Sailor Neso did not seem surprised nor nervous to see a magical non-senshi guy with a glowing orb. He only bounced up and down in place to the joyful giggles of Calypso and said, "Well, your princess. Mine is..." The Senshi of Summer twirled in place, and Calypso clutched onto his head for support. After two spins, there was still no sign of his beloved princess. "Princess Chronos isn't here, but Chibimoon is." He paused. "Weird." And then continued his bouncing.

He was not one to ever assume anything was dangerous. Not when he bathed in honey to "tempt bears" for the amusement of his friends, not when he agreed to give up that nice homeless man a ride home on his handlebars, not when he posted his full address, phone number, and a list of his fears on his Facebook page. And he most definitely didn't think anything was wrong now.

Spotting the Geminis, Neso did a quick weave through the room, sparing the angry-looking redhead talking to Kurma a passing glass. He slid up beside Andeon. "You smell like beer," he said. "Hopefully good beer." He shot him a look. "And hopefully you have more." And then he continued to bounce-bounce-bounce Jen-Jen around on his shoulders.

It was not surprising to Albali that Ares would speak up in such a way, nor that Castor would notice her and make a crude comment. These were things that she had noticed in her quiet months as a senshi and it was only now that she had gained a purpose that Echoes was becoming more of a forward girl. Speaking of forward girls was her friend Elegancia, striding into the crowd like she owned it, with that particular notion of hers.

Really, Eilian loved every inch of it. Sailor Rosalind was one of the most fun people to have in a crowd, even if their current goals were at odds. "Rosalind! Here!" It was a bit of a hiss so as not to distract anyone from Ares' question, but hopefully enough that her ribboned arms were flagging the girl down.

"This is crazy, what could that guy want? Hopefully it's not about bending knee to the pink-haired kid." That would not end well.

Nemesis was staring very hard at her hand, which was wavering between curling into a fist and slowly curling each finger inwards in a countdown. She felt the weight leaning against her shoulder, smelled the godawful stench of booze, and her first instinct was to kick some serious a**. But, a small thought rang at the back of her head. It said something along the lines, 'At least someone was smart enough to realize that the best way to deal with a spaceman's antics was to get drunk.'

Her eyes, painstakingly slow, rolled over to stare at the menshi leaning against her. It'd be so easy to just step to the side and watch him fall on his face, sooo temptingly easy. A fine dark brow arched at the sight of Snuzzles. Right, she wasn't even going to ask. Would that invite the drunken menshi into some godawful drunken rambling? Probably. "If you share," she spoke pointedly, "then you won't get a fine introduction to the floor. It's pretty eager to meet you, but I can spare you the indignity."

See, people, she could be nice. This... qualified as nice, right?

It was good to be able to jump back into things, she supposed. When Iris questioned her about *********, though, she shook her head sadly. "No... I don't see anything to suggest she'd be here," she replied simply, again looking over the auras. Nothing but senshi and... something she didn't recognize. The man on the stage made her brow lift - as did seeing a small child appearing at Iris' side - but it wasn't until he started speaking did Metis turn back with a quizzical look to her teammate.

"Who is that man?" A logical question for this senshi. She'd missed the times Kurma had shown up, so to see him now... to say she was totally lost was an understatement. "How much have I missed?" Something told her she was going to need to have a few words with ********* to fully catch herself up to speed here. Still, she paused to smile down at the girl on Iris' other side. Her head bobbed in a quick greeting, smiling as she spoke softly, "Hello, I don't believe we've met. I'm Metis." Girl certainly seemed cute.

It was dark. It was cramped. It was cold.

And there were senshi everywhere. Sailor Vulcan was absolutely in heaven. She clunked about the warehouse in a pair of great big black winter boots, which were clearly not an original piece of her fuku, shaking hands and making small talk with anybody and everybody who happened to make eye contact. There was an excited air about the Senshi of Volcanoes, who seemed to consider this more of a social event than any sort of business meeting.

It wasn't that she didn't take this seriously. Because of course she did.

