Brantley cringed after that last tug and then was put up. He got rolled into the ring but Seitz climbing the turnbuckle gave Summers plenty of time to recover. As Seitz started flying through the air, Brantley rolled away hoping to let Seitz crash on his knee.

Seitz knee hit the mat, leaving him rolling in agony. After such a blow to his leg, there was no way he could get to his feet with any sort of ease, causing an opening.

Brantley stayed where he was. He decided to rest on his back and take deep breaths before moving again. He had a feeling this was going to be a long and hard match and needed to build up his strength again.

Having had the time to retain a little composure, Seitz used the ropes to reach a vertical base. Although moving about the ring would be a difficulty for the time being, at least from here, a counter might be a more realistic possibility than staying on the ground could've offered.

Brantley slowly got to one knee, he inched himself towards the ropes using them to slowly make his way to his feet.

Since the bigger competitior was in no state to make a high impact assault on Brantley, he instead slowly edged towards him, hoping to engage him in a lock-up, something which Seitz hoped would allow him to keep up the pressure, whilst avoiding further endangering his injured knee.

Brantley finally got up and regained his composure. He saw Seitz asking for a lock up and started scheming what he'd do. Brantley accepted the lock up but would attempt to kick Seitz in his injured knee hoping to give himself an advantage in the lock up.

Seitz was pleased to see his opponent accept his lock-up, as he hoped it would mean his upper bopy strength could come into play, however his optimism was shattered as Brantley kicked his ailing knee forcing the German into a one foot forward kneeling position, however, despite his new disadvantage, Seitz saw an oppourtunity to attempt to deliver a sneaky low blow to Summers' "nether regions".

((Not sure if they have DQ here, but I'll take it.))

Brantley thought he had it won with that kick to the knee, but that was until he was hit with a low blow! He fell to the mat curled up in a ball of pain. His boys were on fire and wasn't sure if he'd have kids! That was the sheer pain he felt with that low blow!

(i should really put that rule somewhere. yes, i allow dq's in this guild, unlike EEW. occasionally they're needed for storyline purposes)

((sorry about causing confusion, it was late when I made that move, wink ))

Happy to see his somewhat... untraditional tactic having the desired effect, Seitz fell forward, crawling over to Brantley for the cover.

Brantley got rolled over and was covered by Seitz. Brantley seemed to be out but no! Brantley was able to kick out at the count of two! He wouldn't lose a second straight match, especially after declaring win.

After Brantley kicked out, Seitz punched the mat in anger at his opponent's continued resistance. He didn't need the match to go on any longer, especially with Brimstone approaching. The German decided the end was in sight though, and somehow clambered to his feet, wincing from the pain in his weakened left knee, deciding he would fight through the pain, hopefully for only a little longer.

Brantley slowly got to one knee, he needed some momentum, so with one of his last bursts of strength, he lunged at Seitz attempted a single leg take down aiming towards the injured left knee. If this were successful, Brantley would try a grab the leg and attempt a leg lock with a heel/foot hook.

Brantley's quickness made the most of Seitz' fatigue, tripping him over, before catching him into a dangerous submission manouver. The German yelled out in pain as the wretched grip around his leg tightened. With the little strength the Bavarian Brawler had left, he attempted to edge towards the ropes, though at this point, he feared it may be too late.
