Just because Draze was feeling pain in his limbs didn't mean he couldn't defend himself from being Hogtied. so Draze quickly got to his knees and went to hit Major D with a double sledge in the back of the left knee, which would hopefully be the precursor to a leg lace take down on the right leg!

Well, looks like trying to wrap things up "good ol' boy style" wasn't going to work...at least not at the moment, anyway. Draze's double sledge knocked the Marine's leg out from under him and Devastation fell flat on his a**, but when the Dragon's Haze went in for the leg lace, the Marine would look to teach him the hard way that he was no stranger to amateur wrestling when Major Devastation tried to roll his hips to bring himself over Draze's knees and escape the hold.

Battered and bruised, but spurred on by the roar of the crowd, Major Devastation would try to shoot in for a double leg pick, and, if successful would attempt to lift up Draze for a One-man Flapjack.

As Draze is hoisted up since he was caught by surprise, he tries throwing punches at Major Devastation's face, as a means to avoid the flapjack which will do nothing but ******** Draze's day up!

Well, the good news for Draze is that the punches connected...unfortunately, they ended up making Major lose his balance and fall backward while he still had the Dragon's Haze in his grip, causing him to hit the flapjack that he was trying to avoid in the first place.

And Draze now laid on the steel ramp, face first, blood pouring from his forehead.

Both men were currently laying on the steel ramp from the last exchange, and apparently neither was in the best of shape. One of the punches that Draze caught Major with opened up a cut over his left eye and was bleeding pretty good.
Feeding off of the continued roar of the crowd, and the feeling of his own blood pouring down his face, Major Devastation would try to slowly bring himself back up to his feet before making an attempt to go for the box and claim the gold.

The Marine was back up to his feet and he began making his way over to the pedestal upon which the steel box containing the EGW Championship sat. If he was able to get over to it, Major Devastation would attempt to open the box and claim his prize.

And Draze grabs his rope, and falls back with it as a means to pull Major D back to keep him from winning the match!

Mere inches away from victory, Major Devastation feels a sharp jerk on the bullrope pull him back. The Marine turned and shot a venomous glare toward Draze before charging him with the intent of trying to deliver a brutal running knee to Draze's face!
