Battle Theme Song: Brink of Death

Rosalia nodded to her companions and listened to the idea Caleb had. Reasonable enough, but she felt sure that it would take more than the four of them to take down the grabboid-like creature. With all the fighters around that already had a similar idea and were attacking the thing, it would have to be when they all agreed at least for once to take down the thing. "With the help of the other fighters, the infected will be short-work, but the main enemy is the big one."

This was all she managed to get out as, all of a sudden, the infected attempted to jump at them and cut each other off. Not that they exactly reached their height level, but Rosalia could see that on higher ground, the drones could have reached them. As three were aimed at her, she flapped once, bringing her higher than them. But rather than wait until they fall back to the ground, she folded her wings against her back and dived at them. Her Ki energy spiked remarkably quick as she was level with all three of the drones. They would reach out at her as though they thought they could get her right then. That was when she unleashed the Murderous Strong Surge on them, blasting them with the intense attack.

About to hit the ground, she flipped head-over-heel several times, her wings tight against her back the best she could get them. As she neared the ground and came out of the spin, her feet touched the ground with her muscles already coiled back up and she sprang back into the air. Probably with drones coming up after her. Her wings expanded out quickly and gained the updrafts of the wind, gaining height back as fast as she could. But there wasn't a doubt in her mind that she would have to fight to get back into the air, with the drones.

Shirubā Hoippu


Shirubā gasped as his Spirit Kamehameha again had no effect and quickly used Instant Movement to distance himself, dodging the attack coming his way and reappearing far away behind the beast. "Now I'm getting mad," he said, popping a vein. He knew that now was the perfect time to do what he hadn't did while he was fighting that giant marshmellow. Kill. 'Time to finish this,' he thought with a grin. He concentrated some of his energy into one attack. Shirubā then jumped up and put his hands in front of him, firing a round of Makousens toward the beast. Four to be exact. He then finally ended the attack by firing a Kamikaze Ghost. It was a powerful attack, but he hadn't used that much ki for it, so he would be prepared if it didn't even work.

Beatrice watched the trio of zombies below her, they couldn't reach her. Just as planned. They did something unexpected, however, as the trio all let out a beam of red energy rocketing up toward her. Unlike the worm, this seemed more akin to a normal Ki blast. Which meant that it didn't seem she would have to worry about these. So she just let the beams pass through her as she continued to monitor the situation below. She continued to shout out warnings and advice, to tell people if one of the undead was coming up behind them, or if there was a good opportunity to attack. Ah, if only one of them had telekinetic powers, that could make these fights so much easier! She saw an opportunity to destroy several more of the undead, the ones that had fallen in Anima's pit, and drew the others' attention to it. That was a perfect chance, they couldn't let it go!




Kawari frowned as her blast only removed one of her attackers. Curious, the other two seemed to learn her attack, and how to avoid it, the instant the other succumbed. The only way such a thing would be possible was if they had become a hive mind. That wasn't good, it meant that whatever happened to the individual, the entire hive knew. That meant, if indeed those worms were part and parcel of the big worm still rampaging even now, that it was learning that same invulnerability. The more they fought, the stronger it would become. She braced herself as the last two undead rushed her, and activated an Energy Shield at the last instant, rushing forward to hopefully crash into the two, the barrier working as a more powerful battering ram. If the opportunity presented itself, she would use her pilebunker. If one of the undead were to become off-balance, she could lash out with it, and decimate their skull with a single blast.




Anima turned back as she felt the ground shake a little. She grinned, sighing with relief when she saw the pit she had carved had indeed snared her followers. She rushed back to the edge, knowing she had only an instant to act. Charging up, she put a huge amount of Ki into a blast that would hopefully fill the entire pit completely. After all, if the undead couldn't dodge, this would be the one chance to guarantee a hit. The blast would take a lot of her energy, but if it did the job, then it would be worth it. She heard someone else call out to the others about the pit, and she hoped another would be able to give her a hand. Though if this worked, that wouldn't be needed.




Hedoro let a feral grin come across her face as all three of her prey was caught. Not without a fight, as a trio of blasts shot at her. There was no strength in them, though, and she was able to simply bat them away. (Coincidentally, sending them off at a nearby pit, though this was merely a happy accident.) She then clenched her fist tight, and the masses of her substance surrounding her captives began to tighten more and more. The corpses wouldn't stand a chance, if they were unable to escape, they would be crushed into so much detritus in a handful of seconds. she had a plan for them, though, once they were broken and shattered. Three masses of her own substance, housing a rather offensive mass of dead flesh of both human and alien origin. Her eyestalk continually kept looking around her, to see if there was a nearby enemy she could attack, or something she needed to defend against.

As they leaped into the air two of the three Drones would be completely destroyed by the effect of the Murderous Strong Surge. One had actually pushed itself off of the back of one of the other drones, causing it to shoot away in an instant. Though those that hadn't been struck by the attack did nothing less then land rather easily upon the ground. As the crusher ball came forwards towards those that had landed upon the ground, they simply looked up and then dodged to the sides and away from such an attack. They wouldn't allow for these sort of attacks to kill them. The Drones reared back a moment, their bodies suddenly appearing to inflate suddenly, as odd spines shot from the bodies of the human corpses that were moving around. As they inflated, they hunched over and then their very bodies ripped apart almost like a cocoon. These new beast like monsters soon began ripping from the bodies of all the remaining parasite induced drones in the area.

