I'm heading out in a bit, but I'm stuck on what might be a main plot point for the sequel. If you guys have any ideas....

Well, I think after this kind of happening and with all the drama that ensued, I imagine that the friends fall apart and resent each other for whatever reason. Maybe one of the characters decide, that years later, it's time that they all get back together... so she/he plans a "reunion" at some fancy restaurant. They all agree to go because they think it's just a dinner with that particular person running the show. So, that would make for an interesting reunion. Especially if some people have a new wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend unrelated to the group and they decided to bring them.
Jack & Bella, of course would be together with their child (or without, depending on the kind of restaurant they're at.)
Alice & Adam?
Possibily Cailen & Sky?
But maybe Cailen & New Girl
and Sky & New Boy
??
idk, I'm just throwing out an idea.

Bleh, I didn't like my post anyway so I took it down.
edit: I'm taking a roleplaying break for a little bit. Especially this one which has consumed my brain lately. I've got a ton of other things going on right now to focus on so I want to give them the attention they need so I can come back and actually write something that isn't s**t.
butwhatever.
I'm pretty much just rambling now.

{So I've been wondering something for a while guys...and feel free to whack silly rumples in the face for suggesting this...but...(don't get me wrong, I loves you Poison <33) But was...adding new people to Iabom a bad idea? In hindsight, it made things more complicated to be sure...but I (for one) miss the original actors...I love that the rp is taking place so long after the other rp came to a close...but did we move up time too much? Maybe just a year should have passed...maybe just before the wedding when Terrance was a little baby...and then we could all use the same pictures...(not that I don't love the new pictures) So I thought of something I wanted to share with you. (and Adam kept pestering me to) A plot maybe.}
Its been a few months...and Tony finally got pinned for something that Harrison told him to do. (you guys can come up with that, maybe it was helping to move drugs or something, but Tony was framed) So Tony threatened to spill -everything- about Harrison's illegal activity in exchange for being bailed from jail. (by another friend of Tony's or Alexis'. A 'bad' person. Possibly just as crazy. Girl or guy) So he is now busted out of jail, and its in all the papers.
Harrison, (oddly enough) met Bella's mother when the cops showed up at the house and (like all parents) they rushed to go visit their children at the lake. So Harrison has been...really friendly with Bella's mom for the past few months. Callie thinks she might like him back, but she has no idea what business the man really runs after hours. He seems like an ok guy for forgiving cailen's debt, so Bella is...trying to come to terms with it, and maybe so is cailen?
So for a few months, things have been...estranged, but Skylar, adam, Alice, and cailen have been hanging out more and becoming better friends. Jack, Bella, and their parents are wrapped up in planning their simple wedding. (at a park or church or maybe even kenwood pond. We can come up with where later) And so far Alice is the maid of honor, and Skylar is a bridesmaid. (as by now, Bella has talked with Skylar, and apologized, tried to make friends. So maybe it was originally planned for Sky to be a bridesmaid, but at last minute in this version she decides that she just can't do it because she loves Jack too much still?) Maybe bella and sky become so-so friends and she doesn't fully blame bella, since Jack -should- have told her when he cheated after it happened? idk, you can feel free to trash that.
ANYWAY the plot. Tony is free from jail, and he is REALLY MAD about being framed by someone he used to TRUST because he thought Harrison set him up. (when Harrison didn't set him up, but it was made to look that way) So he is angry at -you guessed it- Adam. Because Adam and harrison are spending more time together (with Adam now working a day-to-day job instead of...what he used to do, in Harrison's business office).
So Tony knows that Adam is working for Harrison, and he was told (by the person who bailed him out of jail) that Harrison framed him so that Adam helped to frame him. (BECAUSE this 'person' had some plans of her/his own. Plans to botch the very heist that Tony was arrested in and the evidence that will incriminate this mystery person is in the warehouse room where Adam works. So this person wants Adam dead, thinking he knows the 'truth' and will tell Harrison (who she/he wants dead so they can take over the business). Thinking that if Harrison finds out, he'll kill her/him. So she/he has tony wrapped under her/his little finger (similar to alexis) and they plan on killing Adam when they get the chance.
So this mysterious character has been...spying on Adam. Enough to know that he and Skylar are good friends now and that Skylar has helped him with his job. (maybe sky helped adam sort papers when he was really behind at work or something) so this mysterious person thinks SKYLARY KNOWS SOMETHING! So Skylar gets kidnapped...One or two days before Bella and Jack are to get married!
There is a note, just a note and a video left behind in Skylar's room that Cailen finds because he finally decided to go over to her apartment and confess his feelings for her. (maybe) Finding her gone, Cailen finds the video and calls the police. (but the police work for Harrison, so when they say they'll look for her, they think that Harrison is the one behind this (because this mysterious person lied to them) and don't actually do anything. So While the video doesn't say to bring anything, and is just the security video, after hours of worrying, Alice gets a call to her cellphone. Its from Skylar, and its a picture of her bound up and tied in some dark and strange place.
Bella recognizes that this might be that same place where she was taken all those years ago, but she cant completely remember where the place is (because she had been in that car with her eyes closed.) so they get in their cars to try and find this place. (but when they do, its empty...and deserted...ever since the 'bust' when Tony was arrested)
So Jack and Bella head back to their apartment (yeah, they're living together) only to discover that their baby is gone, and the house is trashed. (they were looking for evidence that they believe Adam had taken, which he did unknowingly) so there is a note saying that they will give little baby Terrance back if Adam hands in the evidence. He has no idea what they're talking about, and Asks cailen for help. (since he is now going through training to become a cop since becoming mostly gambling free) Adam and Alice are not living together, but she lives in the same condominium, so they go to Alice's apartment to try and brainstorm what the crazy person could be talking about.
Unsure what to do, Adam (or one of them) decides to do the one thing they swore (wordlessly) never to do, and call Harrison to ask for help. Since they know tony has to be behind this, they 'visit' him in his office for information, but the mysterious lady (or guy) is there instead...and she pokes a gun in Adam's face asking for information. Then all the pieces sort of fall together, that it was HER who framed tony and plotted to kill harrison. So she monologues like all villians do, and prepares to shoot them all for discovering her plans when Tony walks in. Having overheard. Everything. And he shoots her? (this could happen later, maybe she/he gets away)
But there is still the problem...where is skylar? Oh she's not just bound up, The mysterious person told her goons to take her to Las Vegas, in exchange for a disk that Adam had in his briefcase all along with a ticket reciept that proved she was in a building at a certain time. With tony trying to kill her or him, this person gets in their car and escapes. So because Adam wasn't involved, he decides to help them save skylar and the baby before its too late. (The baby being taken to Las Vegas because Skylar wouldn't let him out of her arms while they were in a cage together) All he knows is that they were going to be taken to a hotel in Las Vegas (where the pornography industry is doing their cheesy awards ceremony that adam and Alice break into since Adam was...a star in those movies) After getting into the hotel, they discover that Skylar is in none of the rooms, but they find the baby in one of the hotel rooms along with a broshure to the pirates show. With a note saying which boat Skylar is in.
And in the end, its Cailen who saves the day by jumping into the water of the Pirates show, because he found out that Sky was in the pirate ship tied to a pole, and once the boat fills with water she'll drown! (cop training finally pulls off)
So with all that drama, Bella and Jack realize that they all don't have time to drive home and make it to their wedding (maybe) so they get married in vegas since all their friends are there anyway, and when they get back 'pretended' to have a big wedding where Adam (after all this drama happening and risking to tear all their lives up again) proposes to his girlfriend Alice at the ceremony that Skylar didn't want to watch happen twice?
Then maybe, if you guys like this (mostly bleu, as she da queen) we could have the bad person come into the scene of IABOY because Harrison died, (*cries* I know) and this person sees in the will that everything was left to: Adam, Bella, Cailen, Skylar, and Alice, in his will. So this person wants them all GONE. and we have episode three...
I'm just throwing ideas out here for you guys! Please comment your opinions or point out what you like and don't like...I just thought that the old IABOM was active and alive and maybe moving five years ahead...we need something inbetween? These are all just what popped into my head late at night, and I know how fruitless rp planning can be once things get started. So much more drama can take place, but this seemed like a good enough idea to share with everyone. So...what do you guys think? If I wrote it too confusing, just tell me.