But there were so many new faces! So many stories to listen to, and so much advice to get. And oh! She'd never regretted not having a notebook around before. It would have been handy, to be able to write some of this stuff down and save it for further memorization.

'TIPS; For Kicking a**.'

When Kurma arrived, swinging that pretty golden ball, Vulcan's eyes widened and she pushed her way through the crowd in order to stand closer to Ares-- who had welcomed her into the fold of the BMC as a cadet.

"Yeah," she fixed Kurma with her golden stare and, sounding inevitably childish, echoed the Senshi of Smoke, "We're not going anywhere."

Apparently this was how senshi meetings were handled. Vulcan could deal.

Iris narrowed her eyes at the smaller senshi next to her. "Did ya not eat b'fore ya came 'ere, kid?"

There was a pause as she noted the child's buttery eyes glancing to the blind girl.

"Oh... Hugbell, this is Metis. She's part of my team...." Sailor Iris, master of introductions.

Crossing her arms and glancing back to Kurma, the eternal senshi asked "Hey, kid... ya able t'hear okay? I could probably carry ya if ya need t'hear anythin' better..." There was a pause. "...only if ya want, i guess..."

As her teammate asked about the guy at the front, Iris answered simply. "He's Kurma... I've met him before... um... I'll explain more later... but I think he's an okay guy." One more look to the man. "Weird, but okay."

It looks like she didn't have a choice. Requiem was glad to be around Orion, but she wasn't so comfortable being all lovey-dovey in public. She responded to Orion's call, and crossed through the room to be with him once Kurma was done with his speech. She wrapped one arm around Orion's waist in a light embrace.

It was actually kind of nice - for a few seconds. Then she grew angry. He was there. Sailor Merope, the blue-haired b*****d who made fun of her hair.

"What the ******** is he doing here?" she pouted to her boyfriend.

A man that Rosalind had only heard of, Kurma, appeared before them. Well, he wasn't a completely inept-looking fool like some of the past leaders had been, but he wasn't glorious, either. The extravagantly-dressed soldier found a soft sack to sit upon, dusting the seat over before sitting on it softly. Her arms were crossed, and her back was arched as she stared at Kurma expectantly. Although she wouldn't tell anyone vocally, Rosalind was a tad upset that Perseus wasn't at the meeting either. Text messages were sent, but no response. Must have been busy. It was depressing that she was the sole representative of her team, Vogue.

Until she noticed an ex-member, Albali. She leered for a moment, but decided she had nothing else important to do, so went over to the Soldier of Echoes. "You know, I usually don't get up for people, but I supposed I could make an exception for you." Flipping a stray lock out of her face, Rosalind continued, "I am not sure. I'm not getting remotely close to the ground, though, it's dirty."

If she were forced to, though, she wouldn't be object to having Albali wipe some dust away with her myriad ribbons.

Whoever called this meeting sucked. Sailor Merope glowered as he huddled, arms crossed across his bare chest. This warehouse sucked. This winter sucked. He wished he had thought to henshin up THEN put his hoodie on instead of putting it on before henshining up. Oh well.

He nudged his teammates as Kurma made an appearance, nodding to him. "See him? He's the one that taught me how to go home. He's pretty okay in my opinion." Sailor Merope shrugged, going back to being miserable and cold. He wondered idly if there was anyone here that could help him figure out the rainbow crystal fragment he had in his possession, an enigma that still lurked within his personal sub-space right alongside his senshi cellphone. He'd need to be careful, though -- he didn't want anyone to know he had it, at least until he knew it wasn't a threat to anyone.

A familiar voice shattered his thoughts, causing Merope to forget the cold blue eyes of the Ice Princess to stare at Sailor Requiem. "Not you again," he groaned, "Why don't you go back to the party store and rent a new fuku before another garbage youma mistakes you for its sibling?" He stopped himself, his eyes flickering to her arm around his teammate's waist and the said teammate it belonged to. "You've gotta be kidding me."

The shout from the Blood Moon Queen most definitely caught Kurma's attention. Not quite enough to dampen his eternally lackadaisical expression, but the sensation of their mutually gray eyes locking was unmistakable. Ares had asked a good question, the look in his eye seemed to say. He looked at her, rubbed his chin, the gears turning in his head almost audible as he formed a response.