New attacks meant new weaknesses, two of the advancing Drones were struck immediately by the Cumulonimbus Buster technique, their bodies being almost completely destroyed as they were struck, the remaining one would move backwards and away from their opponent for a moment. This other opponent may have revealed something new, but it wasn't a new attack they had used upon the Drones. As he teleported the first time, the drones were stricken at a loss, although the yell of bang brought their attention back to them. Turning around a single Drone was struck by the attack, of course Bubbles would find it near impossible to teleport again, seeing as their limit of attacks per turn were up. Thus they were left as sitting ducks for the suddenly evolving creatures. The remaining Drones reared back a moment, their bodies suddenly appearing to inflate suddenly, as odd spines shot from the bodies of the human corpses that were moving around. As they inflated, they hunched over and then their very bodies ripped apart almost like a cocoon. These new beast like monsters soon began ripping from the bodies of all the remaining parasite induced drones in the area. Their mouths opening as a sinsiter crimson beam is launched towards bubbles in an attempt to erradicate them in an instant.

Shiruba had been spending all his time and energy attacking the original parasite, he had failed to notice any attacks by the Drones that were covering the battle field. Each Drone reared back a moment, their bodies suddenly appearing to inflate suddenly, as odd spines shot from the bodies of the human corpses that were moving around. As they inflated, they hunched over and then their very bodies ripped apart almost like a cocoon. These new beast like monsters soon began ripping from the bodies of all the remaining parasite induced drones in the area. Though they had quickly evolved now into their new less human forms, the drones would immediately move forwards and strike out at Shiruba from behind, their jaws and claws aimed to grab hold and tear him to pieces in an instant. Even though their attack went through, the attacks would damage everything around the Worm, and yet the Energy Shield on the worm would protect it from all the damage it was taking. These opponents were so foolish, they still hadn't taken any realization to the defensive properties of this beast.

The drones focused on Beatrice would simply remain standing there, firing up ki blasts for a moment until they began to change their forms into the new evolved form as well. Once their form changed, so did the odd properties of the ki they used. This ki now resembling something closer to what the worm had used against Beatrice earlier. Luckily for Kawari, they were not expecting a physical attack like this to come through, one of the Drones coming right into place for the pilebunker attack to completely destroy it's skull, another being knocked away and crashing into the ground and then a broken wall with a crack of it's body, Although as this second one hit the ground it's body suddenly appearing to inflate, as odd spines shot from the bodies of the human corpse. As it inflated, it rose and hunched over and then it's very body ripped apart almost like a cocoon. These new beast like monsters soon began ripping from the bodies of all the remaining parasite induced drones in the area. The three caught in the pit hadn't stood a chance, each one was destroyed by the two incoming ki attacks and lay as nothing more then chunks of flesh on the ground at the bottom of the pit. Just like those in the pit, hedoro's Drones were soon crushed and destroyed, leaving a far less number of Drones to worry about for this entire group.

The drones hadn't been expecting such an attack from Zed, each one had been slammed into by the gun, and sent sprawling off and to the distance. They both crashed into the ground, and lay motionless. Now burning, the creatures tearing away at Razlo would continue to attack and rip away at him until they burned to their deaths. Their bodies laying limp one at a time on top of the male as they burned to death. Thus leaving no need for these two to have to worry about the newly evolved creatures that had come onto this battlefield.

Even with the explosion ripping apart the ground, these creatures had continued to move forwards although it would appear that the combined efforts of Rage and Echo, the creatures were all destroyed through their techniques, none becoming able to evolve into their new forms.

The main worm reared upwards and turned around, releasing fast and small beam towards Shiruba, aiming to pierce through the possibly already dead male and finish them off, before turning and aiming it's head into the sky, releasing a large orb like crimson ball of ki from it's mouth, which soon began shooting beams of oddly crimson ki outwards and directly aiming to kill everyone in the area at once with multiple beams of ki. It would seem that the worm was growing aggitated with all these people attempting to stop it, and killing it's Drones.

Beatrice watched as the zombies seemed to pulse, grow and mutate even before her eyes. They hadn't finished transforming yet? Curious. They certainly seemed more fearsome now, that was for sure. If she wasn't mistaken, they looked like they were growing closer to a form similar to that of the space lamprey. That meant- Yup. She began doing her best to dodge, circling and spinning in the air as the three that were still focused on her continued to take pot shots. she felt relatively sure that the beams weren't yet a threat, but just in case... She still managed to shout out suggestions or advice to some of the other fighters, in moments when she had a chance to look around.




Kawari watched as the two she had been fighting fell. One was down for the count, her pilebunker had destroyed it'd head. The other was only stunned, she would still have to try to finish it off. That might be easier said than done, however, as it suddenly twisted and warped, growing larger and more fearsome. It was undoubtedly stronger now, likely faster and tougher, too. Maybe not smarter, though... She could tell others were undergoing the same transformation, and relying on their Ki blasts as well. If this one tried such an act, she would be ready. For now, though, now she would simply close to close-quarters, and see if this one shared the same weakness as the last. If her pilebunker had worked before, perhaps it would work again?




Hedoro grinned as the trio she had been set against were all crushed. She wasn't even aware of the aid her deflected blast had supplied, too focused on her own prey. Now, she needed new victims. She saw a trio that seemed available, so she rushed toward them. If the three attacking Beatrice continued to be distracted by the ghost, she'd have a chance to attack them from behind, a potentially lethal mistake. If it looked like she would have the chance, she'd throw another volley of her own substance at them. Another Skin Attack, or was she up to something else? Meanwhile the large mass of substance that held the gobbets of crushed drones twitched and pulsed as it received new orders.
