Rouge looked at Justin. "Let's go then, shall we?" She dropped from the windowsill, using her wings like a parachute, landing perfectly fine on the ground. Tails didn't live far from his house.

Justin nodded, walking to the front door and meeting Rouge outside. He Took a bit longer, but he couldn't fly, so he had a legit excuse. "Alright. Lead the way." He said.

(Yeeeaaaaaahhh, I'm moving it to the fanbased xD)
Rouge nodded, and led him to Tails' and Sonic's apartment. Actually, it was only a few doors down. "You two live rather close." She commented, climbing the steps and ringing the doorbell. In about a fraction of a second, it was opened by a guy with blue hair. He grinned at Rouge slightly.
"Took you long enough."

Justin took a look at the blue haired guy. The guy was incredibly fast to have opened the door in a fraction of a second. He must be Sonic. Justin couldn't imagine any other name for him.

"Come on. Tails' parents are out." He turned and beckoned for them to come in. Rouge looked at Justin and nodded, meaning he should come too, and went inside with Sonic. She barely took a step inside when she heard game noises, and Knuckles telling Tails to fire his gun.
"Shoot him!"
"I'm trying, I'm trying! Why does it take so long to reload my gun?!"
Rouge entered the living room, following Sonic. She was just in time to see Tails blow a zombie's head off. Sonic was right; blood, organs, guts, this game had everything you could think to put in it. "Wow...that's....really disturbing....And in high definition too. How great...." she said, disgusted.

Justin walked in, then caught sight of the game. Blood, guts, and gore. Some of his FAVORITE things to find in a zombie game. He liked those things in other other games sometimes, too, but still. The game itself looked familiar. "I think I have this game." He said. He WOULD remember something like this. He was too much of a nerd NOT to.

"YESSSS! NEW HIGH SCORE!" Tails raised his fist in the air, slowly pulling it down as he said yes. "Isn't it great?! It has all the effects of-"
"Of a real battlefield."
Rouge turned her head over at the corner. Shadow was leaning against it, his arms crossed. "Long time no see, Shadow." She waved, putting her hand on her hip, putting more wait on one of her feet. "How'd that mission in Antartica work out?"
"Attaquite." he replied.
Sonic looked at Rouge. "In other words, he got over full marks."
Knuckles glanced at Rouge. "Sonic, you left the door open and this thing came in."
Sonic rolled his eyes. "I invited her, Knuckles. Can't you guys get along for once?"
"No." They said at the same time, glaring at each other.

Justin looked at the others. He payed close attention to Rouge and Knuckles. Something was between them, and it wasn't that good. However, it was none of his business, so he decided to avoid the topic. He then looked over at Shadow. "Hey. Name's Justin." He introduced himself.

"Shadow."
"I'm Sonic, although you probably all ready guessed that. Knuckles, Rouge's ex boyfriend, and Tails Miles Prower. He's got a lot more animal genes then human, as you can see. We look more human, and he's a fox on two legs. Oh, and he's got two Tails." he said, pointing at everyone as he introduced them.
Rouge and Knuckles weren't paying attention.
"What the heck IS an echidna, anyway?" Rouge said, crossing her arms. "Some kind of fowl creature that nobody likes?"
"Bats are even worse. They're hidious. It just so happens your mom was turned into a beautiful one through experimenting. If your daddy hadn't been there to help, you're mom would be dead and you wouldn't exist. Either way, he was killed and she died of injuries inflicted by a wolf."
"And what aboutyour parents? Still fighting, are they? Or have they all ready destroyed each other and left you an orphan?"
Knuckles stood. "Don't you even talk about them!" he snarled.
"Oh, I forgot, they hate you, and the fact that you ever came into this world."
Sonic had to grab onto Knuckles to stop him from attacking Rouge. "Both of you shut UP!"
Rouge looked away. "Hmph. He was the one who cheated on me.
Tails looked at Shadow. "Geez, no wonder you enjoy being single."

Justin remained silent. He did NOT wanna get involved with this kinda drama. It would be best to avoid Knuckles for the time being, or he might come face to face with the guy's namesake.

"ANYHOW...." Tails said, turning back to his videogame. "Leaving the drama which is Rouge and Knuckles...."
They answered this at the same time.
"She started it!"
"He started it!"
"And if you don't shut your mouths, I'll stop it. Permanently." Shadow said, looking at them.
"You are so mean!" Rouge said, pouting.
"Serves you right." Knuckles sat back down, arms crossed.
"AH!" Sonic put his hand in a fist as Rouge gave the impression of about to retort, extending his index finger.
She glared at him. "You're lucky we're friends, or that finger would be broken right now."
Behind Rouge, Knuckles held up his middle finger, mouthing a word I am not even going to add in.
Sonic had returned his attention to Tails' game. "There's a zombie right infront of you! Are you blind?!"
"Hold on, I'm getting the shotgun--" he mashed buttons.

Justin pulled his focus back to the game. He sorta had the urge to call next after Tails died, mostly because there was a zombie in front of him, but it wasn't his place.

"Aw, man. Game over." Tails frowned. He looked over his shoulder at Justin. "Hey, Justin, you wanna play? It's really fun!"
"If you like guts and brains spraying all over you." Rouge said, rolling her eyes.
Knuckles seemed to be resisting the urge to make a mean reply to that.
"Four o' clock. Time for me to go." Shadow said, pushing himself off the wall.
"Why?" Sonic asked, looking at Shadow.
"I have a bomb to set." He walked from the room, and from the sound of a door opening and closing, also the house.

Justin smiled, nodding at Tails. "Count me in." He said, eager to blast things. He grabbed the controller, then started the game on hard. He saw three zombies, expertly putting a round through each of their head. More started coming, and Justin decided to get creative. He shot a few more, then actually rushed one of them, mashing a few buttons for a sick move he knew for the game. His character actually punched the zombie in the mouth with his gun hand, then shot it through the skull.

"Sweet!" Tails said, smiling.
Rouge just stared, looking ready to throw up.
"Don't get bat puke on my new shoes." Knuckles said, unable to hold that remark back.
"Oh, so you actually have two pairs of shoes now? And one of them isn't from a dumpster?" Rouge replied, sitting down in another chair opposite Knuckles.
"What time did your parents say they'd be home, Tails?" Sonic asked, ignoring Knuckles and Rouge.
"Five, I think."
"So we've still got an hour. I'm hungry. Do you have any chilli dogs?"
"Wow, you've really liked them since you turned into a werewolf that one time, huh?" Tails chuckled, "Yeah, they're leftover, but I think they'll do."
"Yeah. I hated that it wasn't even every full moon, but every night." Sonic went into the kitchen.
