Ike pet Leo's hair affectionately.
"Thank you," he said to her and peered up at Rhad, "Uh...sure. If it's okay with Miss Catherine, I'd love to."
"Huh?" Liam turned to Duke, having been too busy watching the kids and hearing nothing but an unintelligable noise.

Rhad smiled to Ike, a real smile, not a sneer or a smirk. A genuine smile, a rare sight on his person. "That'd be great."
Leo blinked, looking at her brother. She shook her head, letting out a small giggled as she continued to clung."Ike... is it ok if I call you big brother?"
Duke laughed a little. "I said you looked stressed, Lee."

Ike smiled to Rhad and then turned back to Leo.
"That's fine, Leo. Of course you realize you're stuck with me that way." He stuck his tongue out at the girl.
"Oh...me..." Liam shook his head slightly and laughed, "Yeah...stressed just about covers it."

"Why would I get rid of you?" Leo wiggled a bit, the toddler kept nuzzling. "I gots more family!"
"Um, so.. what do ya wanna do now?"
Duke looked at his pocket watch. "I think we should call in the herd, it's been more than 30 minutes."

"Alright," Liam nodded and turned toward the kids, whistling between his fingers.
Ike stood suddenly, still clinging to Leo. His ears perked straight up on his head.
"I think we've gotta go...or me, at least," he pushed his mouth to one side of his face and sighed. He placed Leo back on the ground and started back to Liam and Duke.

"Aww...Big brother!" Leo pouted, stomping her hooves on the ground.
"Hey Ankle biters! Time to call it a day!" Duke called his hand to the side of his mouth.
Rhad sighed dropping the stick on the ground. "Come on, let's go Leo." He sighed walking towards the adults.
"DUUUKE!" Leo yelled as she ran towards her legal gaurdian, clinging to his leg. "Can Ike come with us? Huh? Huh? Can Ike sleep over with us at Auntie Cat's place, please... pleease.. Preety please?"
"Umm.. heh. Let's ask Cat first. If she says yes, then sure and Ike has to ask his mum too, don't forget."
Leo sighed. "Okay."

Ike looked up to Liam.
"Ask Mummy for me?"
"Yeah. No problem."

Sorry. Can Ike stick with Catherine and some sprogs tonight if she says it's alright?
Yeah. Sure. He'll just need some stuff.
"Rabid says it's all fine and dandy."
"Now we just gotta ask Miss Catherine..."

"That'll be easy, just give me a moment." He smiled as he pulled out his cellphone... not as nifty as the whole head telepathy thing but it was good enough. Dialing a number he wandered off for a moment to talk privately.
"Woah... how did you do that?" Leo asked, amazed, looking up at Liam.

"Huh?" Liam down to the kid, deciding once again that he was too short, and half-smiled, "Oh. I've kinda always been able to do it. It's a long story." He nodded.
"It's really cool," Ike said, "He can do a lotta things, but I'm not supposed to talk about it."
"...and you're not going to."
"Right."

"Hey, Cat.. Is it ok If Ike comes over too.. you remember him right.. yeah! It's ok? Cool... He'll come by when the kids do. I dunno how long I'll be out, theres things I gotta do." He let out a sigh. ".. Just watch'em for me while I'm gone." He paused, waiting. "Thanks, I owe you big time. Bye." Duke grinned as he made his way back to them. "She said it was cool."
Leo jumped up and down, and then did a small dance. "Yay!"
Rhad smiled a bit, he was glad Ike was going, though he wasn't going to show it infront of Duke.
"Alright, rugrats, time to head home and get ready."
"Aw.. do we have to go now?"
"Yes."

Ike grinned.
"Alright, fuzzwad," Liam ruffled the boy's hair affectionately, "We've gotta go get you some stuff...so says your mum."
"Kay. I'll see you guys soon!" Ike waved to Leo and Rhad and began jogging back to the HQ. He was anxious as anything to get to this sleepover. He'd never been to one before.
"I'll...ah...see you later," Liam waved to Duke and walked backward for a few steps before following after Ike.

"Yeah.. I'll come by to pick you up.." He smiled as he waved goodbye.
"Hurray!" Leo leapt onto Duke's back into a single bound.
Duke smiled walking away and back to the Hq with Leo on his back.
Rhad sighed following, maybe the sleepover wasn't going to be lame... at least Ike was going to be there.
