Christof froze, glancing down at her and hesitated not to poke her to see if she was still alive. No... still breathing. Well, alive as she ever was. Gingerly, and in only his trousers and undershirt he shifted to lift her up. She was small and light as a feather- he was used to hefting much heavier corpses. With this corpse, though, he handled with care. Cradling her gently, he swallowed and quietly carried her to the door- judging by Scruff's still being curled up by it, the horrible little Death Charm was still out there...
There was nothing to it, though, she couldn't sleep here. People would get entirely the wrong impression. Tentatively, he shifted her until she lay across his hunched shoulder, freeing his repaired arm to crack the door open, shoving the fat Scareon away with a foot in the process.

Death Charm had stayed wide awake, laying his back and wings across the bottom of the door, angled nose shoved into the little corner-crack between the door and and the floor. He was listening, he was sniffing for any indication that Amrita was still in that room; that she hadn't escaped out the window. Well, he tried to sniff constantly...but he had to stop every time the fat, stupid scareon decided to fart. But when Christof's heavier foot falls came closer to the door, Death Charm perked his head, tilting it up to look up at the patchwork. Oooh hey, his Master was there, too! Jaw hung open in a Charm-like smile and tail starting to thump happily on the ground; Heeee, was it time to go home?
Soon the creature was sitting up, snowing off the slightly-darker patch that was not the floor outside of Christof's door. His head tilted, and suddenly he recalled the whole...shovel thing the Hunchback had going on earlier.
So he started to back up and down the hallway that lead to Amrita's room, keeping a distance from them but definitely keeping his eye on the Patchwork and his sleeping Master.
He was making sure he was being followed, and if he wasn't...well, he'd make the patchwork follow. His Master was sleeping, it was bed time! Bed meant back to their room.

Christof stiffened as the Death Charm eyeballed him, free hand clenching into a fist, ready to defend himself against the terrible little beast- but it seemed like it wasn't going to attack, instead trotting up ahead to watch him expectantly.
Well. Alright, then. That was okay. Marginally. Maybe it knew where it's home was supposed to be. Against his better judgment, he followed the little creature, careful to not wake the sleeping Ghoul on his hunch as he glanced from door to door, looking for one that might at least bear her name on it.

Death Charm's happy noises sounded remarkably like a motorcycle engine on the fritz. His purring was terrible, his little chirps near ear splitting...and the worst part of it was, that he was happy to be followed. Which meant there were a lot of horrible noises coming from the miniature fire beast.
DC lead the patchwork and his sleeping Master to the basement, where the temperature plummeted to keep the Zombies mostly fresh. It was always uncomfortable in the cold, but it was one thing he was willing to do for his precious Amrita. He loved her dearly, and he was going to try and make her happy!
Eventually he came to a stop at one of the rooms, one with a very cracked and questionably safe looking door. He sat in front of this door, turning his head to stare at Christof. Then, like any good pet wanting in, started to paw at the door, claws leaving rough scars in the wood.
Amrita, of course, remained completely out of it, only making a noise once, and that was to wrap an arm around him a little more, apparently making herself comfortable.

It had been a while since she had last contacted Amrita - after all, she had forgotten to ask the ghoul for her number. Then again, did she even have a skellyphone? The Demoness looked at her own skellyphone thoughtfully, staring at the screen with a small smile, the wallpaper a photo of her mother and herself prior to enrollment in Amityville. So many things had happened since then - she had formed a band, battled another band, auditioned for a part in a school play and raided Christmas town. While not all of them were pleasant memories, she had fun for the most part.
The pumpkin symbol on her necklace had started to glow faintly, and Lizzy had been curious about the necklace she had gifted to Amrita... Could a symbol have appeared already? Since there was no way for her to reach the Vetala through skellyphone, she had decided on a trip down to the Undead dorms to make a surprise visit - hopefully, none of the students will stare at her... After all, it must be rare for a Demon to appear outside of her own Dorm, right?
However, as she approached the (rather foul smelling) structure, Lizzy knew that she could no longer turn back; she really wanted to see Amrita - it really does feel odd not to, after everything they had gone through together!
Besides, she wanted to show her Jimmy... Yes, Jimmy is back! Well, not the Jimmy she blew up, but it was a tribute to Jimmy nonetheless! However, it seems like the Reigndeer was nowhere to be found.
As she entered the Undead Dorms, the Demoness first looked left, then right, wondering how she was supposed to locate the room of a single ghoul. She had heard of how the Undead Dorms were divided and was always kept cold to keep the many zombies fresh; since Amrita is a corpse, she must be in one of the lower levels? Trying to ignore the overwhelming smell of death and decay, she started to descend, careful not to step on anything odd-looking.
In the basement, she stopped, shivering at the cold. The smell seemed to be getting from bad to worse as well, but she was a ghoul with a mission! As such, she took off in a completely random direction, following her imaginary Amrita-locator; to her surprise, she spotted a very familiar hunchback instead. From a distance, she noticed that he seemed a bit off, but it wasn't until she was close enough to see what he was wearing and who he was holding that she froze.
Amrita is on Christof's back! Christof is not wearing any pants! Amrita is out cold!
Immediately, her mind went straight to the only conclusion she could derive at - Christof must had shocked Amrita with the fact that HE HAD NO PANTS ON and then KNOCKED HER OUT with a shovel or something, and is PLANNING TO SAW HER HANDS AND FEET OFF like she had wailed to her about during their last meeting. This could only mean one thing...
"CHRISTOF. YOU PUT AMRITA DOWN RIGHT NOW." If the Death Charm was being loud and scary, Lizzy's voice was louder and probably scarier. On instinct, she tugged at the end of the silk accumulated on her giant spool, and stomped towards the Patchwork; he can put himself back together when she's done with him, but not where he's already stitched up currently.
He'll need new stitches.

