“Aha,” a nervous treble escaped from her lips as her pitch rose to a very high treble. “I might be a touch underweight. Maybe a few cookies could do me good. I might be medically inclined but it doesn't make me impervious. I am still just a girl.” Running her natural hand through her hair the slimmer woman spared a small chuckled in spite of herself.

'You're slimmer than paper'

Tambrey's words echoed, a warm buzzing sound in the back of Acacia's mind. The words lightly stung yet at the same time hearing the statement made her heart flutter wildly almost with pride. She felt attractive for the very first time since she could remember.

“As long as you are doing the cooking, I promise to eat anything you put on my plate,” sweetly mumbled the thin grunt, turning her head towards the sound of the song the white-haired medic cooed softly. “Oh my gosh, look at them. Makes me wish I had a camera. That is just too damn cute.”

The dark-haired woman grinned. "Ah. I wish I was a touch underweight. I know I'm no blimp, but I probably shouldn't take so many reading breaks in places like this. Comfy couch, snack machine, good book. End up minus chunks of time and up a few units in bulge. Still. Not like the work can't help in getting it back off. Y'know how many 'Janitor's Closets' we have? I think I've peeked into most of them since I got here."
More of a grin as Acacia promised to eat whatever was made.
"Well. I'd better not mess up then. Can't have you treating yourself for food poisoning just because you said you'd eat -anything- I made. If it comes out black or sludgy, I promise I won't mind you not eating it." She snickered slightly. It wasn't something that happened very often, and she knew it was a lame joke but she had found herself somewhat nervous, if excited, at all the talk of contests and cooking. It was certainly both nice and nerve wracking to have someone to share such things with.
She followed Acacia's gaze to the song and smiled softly.
"Yeah. Palu'd love that. She's very much a poser for a camera." She watched as the bird shifted a wing, forming somewhat of a feathery blanket. "I've not seen her act quite so... Well. She's never done this sort of thing before. Clearly cute little Ampule's had quite an effect."

“You're really hot, actually,” she bluntly stated unrestrained with her personal opinion of the bookish grunt. “I mean, you are really really hot. If I were a guy I would try everything in the book to get with you.” Acacia continued forwardly. It was the truth, she could picture the woman walking arm and arm with her, discussing intellectual topics, enjoying each others company, Tambrey was smart, funny, and had a great personality. What wasn't there to like? But certainly the dark-haired woman preferred men most women did.

Shielding the side of her face for just a moment Acacia spoke, her pitch unwavering yet warm as she avoided eye contact with the other woman. “You're perfect the way you are, don't let anyone ever bully you into thinking otherwise,” dropping her hand she upturned the corners of her lips and looked at her coworker. “Also, if you cook something that turns out black and sludgy, it had better be a dark grimer trying to help otherwise, totally not gonna touch that with a ten foot pole. Black sludgy food is way too high in calories.” Laughing outright the punk-haired medic shook her head while bemused with her own jest.

Once again the crimson eyed grunt glanced over to where her napping totodile silently rested, a huge white smile spread itself across her narrow face. “Maybe she is getting ready to breed. Some pokemon act more maternally when they reach that point in their life cycle especially around younger species. Oooooh maybe Tamie is gonna be a grannie soon.” Playfully teased the slender barefooted female as she reached over and patted her friend on the arm.

"It's a pity more people don't share your opinion." Tam' commented, her her smile now with added sheep and her cheeks taking on a rosy hue. 'Hot' wasn't a compliment she'd heard very often at all; 'really, really hot' was something she'd never have predicted hearing from someone, let alone her new friend.
If only she knew...
It was a thought she shook away. There was a lot she never let on. She knew even the files kept on her were somewhat lacking.
"Thank you. Anyway. It's nice to hear." She knew it wasn't quite enough, that it retained a level of awkwardness, but it was the best she could think of in a short amount of time.

Back into the moment, Tambrey, with the remnants of the blush refusing to leave, smirked again at Acacia's humour.
"Haha! Y'know, if a dark Grimer started 'trying to help' in our kitchens, I'd think we'd have far more to worry about then some dodgy food..."

Palu inclined her head as her song finished, tilting it to look to ensure Ampule had remained asleep, then looked back to the trainers as Acacia spoke. She listened, fluffed herself up, extra comfy for both herself and the little Totodile and closed her own eyes, settling to roost properly.

