Colonel Asha I was so insecure about the way I looked, especially back in middle school. That's when kids *really* started judging other people based on how they looked, y'know? Nobody actually got on *my* case about my looks nor my personality, but just seeing how cruel they could be simply made me feel a tad insecure about myself.
I always worried about what they would think of me, and about whether they would talk behind my back if I said anything stupid. I guess that's why I was such a quiet girl back then!
Now, I don't care too much. 8D
Oh, and I still wear glasses. I haven't worn contacts in a while... xD
Also, I'd like to thank you for the compliment that was directed toward my avatar. I'm a sucker for beautiful virtual hair [:3], and I'd like to admit that I love those Memphis Locks on your own avatar. ;D Ah I understand. I was the same except I had most of my grade on me constantly all from grade 5 to grade 12. But now I am far far away from those people. Glasses are cuter over contacts anyday. ♥ Lol and you're welcmoe. And thank you. ^w^

I used to live in Michigan; overall, my life there was okay, but I used to have some people make fun of me for being "Chinese" when I'm not. : /
That kind of stopped once I started going to high school... But by then I had almost completely withdrawn into my anti-social shell. :c
It's a good thing I had friends to bring me back out of that shell. x'D
My parents and siblings still live in Michigan, but now I live in Hawai'i. <3
With my [extended] loud-mouthed family, I'm learning to accept everything about me. I also talk a lot more, and I've learned to speak up for myself when necessary. I was too shy to talk to many guys in school, but now I even have a boyfriend for the first time in my life! The two of us only live about 2 minutes away from each other, which was such a strange coincidence once I found out. LoL. It has been almost a year since I've first gone out with him. : D
Ah! And I never mentioned that I also love my singing voice.
Singing was my life; especially in high school. > w<
Now my singing's kind of "Eh..." since I now work way more than I sing, but that's life. And I still love singing. :3

Everybody says I'm too overconfident about certain things, but I just think that overconfidence allows me to jump into a situation without overanalyzing it (or analyzing it at all). Most of the time it ends up working out, so what's the problem?
So yeah, I love my confidence.

My hair wasn't always short it has been various lengths throughout the past year...& as of right now it has been dyed to a dark chocolate-ish brown, and it makes my green eyes look really intense. as to make-up I don't usually wear more than foundation,a little bit of eye liner and mascara. the more you practice it the better it looks even a rush job. I had a lot of practice due to the fact when I was a kid I did ballet, tap, and jazz... so I had to learn how to do/fix my make-up on my own. (moms couldn't always be backstage) just keep practicing and you will get better. I recommend starting with a set of gold tones with a little bit of brown. that way if you mess up it won't be as noticeable if you had a color...neutral tones are best for working to perfect the eye shadows in my opinion.

   The first two are blurry because they were taken with the built-in webcam on my laptop. x_x But they're also the most recent pics I have of myself. The third is from two summers ago I think. I like how dark my hair naturally is. And how soft and straight it is. I like how my eyes change color. I like my legs, my long fingers, my long toes XD... my smile and my face! And my obsession with all things artistic. Drawing, painting, reading, writing. I like my face piercings (even though I'm not wearing them in ANY of these pics, lol) and the tattoos on my back. I like me. In fact, I love me. :] I agree that you should love yourself too.

I love my skin colour, because it's pale and pink just where it needs to be and it's clear! I love my eyes because they're unusual and beautifully coloured. I love my cute button nose. I love my soft, pouty, pink lips. I love my small chin. I love my heart shaped face. I love my rosey cheeks. I love my boobs, because...well, they're boobs! I love my beauty marks. I love my belly button, I think it's funny. I love my butt, it's so big and round and out there! ♥ I love my hips because they're so round, I love holding my hips. I love my legs because they're long and well defined. I love my feet because they're how I get around, I can crack every bone in them, plus I think my toes are cute.
