"mm...." He looked at her taken back, "You would....do that for me?" He swallowed the lump in his throat. Her generosity had truly blown him away. She truly didn't act like a normal daeva, which was one of the things that he loved most about her. She thought about others before herself. Self-sacrificing. "You wouldn't....resent me for having to leave the forests you love?" He nuzzled against her neck softly

Rave: Rave smiles. "How could I resent you when I love you?" She chuckled a bit. "Plus, I like it up here too." Rave licked his cheek. She knew it would be hard to leave his side.

He smiled as he tackled her to the ground and licked her cheek lovingly. "I love you too Rave..." He nuzzled against her neck as she snuggled on the ground with her. If only his parents could see him now, acting so far out of character they probably wouldn't recognize him. "I would be honored if you stayed with me here....I will keep you well fed and protected....I promise."

Happiness overwhelmed the 'Daeva and she clung to Frost. Nuzzling and licking his face. "Shall we head home now?" She didn't want the night to end but she was getting a little tired.

He nodded his head, giving her one more lick. "Of course....." he helped her up, stealing a soft kiss. "My den is down this mountain in a cave....It's not far...." He started to walk down the side of the cliff.

Rave blushed from the kiss and nodded. She looked one last time at the lights before catching up with Frost. "Lead the way." Rave was so close to him that their sides were touching. She couldn't help, she loved the feel of his fur against hers.

Frost looked over at her, blushing slightly at the touch of her fur. He wasn't used to all this contact with, well, anyone. "Mm....rave...." He rubbed his head against her neck. "You are too tempting...." He licked her cheek softly.

"Am I?" She ran a bit a head of him and flaunted her whole body, teasing him a bit. "As long as I'm your only temptress." Rave smiled and winked at him.

Frost growled at her playfully, then tackled her to the ground and pinned her beneath him. "You are my only temptress...." He growled against her ear as he nibbled on her neck.

Rave moaned softly from the bites. "Forever?" Rave looked up into his eyes and licked his cheek. If Frost was her mate forever she would be the happiest Daeva alive... Besides Frost that is. She knew that would be happy. Even though they were a little different, it was like he completed her.

"Of course for life.....I don't do anything half way...." He nuzzled against her neck softly, "I love you Rave....and I would like to spend the rest of my life with you..." He pulled back and let her up, "Come.....you need to rest for the night....it has been a long day already."

Rave smiled and blushed. "I love you too Frost. Forever and always." She got up and kissed him. She found the cave and curled up. The events of the day was catching up to her and she yawned. She flicked her tail and wrapped it around herself.

He followed her into the cave, then settled next to her. He knew that he didn't have much warmth to offer her but it simply just felt good to curl up next to her. A smile crossed his face as he wrapped his tail around Rave, pulling her closer to him.
"Sleep....." He kept his eyes on the front of the cave. He had something to protect now. And he wouldn't fall short of his job. He couldn't afoord to lose something so precious to him.

The last thing Rave heard was Frost soft voice telling her to sleep. She happily did as told and drifted off. She knew she would sleep well tonight, she was protected Even better, she was loved by Frost and always would be loved by him.

Frost laid his head on her back as he watched the entrance carefully. He wasn't tired so he would watch over his love while she slept. He had no complaints. He could feel the steady beat of her heart, and the even breath washing over his cheek.
Minutes turned into hours, and finally the sun slowly started to creep up into the horizon.