That idea seems quite awesome to me, Rumples. Not that I don't enjoy where the rp is at the moment, it seems to be having trouble getting going.
I would be good with whatever everyone else would like to do. But if we go this new way, just know that I'm on board. ^_^

Hey guys.
So now that I'm focused enough to actually form a solid opinion on my position of IABOM, I figured I should share it. I don't mean to offend anyone. Clearly, I love you guys to death so this isn't my intention at all. Just to clarify ahead of time so I don't accidentally hurt anyone's feelings.
I, personally, have had great difficulty even wanting to post in IABOY. I guess the five-year time skip was too much for me to handle in the sense that I kinda lost a connection with my character and it just made it hard to write because I felt I wasn't doing my character or the roleplay in general. While others might have thought my posts were fine, I'm sure we all have an inner standard that we need to meet and if we don't, then it's like, "Ugh!" kind of thing.
At this point, I feel like I have so little control over something that was once my own creation. I'm sure that's bound to happen once a roleplay gets to such a large scale like this... it kinda becomes an "our" thing... but, maybe I'm just a control freak. Perhaps it's my ambivalence towards it that caused everything to kind of slip out of my grasp, but... the fact that it no longer feels like something I am in charge of... I don't know. It's not ... "irritating" but it's... well whatever a lesser version of that would be. And that feeling sorta has me less interested in writing something that used to be my creation, but isn't anymore.
If you think I'm just being complain-y, just ignore me. I just figure I'd give my opinion. (:

I know what you mean, Bleu. I feel the same way about a lot of my roleplays. You do not offend in anyway. I kinda felt the same way about posting in IABOY -- your aren't alone. But yeah, you're not judged or offending me* on any stretch. <3 *I use "me" because I don't know how anyone else feels.

sad I had a lot of trouble posting for Adam...I mean, I could try and imagine what Bella might have been feeling with Jack, but for Adam...It was such a big distance of time that I had trouble and felt like I was forcing posts out of him. I'm thinking of having the old adam show up in this rp sometime for a visit or more likely, to see him and the old gang on the news at the beginning of this role-play.
I decided to play his twin sister Emily, who moved back to Boston during elementary school when their parents split up.
I'm sorry you don't feel like you have any control. *ears droop* I changed character four to a girl for you Bleusie, but you can change anything you want about her that you like. We all know your the creator of IABOM, we just love it with you 3nodding Whatever changes you want me to put or edit. The title, everything, I'll change at a moments notice. So even if it doesn't feel that way, you still have a great deal of control. You control me, so that has to count for something ^^;;
(Can't believe I added a seventh character but I thought that char three's situation resembled Cailen's a little too much ^^;; Didn't seem right. So I added another. But if you do want char 3, by all means I'll take my thingy down and delete character 7.)