"The point of this meeting..." he began, "...is the meeting."

With his free hand he gestured towards the wall, the ceiling, the still-somewhat-opened door. "I mean... take a look around you. L'il Moon said this is pretty much what you got to work with when it comes to unified efforts. Bit risky, don'tcha think? The soldiers of Chaos could close in on you any minute, and then nothing would be accomplished. So..."

He brought his hands forward, the starlight-colored globe with it until he was holding it just a ways away from his chest, his eyelids drooping a bit -- almost as if he were falling into some kind of trance. "If you're interested... and wish to accept the help I'm offering... please take a moment to cooperate. Clear your mind. Focus on only the vastness of the universe around you."

Gemini Beta's arm was there as soon as she noticed Andeon falling. How she had managed to appear, it was hard to tell, but then again, the Geminis just kind of worked like that more often than not. At least when it came to each other. "Hey, no biting other people unless I'm in on it," she half-murmured, her green eyes glittering as she looked between Nemesis and her partner in crime. From a quick once-over, she deemed the girl not only to be quite pretty, but also not one to suffer fools, and she offered her a quick smile before gently pulling Andeon's weight onto herself.

As it was, the appearance of Virgo was quite a good way to distract herself from what she assumed was going to be an icy glare from Nemesis, turning herself and her fiance towards their captain. "Virgo~ How have you been, love?" She replied with a bright grin, her eyes flicking to Bo within moments of his introduction, "And... handmaiden? Handman. Handyman. A pleasure, I'm sure."

Kurma was talking, but she wasn't really paying attention. Then again, that was different from school, how?

The hint was clear and it took less than a second for Albali to pull the orange ribbon from her arm and offer it to her friend. Ex-team member or not at this point, she was still unwilling to sabotage any friendship that she'd been able to gain. It had been agreed that total sabotage was probably bad even if she were interested in it; Ares wanted to absorb Vogue and it's useful members.

"Here, this should keep most of it off but..." Her head snapped around mid-sentence and a ponytail barely avoided hitting Rosalind in the face. Kurma was saying something very interesting and very strange, but it was worth a try. He seemed to be one of those people who thought the whole world was a colossal joke and she approved of that.

"The universe isn't feeling very vast right now but..." Her eyes closed for a moment and thought of the serene white room she retreated to when she was late for an appointment. It was the only way to stave off a panic attack.

Princess Chronos was late.

She didn't mean to be, really, but a part of her had told her not to come because, honestly, what was the point? What was the point of her making an appearance; the Princess without a Crystal? Although not many knew this, the guilt still resided within her, especially when they would look at her expectantly. Just because she was the Princess of the Zodiac.

Eventually, she had bit her lip and henshined up, heading towards the warehouse. She slipped in just when Kurma finished talking and closed his eyes, sliding over to where the Geminis, Virgo and Neso were. "What happened?" She murmured, an eyebrow quirking. "...And... who is he?"
PostPosted: Fri Feb 04, 2011 6:17 pm

This was it when it came to what they had to work with? No, she didn't believe that, not in the slightest. She had seen senshi come together before when it mattered. She had faith in them... Some of them, at least.

Had that much really changed in Destiny City when it came to that sort of thing?

"You've seen the news, idiot..." She muttered to herself, already dark brow furrowing a bit further wondering why, deep down, if she was so damn paranoid about the purpose behind being here she was actually thinking of going along with what the man with the glowing orb was suggesting.

"This is crazy..."

Janus listened to what the others had to say. He didn't have much experience so felt it wasn't his place to ask, but he was glad others were speaking up.

The point of the meeting, is the meeting? Janus had no idea what that meant. He wasn't very good at riddles. He processed what Kurma had just said. Help? Janus wasn't one for help, he did most things by himself. But something he had noticed that his attacks weren't very offensive. Maybe the help he was offering was something that could help him with his offense.

He shrugged again and decided to go for it, and attempted to do as he'd instructed.
