"That's true," he said while ducking his head to look out the windshield at the shops that were coming up. According to Faleen's direction they should be there at any moment. Thus he also started looking for a parking place.
"Maybe I'll sign up for the next one. What do you think?"

"I think thats a great idea." She replied, quickly pointing him to where she knew of a parking aria for the cafe.
"You'll have time to train more before the next one comes up I'm sure."
He seemed like a fit, and built guy, he would be able to handle any physical mission okay, it took a lot of work, but she found the more missions one went on the more experience they got, that would be helpful for their jobs at Team Rocket.
"Is your interest in Rocket solely being a guard for the outpost?"
She didn't want to make it sound insulting, she knew it was a job that had to be done, and it was important! but it seemed like such a mundane task, she would personally go crazy, she wondered if Will had any other, greater ambitions.

Following Faleen's pointing, Will managed to find the parking lot for the cafe and thus a spot. Pulling into the parking space, he brought the vehicle to a stop and put it into park before killing the engine.
He then leaned back in his chair with a sigh as he considered Faleen's question. "I'm not sure what my interests are, honestly. I came into Team Rocket simply to have a job and earn a living. I don't mind being a guard, but it does get to be a bit mundane. Perhaps if I go one more raids, I can figure that out."

The car went silent, save for the sharp "Click" as Faleen unfastened her seat-belt.
Leaning forward, to place her closed fists on the dashboard, letting her lower back stretch out as she turned her head to look over at Will.
"There is a lot of opportunity, with better pay" she added,
She knew that if Will put his mind to it he could accomplish so much more, and be great at it. so much better then a guard for a damp, cold abandoned subway system.
"I don't doubt you'll find something, and its a pretty nice feeling to have something more to work for then money,"
She sat up straight again, reaching down to tug the handle of her door to open it, stepping out to get the door for Umbreon.

Will watched Faleen and listened to her words in silence. A smile spreading across his face as he considered what she said.
"You're right, of course. I'm sure something will work out." He then looked back out through the windshield. "One way or another. My role in Team Rocket will be clear soon enough."
It was then that he undid his own seat belt and then got out of the car. "So, let's see what this place has to offer. I'm about to starve."

"You'll like this place then, they do very good pastries, and offer some very good dishes for lunch" Faleen wasn't to hungry herself, but it had been a while since she came here, she could think of a couples of things she could get.
"before we go in though..." opening the door as Umbreon jumped out, she motioned for him to go around the the front of the Cafe. "Go check" she spoke quietly to him, watching as the Umbreon hurried off toward the other side, and vanished around the corner.
Faleen walked around the car to meet up with Will. "There are a few people I would want to avoid running into" she explained.
It didn't take long for Umbreon to return.
"everything clear?" she asked and Umbroen nodded to her with a sudden bark
Faleen smiled, looking pleased as she started over to the cafe herself.

That was a bit odd. Will didn't recall Faleen having commanded the Umbreon to do that before. He watched as the dark Pokemon ran off, then looked back to its owner with a hidden inquisitive look. What kind of people could she possibly be wanting to avoid?
"Family?" he asked, that being the only thing he could think of since she had grown up in Camphoreon apparently.
When Umbreon gave the all clear, he walked with Faleen to the front of the cafe. Pastries actually sounded really good right about now.

She looked over at Will when he guessed, nodding in confirmation "Its unlikely, but we're close to the aria they live, they think I'm in Kanto right now" she explained, "This isn't the coffee shop they usually go to, but it doesn't hurt to be a little cautious" she grinned softly, though not nearly as amused as her grins usually are.
But, the coast was clear, and the wonderful scent of the rich cafe's brewing coffee was there to greet them.
People were already in the cafe, enjoying drinks and company, but Faleen payed them little mind, ordering an Americano and a slice of coffee cake. to give Will time to order something.
"Oh, Did I tell you I flew on a pokemon for the first time" she told him, while the Barista handed her the lidded paper cup with her drink in it.

Seems that he had hit it on the nose. "In Kanto? Why did you tell them that?"
Why Kanto? Could she have not told them something else so that she wasn't completely dodging her family whenever she was in Camphoreon? He assumed he had her reasons though.
Getting into line with Faleen, Will considered the menu for a few moments as she ordered. Eventually it was his turn and he ordered a chai tea latte and a piece of banana bread.
"No you hadn't. When was this?" His voice holding a note of surprise. He didn't know that she'd never flown on a Pokemon before. Although, once he thought about it, it made some sense. Faleen didn't actually have a flying type.

"I suppose since I've been coming into the city more often I should change that story, but when I was just... training-" she hesitated, not wanting to say HQ in public, no matter how quiet. "being out of region gave me more of an excuse to be gone for long stretches of time."
Let alone be bothered to "come home" all the time. something she had no interest in doing unless she really needed to.
A hand raised up to her head, a corner of her mouth tightening as she ran her fingers through her hair, but other.
Once seated she let out a content sigh, reaching out to pick a corner of the cake and hand it down to Umbreon, who blinked at it.
"..." she blinked at him "take it silly its good"
eying it again he carefully took the small piece from his master's fingers... not bad.
"Right as we were leaving to fly back, I was going into shock by that point but I do remember getting on a Pidgeot's back and flying on it" she scratched her head again "I can honestly admit, it was terrifying,"

"Well.. I don't think there's any reason to avoid your family if you don't have to. If that's really the case," Will said as he sipped at his tea, before taking a bite of his banana bread. The man watching in good humor as Faleen offered a piece of her coffee cake to Umbreon, who seemed reluctant to take it.
Will then couldn't help a chuckle as she admitted to being terrified of her flying experience. "I'm sure you'll get use to it eventually," he assured her.

She lifted the corner of her mouth, watching Umbreon finish off the snack before she pulled off a piece for herself,
"I suppose" she replied, though sounding less then enthusiastic, she didn't elaborate.
"Nyx offered to help me out with lessons once I'm healed, I'm uncertain but I agreed," she sighed, but smiled and shook her head "The more missions I go on the more I see the benefit, and being uncomfortable with it will only put me in danger." she took a sip of her hot drink, becasue she realized something and laughed "I would be more comfortable being in the same Pool as my wild Sharpedo, how sad is that."

At this Will had to laugh. "Well I have to admit, I would rather fly than be in a pool with a Sharpedo. I guess that's one area where we differ. But you're right, it probably will be more to your benefit during raids if you get comfortable with it. And eventually your Charmeleon will evolve, and will be more than able to transport you if you find yourself in a bind."
Again the man chuckled to himself as he took another sip of his tea. He secretly enjoyed moments like this. There was nothing better than having good food and good company to pass the time. Allowing yourself to forget all your cares and responsibilities for a short time.

"Oh, yes, The Charmeleon" she voiced, as if she had forgotten about it, "It would be a good idea to try and get that one under control as well,I've been spending so much time with Sharpedo"
She was stick ticked, and joyed to have captured a Sharpedo, it seemed to be starting to take her seriously.
"Thats going to be a challenge" she pointed out, "You know" He had his own trouble with his Charizard.

"Yeah.. I know," Will agreed with a sigh. Faleen's Charmeleon was bound to be difficult as well, considering the circumstances in which she got it. Perhaps even more trouble than her Sharpedo!
"Maybe we should train them together some time."
