She looked ahead and nodded, being sure to be extra careful, especially with how far up they were now. Finally she saw the entrance to her right and she made her way inside, the fire of her wings giving light inside.

The stallion entered after the mare, maneuvering some of the vegetation to block the entrance. He unsheathed the blade from his make-shift hilt for the sword and laid it to rest near the entrance of the cave. Near the corner was a bed of straw to sleep on, and on the walls were carvings of the symbols and images he remembered from his past. The space was not too decorated, but comfortable. "Let us get the basket down." He said softly, nudging her towards the bed of straw.

Looking around curiously, she found the cave quite cosy looking and knew it would be perfect to keep the basket safe. Looking over to him, she nodded and went over to the bed of straw he nudged her to, turning so he could untie or cut off the knot.

Rayearth waited for the mare to settle down in the bed before chewing off the vine. When it came loose, he made sure the basket did not fall once the thing hold it bound was stripped away. Slowly, the moved the basket off the mare's back before it was safely on the bed of straw.

Laying down, she waited until the vine was loosened before she slowly rolled so he could slide the basket off her back safely and it was finally on the straw. Once that was done, she stood herself up and turned to look down at the basket before coming closer to him and nuzzling at his fluffy mane, ".....Thank you Rayearth...."

Rayearth just nodded his head, and smiled softly to her. The stallion returned her nuzzle. "You don't even need to thank me." He said. "I am just surprised I have come upon a family this soon." He said, with an amused look in his eyes.

She smiled and chuckled, looking down to the basket, the foal inside shifting because the bells were jingling lightly, "....as am I..." she said softly.

Rayearth's ears perked up hearing the bells chime. He looked at the basket, and expected something but just realized that the foal inside was just shifting around. "I'm certain you will be a good mother." He said glancing over to her.