Christof, who WAS wearing pants, actually, but very little else, shivering in the cold Undead Basement, whirled around at the sudden shout of his name. Who...? OH! Lizzy! But what was she doing here? He hadn't seen her face to face since their terrible class trip when he had given her a healing Ring in the infirmary, but he was very glad she was feeling better. Her expression confused him, though. What was wrong? He couldn't put her down here, the floor was cold and that would be very rude. His intent was to tuck her safely back into her bed, since his was unsuitable. He staggered backward at her seeming panic- oh no- oh NO she must have gotten the wrong idea! No no no he wasn't doing anything bad, he swore! Not that she could hear him, only his panicked expression and furrowed eyebrows as he stepped away from her, a free hand raised to try to calm her down.
It REALLY wasn't what it looked like!!

[Hope its alright to post since I was tagged? owo]
He looked worried - and then frightened - at her advance - something she assumed to be due to a guilty conscience. Yes, a guilty conscience! After all, Amrita had been so sweet to him! How could he do whatever he was trying to do to her? Then again, he had been helpful to her during the raid on Christmas town.... Perhaps she should give him a chance?
Lizzy raised an eye brow at the Patchwork, eying the unconscious ghoul resting on his back with a worried expression; she would ask for Christof to transfer Amrita over, but was not sure if she would be able to withstand her weight...
"I can't really bear to hurt you before listening to what you have to say, after all..." The Demoness sighed softly, finally speaking again after a long pause as she lowered the silk held between her fingers. Grabbing her skellyphone, she switched the screen to display the texting screen and held it out to the boil standing in front of her, "Here, type out whatever you have to say for yourself... It better be a good reason!"

Christof's eyes were still wide, brows raised now as he tentatively pointed to the Ghoul sleeping on his hunch and then to the door and a sad attempt to explain he had been *putting her away*. When the device was offered to him, though, his expression furrowed into one of confusion. What was this? Locked in the basement of his old Master's laboratory, the only technology he had really had much experience were gadgetry powered by steam and things that crackled with electricity. This tiny device covered in buttons confused him and he glanced back up to Lizzy's face anxiously. Alright so... it had letters on the buttons, but three per button and a number too- HOW DID THAT WORK?
He was happier with a pencil and paper, thank you. There was probably one in Amrita's room, he'd bet anything.

Amrita didn't wake up, even with the noise that Lizzy was making. Death Charm however, seemed very interested in the pink haired Demoness that was making fun yelling noises. It keened at her - a terrible, chainsaw noise - and went right back to scratching urgently at the door to Amrita's room, desperate to get inside apparently.
In fact, it seemed urgent that the door was opened; that much became apparent when DC started yowling, making a terrible noise. What's worse, is that those noises started to get louder and louder, making growls and roars that made the beast sound at least twice as big as it really was.
Inside. Now.
It was a miracle Amrita stayed asleep.

The eye brow stayed raised as she tilted her head. There was a short pause before her eyes widened as she leaned forward towards the hunchback, "You... You don't know how to operate a Skellyphone?" Then again, Tahki didn't know how to when they first met; it must not be something that is used widely... Although its not like Christof would be able to answer it which his stitched mouth.
"Basically, you press the button once to get the first letter, twice to get the second letter, third for the third letter and so on... You can type out a m-" Before she could finish talking, however, the most terrible sound reached her ears and she froze; that was a most familiar sound. A most familiar sound indeed. She slowly turned towards the source of the horrible noise. Upon seeing the Death Charm, she squeaked and flinched, torn between wanting to cling onto Christof's arm out of fear (despite still being wary of him) and wanting to kick the thing for reminding her of how she had "died" in Christmas town.
She went for the former, latching herself onto the Patchwork's arm, as she hid behind him, peeking out from his side as she leaned onto him gently, "That- That-" She paused for a short second as she stared at the creature, "... Is rather cute."
Tucking her Skellyphone back into her pocket, she took a deep breath, stepped out from behind Christof, and marched down to the wailing creature. Bending down and giving it a gentle pat on its head, she then turned to face the hunchback again, "Is this your room? Amrita's room? THE LABORATORY YOU USE TO SAW PIECES OF BODY OFF?"
Nope, not giving up on that idea yet.