"A... grandma?" Huh. Tam' bit her at her lip thoughtfully for a moment as she watched her bird. It was very cute behaviour. And she had taken a very quick liking to that young Totodile.
"I'm not old enough to be a grandma!" Tam's eyes widened, though it was in a rather mirthful manner.
Baby birds! Another thing to be nervous about; another thing to look forward to and be proud of.

“Ooooh maybe I should call you Grammie Tamie, or maybe Tam'ma,” warmly teased the light-haired grunt, the sight before her was adorable; Palu certainly was a sweet bird unlike some of the others she had met, she normally wasn't too fond of the feathered pokemon of the pidgey variety, but maybe they all weren't bad as the bookish woman's partner proved. Turning her gaze back towards the still flushing grunt Acacia grinned cheekily. “If Palu has eggies, you will be the first G.I.L.F that I have ever met.”

Winking playfully the white-haired medic slowly stood up from her seated position as she rose her purple hoodied sweat shirt crept up her frame exposing her bare abdomen, slender pale sides with a delicate crease in her midsection; her ribs and pelvis clearly detailed as she stretched and lightly yawned. Pulling her shirt down absentmindedly Acacia paused for a moment, slowly she lend down picking up the can of diet cola and pulled the metal tab. Tilting the beverage against her lips the light-hair medic took a long deep drink before placing the cool canter against her blazing bright red cheek.

“Did you want to do something together today since we are both free. I mean relaxing is fine but maybe if you are getting hungry, I could offer up a little lesson ahead of schedule” The tone of question was held in her words, shifting her bare-feet against the carpet Acacia held herself with a slight bit openness that normally was a defensive closed stance.

"Tam'ma? Grammie Tamie?" Several vigorous headshakes accompanied the dark-haired woman's incredulous face. "Nonono. You call me that and I might be tempted to stick laxatives in the cookies." She joked, then raised an eyebrow at the next comment.
"G.I.L.F..?" It registered a moment later. And Tam' blushed even further again.
"Okay, now that really would deserved a lax-cookie." She poked her tongue out for just a few seconds, childishly.
The bookworm watched the other woman rise, noting further how thin that her new friend actually was.
The drinking reminded her that she had a drink to be nursing too, and her hand reached to take her own metal cylinder. Her nail, clean and trim, slipped under the ringpull to add a 'pff' of sound before Tambrey joined Acacia in a drink.
It was while she was drinking that Acacia's suggestion came. She swallowed and considered the proposal, then smiled brightly.
"Sure. It's a good idea and I'd love to."

“Ewwww laxative cookies! Screw you, I am so not gonna eat your cookies now! You big brat!” Acacia huffed loudly while playfully scowling, turning away from the fellow grunt the barefooted medic walked over to the waste bin and threw away her empty container. “By the way, the next time you stick out your tongue you had best be prepared for me to grab it. Naughty old Tamie.”

'Uh-huh--- grab it, nice save, Ace. You know you wanted to say something else.'

Beaming mischievously the punk-haired medic withdrew Ampule's pokeball and walked over to where he was sleeping. Stroking Palu's neck near her scarf the slender woman lend down onto her left knee and whispered towards the bird-type.

“Hey can I borrow him for a little bit, nap time continues,” she jiggled the pokeball towards Palu showing her what she meant. “I will make you something really fancy for my new friend's partner.” Turning her head over her shoulder she smiled yet again towards the woman behind her, happiness clearly visible in her pale narrow face.

(Did you want to end it here, or did you want to keep going? With the luncheon here?)

(OOC: How about ending it here with our leaving and starting a new one for the cooking and such?)

Tambrey took a little more amount of time in drinking her can. She still had liquid to nurse as she got up, holding it in one had while she held her book in the other.
"Grab my tongue and I'll go Haunter on you," Tam' joked dryly "Lick Attack."
She slipped her sandals on, then followed after Acacia, watching as she approached the two resting pokemon and smiling as the bird raised her head to enjoy the touch of the other trainer.

Palu raised her head to regard the trainer waving the pokeball at her, blinked dozily and then warbled as she moved out of the way happily enough if contentedly dazed. She seemed pleased with the stroking offered and only a little reluctant to move from her sleeping new friend. The bird looked for Tambrey as she apparently wanted to go back to her own pokeball for the moment too.

Tam' bit her lip, her own hands full. "Ack. Sorry Palu. Uh. Ace..? Could... uh, you please?" Sticking her hip out a little to show the pokeball on her belt.
