job done when he had to.
Have you all gone MAD? Riley asked - which was, of course, a touch ironic.

Calder didn't go up ladders and he didn't see any boxes of multicolored sticks of candy flying through the sky. He was only prepared for a boring day, and had come to gather Barth's laundry. He went up the steps and passed by an open door that seemed to be having one hell of a party. Demons. Why didn't they invite the other creatures? Propably full of themselves. Monsters could only improve a party. Sighing, he went to Barth's room and tried the door. Unlocked. Pushing it open, he stepped in and looked around before he spotted the demon on the couch.Yawning, the kelpie walked over and poked the demon. "Hey….I'm here for laundry." He said, and when that didn't wake the sloth demon up, he started to shake him. "HEY! YOUR FIRST BORN IS ON FIRE AND YOU RAN OUT OF FLOUR!" He shouted and when that didn't work, he gave up. Bored, he wondered if he should try a new hairstyle on the demon, but noticed the computer.
Smiling, he sat down and checked it, only to see it on the Igor's page. Sadly, logged out. However…..what was this?
He read, which was hard with a lot of shouting next door – and THIS LATE AT NIGHT – and frowned. Christof went to see Riley who….liked rainbows. Okay. Standing up, he went to the window, knowing the patchwork liked his ladder best to see if it was propped up any windows. Setting the computer aside, Calder went over and shoved his head out, looking around. What he saw was – well, it was rather amazing. Rainbow colors and sugar were all over the ground as was a ladder and, looking about, he saw Christof clinging to the side. "Hey Christof. The ladder wasn't good enough for you now. Decided to make it harder on yourself and just scale walls? You're not a cat, ya know. Well, you could be. Part of you. You're not part cat, are you?" He called out, before looking around. "Soo……………………………………what's going on?"

"Grazie," Malodore said quickly, glancing at Lizzy, its tone slightly apologetic now. It hadn't meant to scare them. And this was going all wrong.
"Riley, I told you. This is an intervention. Jericho wants to help you too. Please, either come with me or we can prepare some brains for you here. But no more of this. Its damaging you," Malodore said firmly. "I will take you somewhere else if you are too tempted to continue with these.... sticks."
"I am sorry to have worried you two," it added, ti Lizzy and Chuppi this time. "I assure you, there is alogical explanation for all this."

Calder was returned with a very terrified and sour expression as the hunchback clung desperately for his life. As he shifted, a brick wobbled under his boot and he whined, pressing himself against the wall. What was HE doing there again?? Danger on one end, danger on another... Hell and CANDLEJACK! Just... ignore him and maybe he'd go away.

He watched the other cling to the wall, failing at being a convincing Cat Woman, and frowned at what could be a very serious fall. "You know, I know you liked the cupcakes I gave you, but stealing candy isn't that smart. Look what happened to your boxes. Someone's going to be piiiisssseeedd." he looked down over the edge again, and looked back at the Igor, ears dropping. He.....he wasn't going to fall, was he?
"Um.......do you want me to help you in? Find a rope and tie it around your waist? I'm good at hauling stuff." He was a horse after all. He was rather firm and heavy when it mattered. "Or......I could go down and catch you? Want to do that?" He looked back at the Igor. "............this isn't a Igor thing, is it?"

Finally, someone was at least starting to sound sane, even if she did disagree. Riley took a deep breath, and regarded Malodore with a conflicted expression. Her voice was soft, and subdued. I don't know why you think that this sugar is damaging me, but I trust you. If you say I should stop.. then I should stop.
She gave her boxes a wary glance, and almost whimpered. They're just so good though. She sighed, resigning herself to Malodore's judgement. Her hand lifted up slightly, palm facing outward. I'll call Christof and have him help us remove the boxes.
A touch of energy around her crackled. Christof. Come.
Oops.

The hunchback jerked, pain and heat suddenly bubbling from his chest and instinctively he let go of the wall to grab at his unseen mark.
And then the wall started to sway away from him and he could hear the crackle of crumble mortar...
and his hands were flailing to grab a hold of anything, and just managed to grab onto white kelpie hair but it would seem he was too heavy for the slender horse-like boil and suddenly they were both in the air...
... Thankfully, though, a large mound of powdered candy and cardboard boxes and the thick resilient body of a patchwork Igor were there to break Calder's fall.

Calder was good at hauling things. His parents often wrapped rope around stumps and suck to pull them out of the ground back at home. He thought an Igor was no problem. It was a problem when said Igor seemed to suddenly loose his grip, grip himself as if he was having a heart attack, and then grabbed him by the hair. This wasn't what he had planned when he meant he would help him safely indoors. In fact, pulling on his head tipped over his center of gravity that would have been used to pull the Igor inside.
And Calder didn't do well with heights, which was a good thing considering he wasn't going to be up high for very long. Probably 3 seconds, tops.
It was one moment being tipped out of Barth's window, a loud whinny as the kelpie was taken over the edge, and then a hard slam to the ground. Igor or not, falling out of window and hitting the ground was not fun. However, it wasn't as fun for the Igor if they had to do any comparing.
Groaning, Calder blinked off the lights from his eyes and turned to his side. "Ugh….Christof, you big lug. What the – " Something was gabbing at his back, and reaching back he pulled out ….-a arm? Not anything but JUST an arm. It happened to be Christof's normal one and Calder knew it only because the Igor liked to punch him plenty of times and Calder usually saw it swinging at him – but it was usually attached to the patchwork.
Green eyes slowly started to look down on the ground and slowly sitting up, the river monster looked about to what was….a torso…..a ear….a foot….
The kelpie looked at a dumped puzzle of an Igor. "……………………………………Ch…Christof?" He looked around for his friend as if this was just some extra pieces and that the Igor was laying complete someplace else. He saw nothing but rainbow candy and dark, patchwork pieces. "………………………lumpy?" He called out, voice growing smaller.
His heart started to race. "………buddy?" He….He just………………He just broke his friend!!!!
Paniking, Calder started to move above, grabbing pieces and piling them together as if just pressing them close would make them reform. "Christof? Christof?! This ISN'T FUNNY!"

"Va bene," Malodore said with intense relief. "though, one thing... Will you take a photograph of yourself with your eye phone?" that should provide all the evidence Riley would need ti judge herself later.
Malodore only distantly heard a thud from outside. It rather hoped that wasn't connected to this affair, but that was probably too much to hope for...