Skelephone? Oh yes! He knew what those were! He wasn't supposed to use them at home anyway, and usually he remembered them having a large round dial that spun to access the numbers... Even so, the demoness's instructions sounded... complicated.
And then there was the snarl that made the hunchback jump and nearly drop the poor girl on his shoulder. Trembling, face contorting with frustration, Christof ignored Lizzy's fresh accusations to storm forward, this time swinging his leg to give the Death Charm a furious kick before trying the door to see if it was open. He didn't think riffling through Amrita's pockets would help the situation any.

DC had been so focused on trying to get into Amrita's room by digging that he didn't notice the Demoness that leaned down to pat him on the head until it already happened. The clawing stopped but his nails remained embedded in the wood, standing on his hind legs with his weight against the door. After making that terrible purring noise again, it went right back to it's digging - until Christof's foot hit his side.
The pained yelp still didn't wake Amrita, despite it echoing off of the walls.
Now, DC was growling at Christof, instead of the situation. The molten veins that littered the Charm's body grew brighter as the heat intensified, but he didn't attack; his Master was on the Patchwork's back! But one day, oh yes, one day...
The door opened easily once the knob was turned, showing the...kind of empty room. There was a desk in the far corner with a lamp and several snoozing school supplies resting on it, and beside that was a giant fishtank with seemingly countless Floresce fish within, all swimming about stupid but all appearing to stop and look at the door when it opened. They all apparently lost interest soon after and went back to their swimming carelessly. The bed in the corner was perfectly made, save for a ruffled spot at the very edge where a silver Wardog Pup slept with a spoon in it's mouth, and on it's back was a baby white and blue rhythm spirit, it's headphones giving a tiny beat to the still room. Even then, the bed was probably unused; there was a strangely Amrita-shaped figure on the floor, outlined in scorch marks.
Apparently she slept in this spot, this one spot on the floor, every night. Christof should recognize these scorch marks; they were the same, if not a little darker, than the one outside of his room; apparently, every night, Death Charm curled up beside her at various spots.

Hurrying forward before Lizzy could stop him, Christof quickly crossed over the singed spot to the seemingly infrequently used bed. He didn't know why she preferred the floor, especially being so scared of that horrible little Christmas Pet where it seemed to prefer to bully up to her, judging by those dark marks. But no matter, she clearly was not getting enough sleep as a result.
Maybe he could talk to Barth about building her a containment unit- no, he thought better of it. Maybe he could ask Barth if he could borrow the tools HE needed to build the containment unit.
Gingerly, although it seemed nothing would wake the ghoul, he set her on her bed, pulling the covers up over her, he turned back to Lizzy with a sour expression. It wasn't HIS fault she had passed out in his dorm room! What was the demon so worked up about, anyway? If anything he should be asking HER what she was doing here- the last time he had tried the front door to the Demon Dorms, he had gotten a thorough beating and chased off of the premises. Visiting his Sloth Demon friend these days involved a ladder and a window and really smooth timing. But of course a Demon could just waltz right in- he had seen them roaming the Undead halls before.

Oh, so it is Amrita's room! She couldn't help but feel excited as she scanned the room; she felt special just by being there! The scorch marks baffled her, as well as the fact that Amrita preferred sleeping on the floor than on the bed. Then again, there were more pressing matters at hand!
Lizzy patted the ghoul gently on her head when she was tucked in, amazed that she was still sound asleep despite all the ruckus. Stroking her hair the same why she would brush Jimmy's fur (to its delight) every night, she kept silent while eying Christof; since Petro's near-nakedness did not faze her in the least, why would Christof's near-nakedness cause her to faint? Perhaps because they were of the same race?
"Well, lets find you paper, shall we?" She finally spoke again, moving towards the desk with the sleeping stationary; she bought her own pen out... She had never liked using the school supplies, although she liked collecting them. Finding a piece of paper that didn't look important, she dug out her own pen and handed the stationary over to the hunchback; he better give a good explanation for all this....

He blinked at the paper fora moment, trying to figure out what Lizzy wanted. For someone who survived on silent queues, he figured his actions spoke for him. No matter, he supposed she wanted a little bit more. Glancing to make sure the Death Charm was occupied and staying *away from him*, he moved to sit at Rita's simple desk, scrabbling out as quick and concise an explanation as he was able:
Ms.A. escape DC. via my Dorm. Was fixing arm. Ms.A. fell asleep on bed. Brought back here. No harm intended!! Apologies.
Glancing at the tiny sleeping form, he flushed slightly, brows furrowing as he tried to imagine what on Earth else he was doing with her.
